We fell in love with Ponza and we will be back.

A beautiful home with amazing al fresco dining and rooftop kitchen. This view cannot be matched. Close enough to amenities of the local shops, but quiet and private. We had a wonderful week with Gaetano and Giuseppina. They were so kind and hospitable. We stayed comfortably across 3.5 air conditioned bedrooms and could not get enough of the space and peace and the view. We will be back. Grazie mille.

Modern villa with unforgettable views

Our nine-day independent holiday on the magnificent island of Ponza was a success. After spending some busy days (full of fresh sea-food) in a hotel in Porto, it was time to relax for a week in a tiny village of Le Forna. We chose Villa Inferno which turned out to be a real paradise. No picture on these pages does right to this place. It´s almost impossible to catch a realistic photo of the surroundings and the view. It´s far more stunning than in any photo we saw. The Villa itself is really spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. Me being a half-Pro-cook, enjoyed working in the fully equipped "summer-kitchen" every day. The balconies, stairs and whole interior are all white and full of light. Bathrooms are spacious and working. Air-conditioning in every room. Beds very comfortable. The helpful manager Gaetano with his lovely wife lives somewhere next door, but they let you have your holiday in your own peace. But still instantly reachable by e.g. whatsapp. We stayed with a little, active dog and he was very welcomed as well. There are couple of exciting beaches in a walking distance, but not for those who are afraid of heights. Most of them are kind of cliffs and one is lovely sandy beach with a little romantic sea-food restaurant. The waters are crystal-clear! Even though the communal mini-van services easily run whole day (2€ / trip) through the island, we chose to stay most of the evenings at the village. Hanging in the only, noisy bar. Eating almost every day pizza at the local pizzeria. Very relaxing. No other languages heard than Italian (September-October). The trip and the villa were worth every euro, and we will never forget the view we enjoyed there.

Bellissima casa con magnifica vista

Casa grande, pulita, comoda, cucina attrezzata con ogni utensile. Ma la cosa che la rende unica è magnifica terrazza su cala inferno. Vista mare da sogno. Ci tornerò sicuramente. Proprietario presente e molto disponibile ad ogni richiesta. Difficile trovare una casa così curata a Ponza. Inoltre bus appena fuori il cancello.

As relaxed as it looks

We had a fantastic time, as a family of four, staying with wonderful hosts Gaetano and Giuseppina. The property is scrupulously clean. The pictures are accurate. Congregating takes place in the ample outside areas that are surrounded by beautiful flowers (carefully tended to be the hosts). The kitchen is very nice - separate from the main sleeping accommodation. An outside seated dining area is adjacent (with great views). And then there is more than one area to just sit and admire the view. Our kids are 11 and 13 years old. We likely spent less time outside, in the evening, just chatting than we might have, if we'd been with an all adult group. Mosquitos are the only culprit, appearing in the evenings. This is true of many wonderful spots that we visit in Italy in summer time. In the main sleeping area, there are two very nice bathrooms and three ample sized bedrooms, plus a room with a single bed. There were tvs in each of these rooms. The views look down on one particular bay that is today only accessible by boat. The property is actually one of three on the lot. There are three living areas, on different levels, within the core building. Each then has its own set of gardens. The design is very well done. This is the uppermost property. The owners live in the middle. And there is another rental on bottom. There is a lot of privacy - but you are not isolated. Having the owners downstairs was more of a plus than a minus. They absolutely gave us our space and were available if we had a need (e.g. ensuring a taxi showed up at 6 a.m. to get us to the ferry). There is some good swimming within 10-15 minutes walking. These are accessed by climbing down steps. These spots include the famed Natural Piscine. You can rent beach equipment there if you want, or just climb into the water. These are really rocks, rather than sand beaches. And they are very fun. The water is magnificent. The bus to the main port (Ponza or Porto) runs from within yards from outside this rental property. It allows you to get up and down the island very quickly. Beyond the port, Forna is the main other area for visitors to stay on the island. It's a nice spot. There are some restaurants. We explored walking further north and found some great spots. Summary: this island and this property are about relaxation. The property is as it looks. Coming back to Ponza, we would love to return to this property.

