location location location

With having 4 children under age 5 the location of the house was perfection, so SO close to the beach and so close to town in Rosemary. We will be back!!!

Great stay, great location. If I had to be critical, the beds are uncomfortable, and there is no pantry for food. However none of that would deter me from coming back

The house needs some ordinary up keep/repair such as appliances, especially washer/dryer, new mattresses, new caulking in bathrooms, etc. Can see the wear and tear of renting. The kitchen was well equiped. My kids spent hours in the heated pool. All appliances functioned well. The proximity to small town life in Seacrest Beach and Rosemary as well as the beach made this stay even better. The private beach access meant an uncrowded beach flanked by Rosemary and High Point crowds.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Barefoot Daze has a great layout. We come to 30A every year with another family and have 5 kids ranging from 1 to 9. The layout with 3 floors gave everyone and both families enough space and room to come together for activities and alone time if needed. The pool is a nice refresher while the kids need a break from the beach which is just a quick 3 minute walk. Great private beach with chairs and umbrella. You are in the heart of everything and can walk anywhere you want from great dining to shopping to just a casual stroll.

Beautiful Home with Amazing Location!

This home was incredible! The house was absolutely beautiful and and clean. The gated neighborhood was a great perk and having a private pool and walking distance to private beach was also amazing. It was so easy communicating with the rental company as well. It did say on the listing that there was beach towels at the home and I even asked to be sure and they said yes, however, there were none at the house. After asking again when we were there they said there would be none. But that was our only little hiccup! I would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

There were no issues with the house or pool. We liked the added security of the beach access and appreciated the semi-private beach as compared to other beaches on either side of us. The proximity to all of the amenities of Rosemary and Seagrove make this an ideal location with the security of a gated entrance. We will definitely be back.

Thank you for your review. As you may have heard, Florida experienced an unusually large amount of rain this past summer and the runoff can cause swimming pools to look a little cloudy. To be properly treated a pool needs to remain inactive for a period of up to 48 hours. This is harder than it sounds as there are guests anxious to use the pool week-after-week and for months on end. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and assure you that this issue has since been resolved. We do hope to see you again soon!

Our kids loved the pool and the quick access to the beach. We loved the short walk downtown and pretty much everything about Rosemary Beach! We put in a request for the pool to be heated. By the 3rd day it was cool so I reached out to the property manager and they were quick to respond and had the pool heated up again by the time we returned home from dinner. We can't wait to come back and would definitely stay at Barefoot Daze again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for 7 days at the Barefoot Daze in Water's Edge neighborhood. This is a great location and centrally located in Rosemary Beach. Royal Destinations' staff were all great. They responded to every need/concern we had. But The house was a little disappointing. The washer did not work (and could not be repaired); several floor tiles were broken and dangerous (we had a cut foot); the gate to the pool was broken; there was no pool alarm; If we get charged "top dollar" (and this was not an inexpensive rental), I expect the quality to match.

The pool, the gate on the back porch preventing the little ones from getting in the pool, the daily umbrella and chair rental, Disney Junior 's the little things when traveling with two 3 yr olds! Could not have asked for more. Royal Beach Rentals was awesome also. We had to call them once for a slow drain and they sent someone right over and took care of it. Everything about our trip was wonderful and we can't wait to go back!

Barefoot In the Rain

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great place to spend a vacation with my wife, daughter and her family, and my son and his family. Plenty of room for everyone and plenty of things to do. The bicycles were great and so were the sand toys and pool toys. Even though there were torrential rains, we managed to have a great time. The house is close to shops and the ocean--just a nice little walk. Only a mention that the rugs in all the rooms need cleaning--area and carpeting. We hope to come back again. A wonderful home graciously shared.

Love this place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came here to celebrate my sister’s bachelorette party and wow, this place could not have been more perfect! The location was especially just so amazing within walking distance from so many gems. The house was also ready early for us which was super convenient. The only downside for this home was the back patio. The pool is a lot smaller than it looks in the pictures and it was way too hot to use (basically a warm bath temperature). Also, there were a ton of fire ant hills back there, so that should probably be dealt with. Neither of these issues were big problems for us as we were super busy, but if you’re looking to use the pool a lot, be aware of that!

Loved the location, the house was ok....

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Just returned from an annual ladies weekend. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return to Rosemary Beach but will probably find a new home next time. The owners store the bikes in the dining room, which is not very large. Though nice to let us borrow their bikes (though they were very rusty) we didn't want the responsibility of leaving them on the porch to be stolen.....therefore you tripped over them when you wanted to sit at the dining table. The house was well stocked and comfy furniture but the living room was a little smaller than the pictures made it look. I didn't look at the other bathrooms but the tile in the master bathroom shower had mold in several areas- no thank you!

Water's Edge is the Best Location on 30A!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a great vacation! The location of this property is an easy walk or bike ride to Alys or a minute's walk to Rosemary Square. The beach is easy to access and not crowded at all. The private pool was great. The home's furnishings and decor were beautiful. There's pool security gate. The pool alarm did not seem to work, but that wasn't an issue for us.Only complaints: The stove and oven may need to be replaced. We had difficulty getting water to boil as some of the burners continually turned off and on. The oven took a very long time to heat. The kitchen is beautiful and spacious, but the layout makes it difficult for more than one person to cook. The coffee maker appeared to be missing a part and we could not make regular coffee. The Keurig worked fine. This property is a great value compared to other homes for rental in the area. We will definitely return!

Water's Edge is a great place for families because of it's proximity to the beach, activities, shopping, and dining. Each home has its own private pool and the neighborhood is very private and safe. We hope you come back and stay with us again!
