We had the most amazing time staying at Francesco’s home! Not only was the view spectacular, the villa felt like a true Sicilian home away from home. Francesco was an excellent host, so warm and welcoming - we would love to come back one day!

What a haven. We loved Francisco and Mariana’s place. It was close enough to Cefalu to enjoy the town and the hill towns, but a complete paradise of quiet and contemplation of the sea.

We are a family of 5 including (12 years, 16 years and 19 years). This villa offered excellent spaces for everyone, large shady areas, a beautiful and amazing view and a lovely pool and area. The hosts were brilliant… very hospitable, welcoming and responsive throughout our stay. The meet up in Cefalu to guide us to the property was so helpful after a long journey and made the check-in stress free.

Warm and welcoming hosts. Beautiful property with incredible views above the town of Cefalu. Property has everything you might need for a wonderful weeks stay.

Cefalu stay

We could not have had a nicer time. Francesco and his family were wonderful hosts. The accommodations were wonderful. The view was spectacular. We hope to come again in the future.

Francesco personally greeted us at his beautiful home and explained how everything worked. He also got some basic groceries for us to make it convenient for our first morning there. He set things up specially for the 18 month old baby traveling with us. One day when I was ill he offered to take me to a doctor or get medicine for me. He is a kind and generous host. The home is very comfortable and has everything you need for a most enjoyable stay.

This place was absolutely wonderful! It has the perfect picturesque look of a house tucked in the Sicilian hillside but with all the amenities needed to keep you cozy and comfortable. The outside view is also stunning. We bought fruits, cheeses, wine and prosecco in town and then had a wonderful dining experience at the house with the family overlooking the sea. My teenage daughters loved all of it. And the biggest bonus? The host, Francesco, is wonderful. He helped us every step of the way and made us feel like family. We’ll definitely be back.

Our stay at Francesco's house in Cefalù was a highlight of our travels. As a host, Francesco was phenomenal, striking the perfect balance between attentiveness and allowing us our privacy. His house offered a quaint and cozy retreat, complete with the comforts of home yet a distinctly Sicilian charm.What made our experience unforgettable was the house's stunning view—unparalleled vistas of the sea that framed our mornings and evenings with natural splendor. The house, a perfect embodiment of coziness and beauty, paired with Francesco's hospitality, made our visit to Cefalù truly magnificent. This is not just a place to stay; it's a venue to experience the best of Sicily.

Far from the madding crowd

An absolute gem of a place. Well equipped property, inside and out. Owners (Francesco and Marianna) are deservedly proud of this quaint property and gardens. Swimming pool and patio immaculate. Indoor and outdoor shower rooms. Car needed as location is 3.6 miles from Cefalu town centre. Highly recommended and Francesco, provided the warmest welcome, a fabulous bottle of local wine, and took us on a personal tour of Palermo. His hospitality was beyond our expectation. Would also recommend the supermarket Gourmet Deco Cefalu - Waitrose on steroids!

Beautiful Hilltop Villa With Amazing Views

We were a party of 6 including my wife and I, our three adult kids, and my mother. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful stone house perched over the town and coast of Cefalu. Francesco could not have been more gracious and responsive. He arranged for a chef who cooked us a lovely seafood dinner, he made recommendations and responded immediately to any questions. The property and gardens are amazing. But we were also quite content to stay in the house during a heavy rain day. The road that approaches the house is quite steep and a little tricky. We highly recommend this location.

Amazing

Stop looking and just book this. Beautiful, comfortable Italian farmhouse. Wonderful stone walls and beams inside. Comfortable, quality furnishings. Many beautiful antiques. Waist-deep pool. Amazing outdoor spaces & living with plenty of shade or sun to enjoy the beautiful view. Beautiful landscape and gardens. Everything you could possibly need. So peaceful and quiet yet only 10 minutes to town, good restaurants, lots of activities. Owner is amazing, kind, so helpful. Stocked us with groceries for our first evening and morning since we were getting in late. He would have done more had we asked. Like having our own Italian home. We absolutely loved it!