Great location and well-maintained property

After a stay in a ropey apartment in Rome, I was so happy to arrive at Cala Inferno. Not only are the views great but Giuseppina and Gaetano clearly work hard to look after this property. It was spotless and all the beds were made up beautifully. Good bed linen and towels and even five beach towels for us as requested. The four bedrooms are all a good size and the ensuite bathroom for the master bedroom has a fantastic rainfall shower that I just wasn't expecting. Our kids loved popping to the shops on their own and we all enjoyed the nice walk down to the natural swimming pools. Good choice of restaurants nearby too. Only negative which has nothing to do with the property is the single choice of car rental agency, who charge a lot for laughably battered cars. Next time we'll take taxis or bring our own car. All in all a great apartment with family-friendly and caring owners, grazie mille e speriamo di tornarci presto!

Confermo splendida villa sul mare

Padroni di casa cordiali e disponibili per qualsiasi bisogno e consiglio al cliente. Pulizia dell’appartamento e non solo ottima. La confortevole cucina esterna con a fianco la terrazza sul mare per le belle serate e non solo, le tre camere ed i due bagni con altra splendida terrazza, rendono l’appartamevento ottimale anche per coppie di amici. La villa è facilmente raggiungibile anche con mezzi pubblici. Le foto seppur bellissime tuttavia non rendono merito alla effettiva bellezza della villa e della sua collocazione. I padroni di casa coccolano i loro clienti per rendere il soggiorno il più piacevole possibile. Tante parole non basterebbero a descrivere Ponza e la villa. Va provato e basta.

More Beautiful than is Possible

The views from the house are more beautiful than is possible to translate into photographs. Images don't do this place justice. The clear blue water stretches to the horizon, the water sparkles and in certain light, even from way up, you can see to the sea floor. The lights of Ponza sparkle at night and the lighthouse sends beams out across the water, but you are away from the bustle of the port and in a quiet spot that is all your own. The outdoor kitchen is perfect and a lovely spot to prepare food, but the outdoor dining area makes this house really special. As does the terrace outside the apartment upstairs. We sat many beautiful nights at the candlelit table and drank limoncello with the light fading at sunset or the moon reflecting off the water. (It is also a thrill to spot the house up on the cliffs of Cala Inferno as you venture around the island by boat.) While this is a place you rent for the outdoor space, and while the outdoor space makes this house more amazing than the most expensive Ponza hotel suite, the house itself is clean and bright, the beds are adequately comfortable, AC works very well, lots of closet space, two bathrooms are spotless, and all the windows latch open to let in the breeze but have retractable screens to keep out the mosquitos. There is a small fridge in the main entry room in which to keep water etc., and towels are provided, though it would have been nice to have a second set available for longer stays. (Bring your own beach towels!)The house is perfectly situated across the street from the nearest bus stop, and up the way from various alimentari, pastry and coffee shops, a great bar, etc. If you don't want to wait for the shuttle, taxi drivers in the port all know the villa and it is very easy to get home that way as well. Gaetano and his family were so very helpful, can arrange to clean the apartment for a fee during your stay, and were so kind to me when I fell ill. We are very grateful to them for making our stay so wonderful.

Vacanza bellissima!

è stata la nostra prima volta sull'Isola di Ponza. siamo rimasti colpiti dalla bellezza del mare e di tutte le sue insenature/calette. Purtroppo il tempo non ci ha permesso di godere a pieno la vacanza, costringendoci a tornare in un futuro spero non troppo lontano! per quanto riguarda la casa, le foto non rendono l'idea di quello che si prova sedendosi sullo sdraio con uno sfondo del genere, a bere un caffè di prima mattina o un prosecco la sera (consiglio entrambi)! La casa è confortevole, ampia, pulita e silenziosa.....ma la differenza lo fa l'esterno e lo spettacolo che vi si presenta appena mettete la testa fuori casa! I proprietari sono molto gentili e disponibili. Presenti ma riservati! Consiglio vivamente sia a famiglie con bambini che non.

vista spettacolare e privacy

Sono molti anni che vengo a Ponza e non avevo mai trovato una tale cura nello stile. I suoi punti di forza sono senz'altro le terrazze private con vista spettacolare. Il tutto é immerso nel verde, assenti i rumori della strada provinciale che però è a pochi passi di distanza, con bus e negozi di ogni tipo. Volendo essere particolarmente pignoli, l'unico neo per una persona con il sonno leggero potrebbe essere la nave cisterna che attracca e opera proprio lì sotto, cosa comunque risolvibile chiudendo le finestre e accendendo i condizionatori. Per la media delle case ponzesi un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

SUPER!

