Ocean House 1906 er en 3 værelses 3 bad hjørne vest enhed placeret på 9. sal med udsigt over den Mexicanske Golf. Granit bordplader i køkken og badeværelser.
Det store soveværelse har en konge, andet soveværelse har en dronning og kløft side soveværelse tilbyder en kingsize-seng. De levende område har en fuld størrelse sovesofa. Slap af og nyd billedet perfekt stranden udsigt fra balkonen. Uanset om det er for en kort weekend eller en lang uge, vores Condo har hvad du søger!

Ocean House I ligger i gåafstand til seafood restauranter, butikker og Gulf Shores Public Beach (men du kan også gå lige uden for denne Condo og på stranden). Der er mange golfbaner i området med praktiske satser.

Good location but not worth the money spent

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great. However, we were 30 mins early to check in and were rudely told we had to wait. Once we got into the unit in the kitchen it looked like it was thrown together. The kitchen cabinets over lapped and would not close and the appliances didn’t fit properly. In one of the bathrooms the shower head was spraying onto to ceiling and as you showered parts of the ceiling would fall on you. One of the bedrooms was missing a lot of its blinds. It seemed very dirty. The elevator went out several times during the stay.

Great place

This is an awesome condo. It could use some minor repairs, but it was well stocked and has plenty of room. We loved the short walk distance to the beach.

2024 family trip

Loved the pool and the location.. check in was easy and staff and security there was great.. loved having 3 bedrooms and 3 baths that was a plus...great location but the condo could use some TLC..but was there 8 days and had a great time..yes i would recommend this place 😀❣️

Fantastic!!

Great stay at Ocean House, my only small complaint would be the dryer did not seem to work properly. Took forever for towels to dry. Nice condo, fast elevator, clean pool area.

First- I have pictures to post. This place is NOT worth the daily rate charged. You have to pay to park in the parking lot 10 a day. The condo needs A LOT of help not just tlc. Doors are falling off in the kitchen, stains and badly worn floors and stained carpet everywhere. One of the bathrooms have mold on the baseboards. Several electrical plugs in two of the rooms pulled out when we tried to remove plug. Also a plug in the middle bedroom came out as well. What a huge hazard. The binds do not work in the master, they are just hanging and don’t close. There were tears in the carpet in the master. The door does not have a security bolt. The sofa was completely wet when we got there and could not use for 24 hours. We had no other living room chair like shown, only the dinning chairs. The ceiling fan in the front bedroom does not work, others could not be adjusted for fear of them falling or the chain breaking. There was a stinch in the condo all weekend. This was such a disappointment. I feel VRBO really ripped us off on this one and I do book several times a year. I feel a refund of sorts are in order because this condo was grossly misrepresented.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The outdoor pool was heated and I loved the built in seating in the deep end. Short walk to the beach and the view was amazing. The beds were a little firm for my taste but not uncomfortable and the Jacuzzi tub was a pain to fill because only the shower head would run water but keep the curtain closed and the mess wasnt to bad. Overall the unit was comfortable and my family really enjoyed ourselves would absolutely book again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve stayed in this unit 3 or 4 times now over the last couple of years. It is not perfect but it is clean and cozy. The location is fantastic and Gulf Shores Rentals is super responsive via text or phone. We had a small maintenance issue with a bathtub but it was remedied within a couple hours of being reported. The only real complaint we have is that the satellite remote control was missing so we had to watch football in the bedrooms. A minor inconvenience though. We will definitely be back to Gulf Shores and will most likely stay in this unit that suits our family of 6 well.

needs some attention

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great view from the balcony, wonderful location, plenty of space, overall a delight. But the condo was a little tired looking and could use a little attention to detail. Only 2 garbage bags for a 3 bedroom condo housing 5 adults, 1 blow dryer, 1 roll of paper towels and no coffee filters. Kitchen pots and pans were sparse. Carpet in bedrooms was stiff and worn. Though we loved being there and are grateful for the space, if we choose this same condo next year, we would plan to bring more of the basics we would have expected to be there. also some of the kitchen utensils needed to be washed before using them.

Great beach front condo

The condo itself could use some upkeep, but that did not hinder our experience. It’s a perfect location and beautiful views. There were some broken blinds, but maintenance came and changed quickly. There are large, white patches on the walls that need painted. The kitchen could use some updating. The stove is not level and had gaps around it and the counter. The utensils need to be gone through and updated. It was great to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Overall a great stay and would stay again. The condo itself just needs some updating and TLC.