En perle af et hus med super udsigt og en fantastisk vært

Man forkæler sig selv i dette hus i Cefalu. Pool og en frodig have med spændende planter - appelsiner og citroner og en flot, flot udsigt over hav og kystlinie. Solopgangen er sublim. Man fristes næsten til ikke at ville forlade stedet under sit ophold. Er man til strand er dette indenfor 10 minutter i bil. Er man til bjergvandring kan man på 1/2 time vandre i i baglandet som er en nationalpark. Palermo er ca. 1 time væk. Huset er meget persoligt og spændende indrettet. Ejeren - Francesco - er en helt fantastisk vært. Der er ikke den ting han ikke vil gøre for at dit ophold skal blive vellykket. Kan ikke rose dig nok for din gæstfrihed Francesco. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen og giver dette sted de bedste anbefalinger.

We had an amazing stay in Cefalu ! The house is amazing and has everything you need, the view is breathtaking and the host, Francesco, is one of the friendliest person I met in my life ! We had the best time sitting in the pool and enjoying the view, especially at sunrise. I highly recommend, and cannot wait to come back !

This is the perfect place and you would be so fortunate to spend some time at this beautiful oasis. We were looking for the best spot to enjoy a week with our mom for her first trip to Italy, so it had to be special. Not only is the home full of charm with a gorgeous view of the ocean, the shaded patio and perfectly sized pool tempted us to extend our stay. The best part of all was our host, Francesco. He made us feel like part of the family and offered great suggestions for what to enjoy in beautiful Cefalu. I would absolutely recommend this special place without any hesitation. We made memories to last a lifetime here and cannot wait to return. Stop searching and book this property, just not when we plan to add it to our calendar!

Quand vous louer cette maison, vous ne faites pas que louer une maison, vous louez tout l'accueil de l'Italie, la gentillesse, la beauté esthétique d'un lieu, l'art de vivre à l'italienne et tout ce qui fait de l'Italie ce pays rêvé.Francesco est un hôte sincères, sympathique, accueillant et bienveillant.Sa maison est tout simplement jolie avec une vue imprenable sur la côte sicilienne..Il ne manque rien dans cette maison, et avec un peu de chance vous pourrez manger les mandarines directement de l'arbre et mettre un peu de la magnifique huile d'olive qu'il presse avec ses oliviers sur votre salade.Nous avons tout simplement adoré cet endroit et le recommandons sans aucune réserve.PARADISIO!!!!!!

Haus mit Charme zum Wohlfühlen

Wir waren als Familie mit Kindern und Großeltern 5 Tage dort und wollten gar nicht abreisen. Toller Ausblick, Nähe zu Cefalu, ein sehr herzlicher Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Vacances en famille

Très belle maison avec vue magnifique. Cefalu est une très jolie cité médicale et balnéaire. Nombreux commerces. La route d’accès est impressionnante et nécessite une voiture haute mais on s’y habitue. Piscine très agréable. Pas de lave vaisselle. Très bon accueil de Marianna et Francesco. On recommande !

Mooi huis op schitterende locatie

Ruim sfeervol ingericht huis met ruime overkapping en terras en zwembad. Fantastisch uitzicht op zee vanaf 350 m hoogte. Rustige plek ongeveer 4 km van Cefalu vandaan. De laatste 800 m zijn erg stijl imhoog en vormen telkens weer een uitdaging om er te komen. De eigenaar, Franceso, is een hartelijke man die je graag wil helpen.

Fabulous!

We throughly enjoyed our stay in Sicily and would highly recommend staying here. The villa itself is wonderfully rustic and authentic and is equipped with everything you could possibly need and more! A real home from home. Francesco is a fantastic host who greeted us with a warm welcome and was attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Cefalu was beautiful and we also spent a lovely evening in nearby pituresque Castelbuono (an excellent recommendation by Francesco). We also enjoyed exploring other parts of the island (a car is a must) and the fantastic nearby beaches and the villa was always a welcome sight to return to. We fell in love with Sicily and wouldn't hesitate to stay again! Karl, Mel and family.

Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Francesco’s house. The location is perfect, calm and quiet with an amazing view, but still close to the main attractions in Cefalu. The house was clean and practical with loads of nice seating areas outside to enjoy the view and the pool. Francesco was a fantastic host, a great communicator, and overall lovely person - always available for questions and assistance.
