We had a wonderful stay in this property. We had everything what we needed for our one week vacation. Apartment was clean and everything was nicely organized. Luisa and Jose provided very clear instructions to us. We really enjoyed staying there.

wonderful place to stay

very comfortable, exceptionally well equipped apartment.The hosts were extremely helpful and obviously wanted us to enjoy our stay, which we did. Clearly one of the best choices of apartment .

They met us at the apartment and reviewed all aspects.They consistently replied to our questions in a very timely manner!The apartment is very well kept, immaculate and in a wonderful location!They are very kind and even left some snacks and a bottle of wine.Would stay again and highly recommend!

Lovely property, great location

The apartment was exactly as advertised. It is very central, so everywhere within the central city was within walking distance. Good internet, free cable TV (including CNN and many other English-language news channels. Fully equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location. Quiet, light flat with good shutters for blackout. Plenty of hot water and spacious shower. Absolutely everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Comfortable bed. All was clean and thoughtfully prepared.

An amazing stay in an amazing location

The property owners were very helpful and welcoming. The apartment is beautiful, clean, wonderfully equipped AND in a great location. Viana experience

The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable,very well equipped and a welcoming bottle of wine and chocolates was a nice touch.The apartment is very well situated for exploring the city and there is plenty to see there and the surrounding area.Luisa and Jose were lovely hosts, very friendly and helpful,we thank them for making our stay so enjoyable.

Localizacao perfeita, servico extraordinário

Ever since I found out about this flat, I use it for my visits to Viana do Castelo. It's perfectly located in the city centre, but in an area with not too much noise and with parking available nearby. You can't miss the bakery down the flat, amazing pastries and great breakfast options. Check-in and check-out was seamless and the house was impeccably clean. It's a simple, great flat that I would recommend to anyone visiting Viana.

Little Gem

Emily’s Apartment, was perfect for our seven day stay in Viana do Castelo. Luisa and José met us upon our arrival and directed to our parking space. They also aquatinted us to the apartment. The bottle of wine and chocolates were much appreciated. The apartment is very clean and well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Most anything you want to see or do is a short walk once you step outside the door. I highly recommend this little gem to anyone staying in Viana do Castelo.

Excellent Stay in Viana do Castelo, PT

We stayed 2 weeks in Luisa and Jose's apartment. This was by far the best equipped/furnished apartment we have stayed in. Absolutely everything was there that one could possibly ask for. Luisa and Jose are extremely nice and helpful and easy to communicate with. They met us in front of the apartment and Jose was so kind to carry our bags up to the 2nd floor (back down and the end). Since we were on an extended trip we had 2 large suitcases. The apartment was all we hoped for and the wine, chocolate and nuts they had waiting for us were much appreciated. The apartment is in an excellent location right in the old town, a short walk to everything. If you just want to stay in town a car is not needed since groceries and butcher shops are practically next door. We did many day trips from there and very much enjoyed that area of northern Portugal.

Great!

My wife and I stayed at Jose and Luisa's flat for four nights and really enjoyed it. The flat has a nice, central location in Viana do Castelo. It's a great place for a couple or a couple with a child to stay. The flat is immaculate and it's quiet at night. The living room and each bedroom have individual heating/cooling equipment and we used the heating equipment in February for the rooms we occupied. We used the kitchen to make our own breakfast and dinner, and it was easy since the flat has a full complement of quality cooking pans, plates, and utensils. The appliances are all Bosch and Siemens - really nice equipment. There is no parking really in the town center, so you'd be saving yourself a lot of hassle by using Jose and Luisa's parking space across the street. The additional price was very reasonable, and the parking space was really large. Viana is a great base from which to explore the Minho area of Portugal. Finally, Jose and Luisa met us at the flat to let us in, give us the keys, and give us an orientation of the flat and how things worked. This was really helpful and we appreciated the time they spent with us (including walking us through the parking). Finally, they left us fruit and some wonderful Pasteles de Nata desserts as a welcome gift. We really appreciated this. We recommend this flat - it's a great choice. Nous sommes très satisfaits. Superbe appartement très bien équipé, impeccable, situé idéalement au milieu du centre historique pour tout visiter à pied. Un gros plus, le parking couvert sécurisé et facile d'accès en face de l'appartement. Accueil chaleureux de Luisa et José qui ont pensé à tout pour un sejour sans soucis...

Petit nid douillet et très bien équipé

Bon emplacement pour profiter de la vieille ville, vraiment très agréable et au passé historique très riche.Bien situé pour profiter des plages magnifiques ou l’on peut faire de longues marches.Viana est un bon emplacement pour s’initier le nord du Portugal.Nous remercions Emily et son mari pour toutes leurs attentions et nous excusons pour les clés.

El apartamento está muy bien situado, en pleno casco antiguo, en una zona muy tranquila y cerca de todo. Cuenta con todas las comodidades y detalles necesarios haciendo la estancia muy agradable. Fantástico apartamento y unos anfitriones maravillosos

El apartamento de Luisa y José ha sido todo un descubrimiento. La casa superó todas nuestras expectativas. Es cómoda, limpia, amplia, muy bien ubicada, cuanta hasta con el último detalle. Luisa y José son muy atentos, en la llegada, durante toda la estancia y en la marcha atendieron cada una de nuestras necesidades. Muy recomendable.