Exactly as described

The location was perfect. Being right on the beach was awesome! We drank coffee on the balcony every morning and enjoyed the sunrise. Checkin was super easy and we had no problem getting a parking pass late at night when we arrived. The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were great for our family of teens. It was important that we had that many bathrooms. The condo could definitely use a refresh, but it was so functional for our group that we didn’t mind the older look of the place. We ignored the crooked countertops and cupboard doors and other issues with the kitchen. The location made up for it. Make sure you bring everything you need for your stay. They only provide about 2 days worth of paper products. The kitchen could use some cereal bowls and wine glasses too. Make sure to bring your own. Read the fine print of what exactly is included. I was very happy that I had brought my own spices and condiments. Don’t forget beach stuff, tide pods, dishwasher tabs, garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. There is a Walmart 10 mins away if you forgot anything.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo unit was slightly below average. A few complaints. First, this condo requires you to buy a $30 parking pass to park your car after you have already spent the money to stay. I find this egregious. Now, onto the actual unit itself. As far as space and rooms I was happy with the size of the unit. However, there were numerous places that needed to be addressed. There were many places that needed painted and touched up. Several blinds were in need of being replaced. The unit had several places that looked like an amateur handyman had tried to repair issues. Very shabby. Another complaint, the unit is opened by a physical key that if you lose there is a $50 replacement cost. Seems like a money grab. What not just update the lock to a keypad like 90% of the units there. Now to the positives. The condo location was convenient. They offered ice onsite for $4 a bag. The pool was nice for kids as it was zero entry on two sides.Overall, the condo was acceptable just don’t have high expectations on the aesthetics of the unit. Of all the units I have been in, this one needed the most work visually I have been in. However, it served a purpose adequately.

This corner unit proved to be great for our group of 4 (we started with 5 but it could still comfortably accommodate 6). We loved the extra balcony view the corner unit provided. The walk to the beach was nothing! So close to our reserved chairs. The pool area is also nice, neat shape and love the zero entry. Property did not seem crowded, even though the lot was full. Parking pass was easy to reserve at the gate house--40 for up to 7 days. It was a pain to have to stop at a different location to pick up a packet with keys in it to then go to the rental unit (other places I've stayed had a door code entry system). Communication was very fast--I messaged through the VRBO app and the reply came through like a text on my phone very quickly. I did have to ask about check in and check out instructions because I didn't receive an email stating such from the renter; but as I said, I got fast and kind replies.The unit itself, as other reviews have stated, could use fixing on some things: beach view bedroom blinds, living area balcony door doesn't lock, ceiling messed up in master shower, kitchen cabinet doesn't close right, no remote for DVD player, unit door has latch but no ball for added security (still has working deadbolt though). All that to say, you come here to sleep and shower so for the price, it was just what we needed! On the beach and a place to rest! Would recommend if you aren't bothered by minor issues.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Super easy to rent through. Great location and view. Not on a busy street. Loved how close we were to the beach. We are thinking about booking again for the spring! My only negative comment is the blinds in one of the bedrooms, a few were missing causing the room to get very bright as soon as daylight hits. My son would wake up super early.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We could not use canopies in front of Ocan House this year. That was very inconvenient and forced us to rent chairs. Condo was great as usual

Due to beach erosion, the use of canopies and tents had to be prohibited this year to allow everyone space to enjoy the beach. We are sorry that was an inconvenience. If someone wishes to not rent chairs, they are free to bring their own chairs. There is a beach restoration project set to begin in November of 2022. -Gulf Shores Rentals

Family Vacation 2022 Was amazing!

The only complaint is the pool was dirty and in need of some painting but overall it was a great vacation at a great location.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve always stayed at Ocean House the last two years and we love it.I know it may be an older building , but 1906 was dirty, needs some work done to it. The sheets were put on upside down a d were stained. The plugs were loose in the wall. It’s a great location, but just needs some fixing up some.

Review of our stay at ocean House.

We had a great time on our vacation. The condo was as described. I only have a few complaints, the shower in the master bathroom does not work. The air conditioner is not as cool in the master bedroom as it is in bedroom #1. The price that we paid for the cleaning fee. I feel like it could have been cleaned better. Thanks for a great time.