Très belle villa avec une vue imprenable. Maison très bien entretenue, spacieuse, propre et accueillante. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable d'autant en plus que la maison est très bien située au calme mais aussi proche des commerces et arrêts de bus .... posizione stupenda, vista mozzafiato. Curata nei minimi particolari con gusto e praticità a cominciare dai fiori che la circondano. Praticamente unica come sono unici i proprietari, gentilissimi , discreti, sempre disponibili ai consigli utilissimi per conoscere al meglio l'isola. Nel corso della vacanza sono passato da un semplice rapporto commerciale a un'amicizia che spero aumenti. Vacanza indimenticabile,collocazione stupefacente, persone indimenticabili. Da non perdere.

Fantastica

La villa sorge in una posizione unica con vista mozzafiato del porto di Ponza. Spettacolare il panorama dal gazebo e dalla terrazza. Le camere e i bagni sono grandi e confortevoli, puliti e ben arredati, curati in ogni particolare; apprezzabile il servizio Wi-Fi e l'aria condizionata. A pochi passi da casa un supermercato, bar, farmacia, pizzeria,fermata del bus... I proprietari, Giuseppina e Gaetano, sono persone squisite, gentili e assolutamente discrete, ma sempre presenti per qualsiasi esigenza. L'ambiente è ideale per una vacanza tranquilla e rilassante.

Una villa favolosa in un'isola magnifica

Non capita così frequentemente di trovare una sistemazione che racchiuda in sé tutto quello che desideri per una vacanza all'insegna dei paesaggi, della quiete, del confort, della pulizia, tutto curato nei minimi dettagli e accompagnato dalla gentilezza discreta del proprietario della casa, sempre disponibile e attento a provvedere alle più piccole necessità. La location è di una bellezza quasi imbarazzante, ed il panorama che si gode dalla "sala da pranzo" è veramente mozzafiato. Godibilissima la cucina abitabile e perfettamente attrezzata (per le eventuali serate quando il vento di Cala Inferno decide di tenerti compagnia); nonostante la posizione isolata tutti i servizi e i negozi sono a 3 minuti a piedi dal cancello di casa, le tre camere da letto assolutamente confortevoli con comodissimi letti, insomma tutto assolutamente perfetto. Inoltre la presenza costante del bus per il porto rende assolutamente superfluo (anzi sconsigliato) il trasporto sull'isola dell'auto. Insomma, esperienza da ripetere assolutamente!!

Casa paradisiaca a Cala Inferno

Abbiamo trascorso quattro giorni bellissimi a Ponza località Le torna in una bellissima villa a strapiombo sul mare di Cala Inferno a Ponza. La casa e' magnifica tenuta benissimo , pulita e accogliente. Comoda per 7/8 persone, i servizi ampi e funzionali. I terrazzi sono impagabili per comodità e vista. I proprietari gentilissimi e disponibili. La cucina è uno spettacolo....Il Rapporto qualità prezzo e 'decisamente interessante. La consiglio vivamente.

Very rarely does reality exceed expectation

This property delineate;y must be the or one of the top 5 locations on delightful Ponza. The view is magnificent east and down towards the port and 100 meters away from your front gate are magnificent sunset views and a walk down to some of the best swimming on Ponza. Gaetano, his wife son and daughter were warmly welcoming and we bridged language gaps without too much difficulty. For those wishing an alternative to the business of the port La Forna offers a great quite but still fun alternative with good markets, restaurants and bakery. The lay out is odd but workable in this large villa that has been subdivided dining, kitchen and a larger terrace reached by outside stairs, bedrooms 3 plus one den/single bed up. Spotlessly clean and maintained inside and out. A closed interior stairwell from the residence below could use some insulation to reduce hearing conversations from below. Easy but crowded bus connection to the port but we rented a car. We were there just before I had knee surgery which was a challenge, there are steps up from the road, down to the villa and then up to the bedrooms. Not usually a problem but challenging for anyone with reduced mobility. magic place, wonderful people, characterful island with amazing water and boating. Thank you Gaetano we hope to return!! Paul

