We had a relaxing, 7-night stay in Colmar. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and quiet in a fabulous location. There were endless eating and shopping options, as well as the Covered Market, scenic canal, and a convenient grocery store nearby. We walked everywhere... to multiple museums, lovely parks, and even a winery in town. If you have a car, the sheltered parking place is invaluable. The living room had the most comfortable reclining chairs and seating. The kitchen was well stocked. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was large. There were only two of us, but the apartment could comfortably fit a couple children with the futon in the living room. The host gave us his cell number, in case of any issues or questions. We did exchange texts several times during our stay. He did try his best to help connect our Samsung Tablet to the internet, but we were never successful. Netflix worked, but inevitably we had buffering by the end of the movie. The host's mother was lovely, and she showed us how to use the washing machine ( which requires multiple spin cycles), and where the parking spot, garden and refuse bins were located. The building and grounds are quite private and even require a clicker to open the property's large iron, entry gates which close around 8pm. We appreciated the bottle of white wine and delicious bundt cake that greeted us upon arrival. You will enjoy your stay in this quaint, ground floor apartment.
