Wow, lesson learned. Those asking about air conditioning, coffee makers, etc versus if I had sand toys and allow pets best for me to direct elsewhere. I could do a big remodel like I did the downstairs (619032) but my college-age kids like the 60s look and feel (about when it was built). Tub is cleaned and disinfectant before every arrival. When guests don’t use the outdoor showers and bring in sand and lotions does get clogged. I personally snake it about every month and I will get an outside firm or myself within a day if there is a clog. There is a garbage disposal, replaced it about 4 years ago. It does require flipping a switch. Refrigerator is only about a year old. Complaint was a first and could not repeat. Ceiling fans not an option due to low open beam ceilings, nowhere to hide electrical and brackets, wiring could damage membrane roof. When they indicated a key fan was broken, I brought down two new fans My kids have significant reactions to mold and dust. Cleaning practices, choices of furniture, no carpeted rooms, and having some fans with filters is always in place to ensure they and similar guests have a great stay. The washing machine is less than a year old. Quick wash feature is about 45 minutes, others are longer. Washer gets lots of abuse due to the continued washing of sandy towels, etc. It and dryer were a tradeoff for quicker ones with more electronics for ones that wouldn’t break quickly. Appreciated having the stovetop brought to my attention. It wasn't working right. Crew was spraying it down, causing shorts. Now all 4 burners work and different cleaning practice is in place. Interesting laundry remark. We do have our own machines at home. Laundry is shared with downstairs and I do start loads for our cleaners and bring half finish loads I started at home when things need an extra round. All the VRBO reviews came from VRBO guests, including the guests that came in the day after the Ezell’s left. Not on VRBO are the ones that come back annually that chose to go outside of VRBO. My guess is they also like the place since they keep coming back. I had three cleaners help get the place ready and I did the fans myself. I will talk to them about this review Prior to VRBO review, I had already refunded the cleaning fee and tried to check on them daily. When things happen and guests need to leave early I have refunded them the days not used. If I had been asked would have done the same.
