While the grounds and lake were great (the only reason for the 3 stars) the home left a little to be desired for the price. Fan in bathroom halfway hanging out of the ceiling, doorknobs on vanity in bathroom came right off when trying to open, curtains over sliding doors were ripped off the grommets, shower head leaking and spraying everywhere, bedside light didn’t work, and outdoor motion light didn’t work. And seeing as how there are no porch lights on the side or driveway this was major. We almost ran into the low roof over garage multiple times. Also heat lamps in garage hung right over insulation batting I’m assuming to keep pipes from freezing. I only saw this because the garbage bags tapped over the downstairs bedroom window which looks into the garage had fallen down. That is a huge fire hazard! Disappointing as these are all very inexpensive things to fix. Attention to detail is important!

The cottage was exactly as described. Very comfortable and cozy. The kitchen was small but very well equipped as we cooked most of our meals there. Loved the gas stove and the grill on the deck. The views were amazing! Loved waking up, drinking my coffee, and watching the clouds move around in front of the mountains. My adult kids thoroughly enjoyed kayaking and fishing on the lake. Thank you.

House is very clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. This is our 2nd time there and already booked next Labor Day Weekend. The location is amazing. So beautiful and quiet. Love it!

Great stay in Amanda Park

Gorgeous setting for this lovely cottage on Lake Quinault! The cottage is comfortable, well furnished and has everything you need. There were a few things showing some signs of wear (e-lockbox, bedroom blinds, etc) but they were minor. Outdoor seating area, kayaks and even landscaping were all great! Yes, we would stay here again.

Quintessential cabin by the lake. And a spectacular view. Peaceful and serene.Lovely, roomy, and equipped cabin by Lake Quinault fulfill the getaway fantasy of any vacationer. Beds are firm and new. Kitchen is equipped for cooks including a new, clean BBQ. Watersports equipment is plentiful including safety equipment (i.e. life jackets). We would def stay here again.

Stunning Property

Of the 5 VRBOs we booked for our National Park adventure, this one was voted the favorite by the entire family. The cabin is clean, well-stocked, and cozy. The property is amazing! The views are incredible. The kayaks were so fun, and we saw so much wildlife as we kayaked around the lake. We enjoyed the nightly campfires. Also, one of our kids proposed to their fiancée on the beach. A lot of memories were made here.

We had a wonderful time! This is a fantastic location. Wildlife - deer, bald eagles....we think we saw an Otter. Kayaking was so much fun and beautiful scary and relaxation! We slept so well.Grest beds. Lakeside campfires, kayak launch, patio. Such relaxation. Close proximity to the tidal pools, largest Sitka and Nature's beauty

We had the best time on Lake Quinault! The property was peaceful and the view was beautiful. The house is cozy and we loved sitting out by the fire at night. Not an issue by any means, but there is one bedroom downstairs and two upstairs, if that is something you’d need to know for your group. We ran out of time and didn’t get a chance to use them, but I loved that there were kayaks available! We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Olympic.

Beautiful Location

Loved the location. Home was very dated and was not stocked well. We bought steaks to grill and the LP tanks were empty. Unloaded in the dark because outside motion sensor light wouldn't turn on.

Beautiful view of lake, small and overpriced

This was a good location for us to explore Quinault and Hoh rainforests, and the beaches and tide pools. Peaceful views from the front porch and yard. The house was tiny and barely accommodated our family of four- glad we were not spending a lot of time in the house. For the price, I did expect a little nicer. We are not in need of everything brand new and shiny, but did expect a coffee maker that Has a basket that fits, screens without holes and control over the temperature.fits

Amazing views and great access to the water. Furnishings are dated, but really well maintained and sparkling clean. Whole family had a great holiday.

I graduated from Lake Quinault High School, married and raised a family of three daughters who all graduated from Lake Quinault High School as well. Our love for this wonderful place generated from generations of both sides of the family who also lived, schooled and raised families here. With our love for nature, the great outdoors and wildlife, Lake Quinault has fulfilled all our activities, and all our tranquility of our relaxation needs. I am fortunate to be able to share this spectacular vacation area of Lake Quinault and Olympic National Park with people from all over the world and provide comfortable clean accommodations to our visitors. My greatest joy is to continue to share this amazing place with my family and my five grandsons. They all say that life is a dream at Lake Quinault!

Cottage Cove is located in the Olympic National Park and a beautiful temperate rainforest with recorded world largest trees, fern beds, dripping moss and worlds largest variety of mushrooms as well as aboundance of wildlife. For such a beautiful place there are a minimum of accomodations for the amount of visitor in this area. I offer four seperate comfortable , clean homes for guests to stay and have a chance to really enjoy our area. It will be unforgetable!

Available property to buy on Lake Quinault has always been scarce due to the boundaries of Olympic National Park, US Forest Service and Tribal land. We owned the home next to Cottage Cove and had been renting as a vacation home Since 1996. Over the years our business grew and we had established a successful business. We constantly had requests from our guests asking for additional accommodations, so they can bring more friends and family. When this home, next door to Cottage Peaks came up for sale, the previous owners gave us first option to buy! We were lucky to have the opportunity and very grateful!
The loop drive around Lake Quinault is spectacular! Drive is very scenic and great for wildlife viewing, Mountain and river viewing. The world's largest spruce is located on the grounds of the rain forest resort. Kalaloch and Ruby Beach, just 30 min. Dr North
You will benefit from a central location on the water, be within10 minutes from hiking trails and 30 minutes from ocean beaches. Also, 1 1/2 hr from Forks, WA (twilight series location). Also located in route of the Olympic Penninsula loop drive to Kalaloch and Ruby Beach, Forks, Port Angeles, Squim, Quilcene and Hood Canal.
