Cozy Creek review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was super clean and well furnished. It is set up more for visitors coming for a short 2-3 day stay than longer. It has a beautiful setting close enough to Gatlinburg that getting back from the great restaurants and events were not a problem. Being able to go the back way into Pigeon Forge was also a bonus. There were a few glitches for us since we stayed two weeks. Bringing our own supplies for a long stay was a challenge for storage when we got there. We rearranged and managed. The upstairs bedroom is especially nice. I am sure that most people that can climb stairs and don’t have a little blind Yorkie would chose to stay upstairs.We loved being there. We did had an adventure with a bear looking for food. Fortunately we did not leave any food goods in our pickup and it was not damaged.We look forward to coming back!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin was location was great, but cabin was damp, not very clean, the furniture was uncomfortable and very need of replacing. The overwhelming smell of air freshener was horrible. The couches had dog hair on them. This cabin needs to be updated. The bathrooms where tiny. The cabin needs a deep cleaning.

The bad was that we had to wash the bed linens before we could sleep in the bed. We would stay here again.

The beds are kinda hard, the dryer took forever to dry, the jets in the bathtub didn't work. The hot tub was nice. And it was nice to have a wood burning fireplace on the chilly nights.

Worn out and dirty

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was dirty.Everything was old and something didn't work.I would not rent this again under any condition. The pictures are very misleading.Since they make the cabin look spacious and it is small. I don't believe that the square footage is as advereticed. there is no grass for your pet , do even go to the restroom. Left a day early because of the condition of this 'luxury" rental.

High on the mountain

Has steps & yard area on a hill so hard to take dig out to do their business. Cabin is older & not comfortable. They need to replace mattress’ on both beds. Not a pleasant stay for us.

Perfect for smaller families with dogs

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been coming to the Smokies for years but this is the first time that we rented a cabin. It probably won't be the last! Cozy Creek was the ideal cabin for our small family (parents and one adult son), especially since we could bring our two rescue dogs. The cabin is very efficiently laid out and makes great use of space. It has everything you need, including ample firewood! We enjoyed the king size beds, the Jacuzzi, and the fireplace. We kept it simple and made many of our meals in the cabin, but also got out to enjoy the trails, horseback riding, and shops. The cabin is conveniently located close to everything. The Elk Springs staff were super responsive and the cabin was squeaky clean. We have nothing but great things to say about this cabin rental!

Cozy cottage was cozy

We had a nice stay at the Cozy Cottage. The creek in front of the property was serene. There is a dishwasher so be sure to bring dishwashing pods. The cooking utensils are a bit outdated so if you have a favorite knife or a spatula bring that with you if you plan to cook on site. I wish they were screen doors so we could’ve kept the cottage open during our stay for fresh air and better lighting. I enjoyed doing crafts and I especially enjoyed the big garden tub upstairs. If you plan to use the fireplace during the winter season, be sure to bring fire starter logs they do provide firewood, a small amount but you’ll need a fire starter.

Nice cabin, clean and as described.

Reviewer Comments: We arrived late Sunday evening; it’s a little hike to get luggage to cabin; cabin was cold at 48*; called to report heat not working; immediately sent maintenance out to fix issue w/ follow up text and call. Only recommendation is to add more lights in downstairs bath; very dark and dark shower liner also. We had a wonderful time; don’t miss Cade’s Cove or the Roaring Fork Motor Trail if you enjoy scenery. Love Gatlinburg! Recommend this cabin..close to road so if you want privacy, look for something else.
