Great house!

This a great little house that was perfect for our stay. We saw deer in the yard daily and enjoyed the screen porch.

Perfect Beach House

We had so much fun! The beach access is just twenty or so steps from the house. The neighborhood is quiet. The kitchen is well equipped! The outdoor shower is the best. We hope to book again soon!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Super cute and cozy with a great layout Only draw back was very narrow drive way and no place to park a boat if you are bringing one to fish while you stay on the island

Convenient location, musty smell

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this property twice in the last five years, and we like the location. It is convenient to the beach and a short bike ride to shops. However, the house is very musty - much more so in our more recent visit (June 2025). In fact, it is so musty that many of our clothing items and backpacks still smelled musty weeks after our visit even after airing them out. For the price that is charged for this property, I expect more, and I would hesitate to rent it again or to recommend it to others.

August Rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately due to a car accident en route to our weekend getaway to Jekyll we had to return home and cancel the day of check-in. (We were all fine, but the car was no longer drivable.) We didn't get to experience all that the beach home had to offer, but we were very impressed with the kindness we received when we had to call to let them know we would not be able to make it. The owners were also very kind in allowing a partial refund. We really were not expecting one and didn't even ask as I would understand if it was too late. A partial refund made the disappointment and frustration of missing out on a much-needed quiet and relaxing weekend on the beach a little less painful. The next time we can travel to Jekyll, I will rent from them again.

Feb/mar 2024

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the best place we have ever rented. Clean, lots of windos so bright inside, room sizes were awesome, kitchen fully stocked with anything you would need, hangers in the closets and the location was perfect. The only issue is the bushes along the drive. It is very difficult pulling out as you can't see any walker of bike person until you're in the middle of the road. Those bushes should be trimmed down.

Thanksgiving week

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The accommodations were good for the 5 of us. More kitchen utensils in a rental that we have ever had. We enjoyed the deer in the back yard. The kitchen is quite small, but we managed. Would have enjoyed a recliner or a more comfortable chair in the sitting area nearest the kitchen. All in all a good stay.I

Great experience again

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great spot to get to the beach (new access at the end of the street). Great walking area and friendly neighbors. Wondeerful tv programing for sports or shows. Only downside was the constant traffic from a nearby house being renovated.
