Beautiful house with fantastic view

The house is really beautiful with a fantastic view over the Atlantic. The communication with "Our Madeira" was very friendly and the starter kit we found at our arrival was a nice surprise and very helpful for the first day. Absolutely recommendable!

Vacances Madère

Jolie maison bien équipée et avec quelques produits alimentaires et produits ménagers à disposition à l’arrivée, ce qui est appréciable. Vue sublime sur l’océan, dommage que des chiens aboient régulièrement la nuit et qu’il y ait des travaux bruyants la journée.Nous regrettons d’avoir payé 140 € en cash qui nous ont été réclamés pour chauffer la piscine alors que c’était inutile.

La villa du coucher de Soleil

Emplacement idéale pour les visites de Ile, calme, maison fonctionnel, literie confortable. Radiateur dans les chambres appréciable pour les nuits fraîches. Vue exceptionnelle. Panier d'accueil au top. Wanda est super gentille et la récupération des clefs dans une boîte à clefs est un plus pour les arrivée tardive. Nois reviendrons avec grand plaisir..

Schöne Wohnung, traumhafte Lage, beheizter Pool (sehr wichtig, wenn Ihr nicht im Hochsommer in Madeira seid!). Lediglich die Verdunklung in den Schlafräumen war nicht zufriedenstellend. Dass man in Portugal keine komplette Verdunklung hat und mit dem Tageslicht es hell wird, ist okay. Aber selbst Nachts kam zu viel Helligkeit rein. Das war aber das einzig störende.

Einfach wundervoll! Tolle Villa! Traumhafter Ausblick! Klasse Pool!

Wir hatten einen wundervollen erholsamen Aufenthalt in der Pool-Villa in Calheta! Toller Pool, perfekt mit Kindern, traumhafter Ausblick, ruhige Gegend! Das Haus ließ keine Wünsche offen, Service Dame Wanda war für Rückfragen jederzeit ansprechbar und Mängel (Geschirrspüler funktionierte bei Ankunft nicht) wurden sofort behoben! Neuer Geschirrspüler innerhalb eines Tages am Wochenende! Dankeschön Wanda! Kommunikation mit Agentur immer freundlich und zeitnah, auch am Wochenende! Fragen zur Coronasituation wurden ausführlich beantwortet! Vielen Dank Linda und Norberta! Insgesamt alles super! Würden in der Villa auf jeden Fall nochmal Urlaub machen! Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt!

Toller Meerblick

Schönes und geräumiges Haus in toller Lage mit einzigartigem Meerblick, sowohl vom Garten/Pool, als auch vom Wohnbereich und zwei der drei Schlafzimmer aus. Calheta mit dem Sandstrand ist nur 5 Autominuten entfernt. Und durch die vielen Tunnels sind sowohl Funchal, als auch Rabaçal und der Westen Madeiras in einer halben Stunde mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wir haben die Südwestküste ausgiebig erkundet und mehrere Wanderungen, insbesondere Levada-Wanderungen unternommen.

Very comfortable House with fantastic view

The house is fantastic. Very comfortable furnished. Very Space. Good service with a welcome package with coffee, milk, water, wine, cheese, toast and butter so that the next supermarkt visit can wait. Really can recommend a stay here. Thanks to Vanda for her assistance.

Ferias Em Familia

Gostamos muito da nossa estadia na Casa Amaro. Tem excelentes condiçoes para uma familia com crianças passar excelentes dias de descanso com conforto. Tal como os outros clientes, tambèm nos queixamos muito do latir constante dos caes que incomoda imenso o descanso, mas ....... que fazer? È algo incontrolàvel. Foi a segunda vez que recorremos a este tipo de alojamento para ferias e recomendamos a todos. Deixamos os nossos cumprimentos Familia Castro

Casa Amaro Mar

Casa Amaro Mar is a very nice and fresh holiday house. The beds are good and most of the things you need to make your food is there. There were sometimes not enough hot water for the shower. We thought that a car was necessary. Over all we liked the house and the sorrundings. The staff that we met were very nice and did everything they could to make our stay as pleasent as possible. We will absolutely visit Madeira again and rent from this Company. Family Lundin Gothenburg, Sweden

Understated luxury with amazing views

There is no doubt that the description of the property on the website is accurate. The views are amazing, the villa beautifully appointed and surprisingly easy to find. There is a definite wow moment when you walk in. The villa was very clean and well presented with a stack of towels neatly laid out on every bed. We were greeted with friendly professionlism and our questions answered succinctly - even when it came to a late evening telephone call to find out how the hob worked! The welcome gift of bread, milk cheese and wine was greatly appreciated, although it would have been nice if there were some hand soap provided. The pool is beautifully clean and just big enough. There are ample sun beds provided. The kitchen is well laid out and of high quality with plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses. Wi-fi is plenty fast enough and seems to work throughout the villa. The deck that surrounds the pool could do with a bit of attention however. It is somewhat bouncy underfoot and there was a broken slat when we were there. The village is the perfect place from which to explore this stunning island. Make sure you get a diesel car if you are hiring. The very steep hills can easily stump a small engined petrol car. The supermarket in Cahleta is an easy 10 minute drive away. It is surprisingly well-stocked for a small supermarket and open til 10 every day. All the staff I spoke to had some English. Remember to have change for parking. Only a couple of downsides. The steep side road up to the villa is pretty hairy to negotiate and could really do with a barrier. Satellite TV is provided but you should be aware that there are only a handful of English channels. There is a dvd player in the second reception room but no dvds to play on it. If you have kids, you might want to consider packing some. Double glazing would be a bonus too as the constant barking of dogs throughout the night really disturbed our sleep. Obviously this is not the fault of the owners and many people may not find it an issue, but it drove me crackers! All-in-all though, this is a tremendous place to stay and one to be recommended.