Gentile Gaetano e Signora. Grazie per aver condiviso con noi parte della vs splendida villa. Complimenti e a nome di tutti noi per funzionalità e bellezza, e grazie per l'accoglienza e il calore. Siamo stati benissimo, le foto rispecchiano quanto e quello che promettevano senza poter dir che chi viene nella vs villa trova anche voi e la vs cortesia: fondamentale per chi arriva! una splendida villa in uno dei luoghi più belli dell'isola e vicini a quelle calette e siti raggiungibili anche a chi come me ama andare a fare una nuotata alle 7 di mattina! Emozionante aver avuto per 2 settimane con la luna sul mare in vista dal gazebo ....altro che Chiaia di Luna! Consiglio di andarci come noi in periodi di luna crescente !! paola francesco fernanda giorgio chiara e il ns piccolo-grande Gabriele .

Un posto da paradiso a Cala Inferno a Ponza

Per la nostra prima volta a Ponza con degli amici avevamo scelto Villa Inferno attirati anche dalla foto del terrazzo con tavolo rotondo affacciato sul mare, e la realtà non ci ha deluso: sia da questo terrazzo, sia da quello delle camere lo spettacolo che il mare di Ponza ci offriva ci ha emozionato ogni giorno. La casa, moderna, pulita e ben attrezzata, immersa in un giardino traboccante di fiori, ha regalato al nostro gruppo (7 adulti) un soggiorno davvero piacevole e non dimenticheremo le serate sul famoso terrazzo del tavolo rotondo, complice una luna piena straordinaria. E' in una posizione ideale, assolutamente tranquilla, facilmente raggiungibile per i parametri di Ponza (ma quanti gradini ha quest'isola...), ma se si esce sulla strada di Le Forna, a 50 metri ci sono supermercato, bar, chiesa, pizzeria... Un ringraziamento e un abbraccio di cuore a Giuseppina e Gaetano, proprietari discreti ma disponibilissimi, che ci hanno fatto sentire in casa di amici.

la più bella villa di Ponza

La vista di Villa Cala Inferno è favolosa, Gaetano ha fatto una nuova cucina bellissima e funzionale. Internamente c'è tutto, zanzariere, climatizzatori, camere spaziose, letti ortopedici, asciugamani di tutte le misure, wi-fi e via dicendo. Credetemi è perfetta e il fatto che stia a le Forna è ancora meglio perché fuori dal caos del porto di Ponza. Ve la consiglio altamente e poi Gaetano e Giuseppina sono due splendide persone che abitando accanto vi aiutano per qualsiasi scelta. Un abbraccio a Gaetano e Giuseppina e un arrivederci a presto.

SPLENDIDA VILLA CON SPLENDIDA VISTA MARE

Riduttivo scrivere splendida villa con vista mare anche la vista è meravigliosa. Siamo stati una settimana io mia moglie Daniela e 2 amici presso la villa a Cala Inferno presso l'isola di Ponza, che dire le stanze pulitissime e come nuove, i proprietari discreti ma sempre disponibili alle ns. richieste. Siamo stati talmente bene che non siamo mai andati al ristorante, abbiamo sempre cucinato e mangiato in quello che potrei definire il paradiso e cioè il gazebo con il tavolo in marmo dove si cenava e si beveva qualcosa in santa pace e con una vista "spaziale". Sicuramente ci torneremo e lo consiglio a chiunque voglia passare delle vacanze in relax. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Fabrizio

Splendida vacanza

La casa é splendida, ben organizzata e dotata di tutti i confort. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e disponibili e la vista di cui si puó godere dalla terrazza é mozzafiato. Superiore a qualsiasi aspettativa. Torneremo sicuramente.
