Great place

The condo was a great place to stay. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The multiple door codes were a hassle, but once we got it down it was no problem.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was OK. The window were stuck and even if we could open them, there were no screens. It was in June so it was very warm! No TV instructions, but several remotes.

This place is adorable, extremely clean and in the perfect location ... but the mattress was very hard and so uncomfortable. The windows do not have screens on them, so having windows fully opened was also not really an option as there were hummingbirds, bees, etc right outside.

Great place location

Everything was actually perfect! Extremely clean. If you’re looking for ultra new/modern then this place isn’t for you. Has older furniture kitchen table but it was really quant and clean. Other than a light bulb over stove needs replacing I can honestly say it was one of the best locations that you can walk /take bus to every thing. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location!

The condo was clean and perfect size for my husband and me. It had a large comfortable king size bed and two full bathrooms, full kitchen and living room with fireplace. It was warm during the week we stayed (high 70’s), but the condo cooled off quickly in the evenings with the windows open and using the fan in the closet. The noise from the restaurant below was only an issue around 11pm after we went to bed, however the loud fan drowned out the noise pretty well. This was what we expected and we will be back to stay here again.

Vail Village Ski Week

The location was fantastic and the condo was functional. The management company was nice. It was difficult to find. Directions would have helped as it is slightly tricky. The unit needs updating. Carpets are old. Dishwasher does not work well. Dishes do not fit in the dishwasher. Fridge door opens wrong way. Laundry coin operated in basement. Perfect for a couple of guys.

Our Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is nice inside and well kept. The description of unit is way off. First the instruction left by property manager was not very clear and should have had a map to make it easier to find. Walking around the village with a suitcase is very hard to do. The unit is very loud at night because it sits upstairs and just outside of two restaurants. The staff take the garbage out there and staff congregate there also to take brakes and smoke cigarettes it is very loud and smelly. On weekend it is very loud from restaurant downstairs. The unit does not have AC and gets quite warm at night even with windows open. No fans available and you can imagine how much nosey it is with windows open. Some of the windows are broken. We stayed over father's day weekend.

The space was great and well equipped. Frustratingly, the parking directions were incorrect on two counts. Directions indicate code *. But it was code #. The off hours number produced no people and when someone called back after several minutes, she didn't have the correct information either. On a lark we entered # and it worked. We advised the person from the management company. Too, the directions said you can park in any spot on the lower level. However, there are two spots that are reserved and not necessarily well marked ... faded hard to read paint on the cement and, if you drive through the space there is a sign that you can easily miss if you don't have a reason to go to the back of your car having already unloaded at the unloading zone.

That's the big positive of this spot. It's a little dated, but that's fine. The kitchen was nice, and it's handy it had laundry available in the basement. The negatives were that we couldn't get the hideabed to come out of the couch, and there isn't parking available unless you want to pay. They did reimburse some of our parking fees, which was nice. That being said, I'd stay here again, and our crew loved the LOCATION.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a nice condo in a great location. I rented from Vail MGT since we have had good experiences with them in the past. This time we had some issues that should not have happened and could be prevented by better management.The App is nearly useless since the information to enter the condo is incomplete. It took googling the lock manufacturer to learn how to unlock the door. The app just provided the code. Inside the condo was an info sheet with excellent instructions to open the door. Too bad we had to figure it out ourselves to we get to the instructions. Along the same line of bad management, the internet on the app did not work. After a few minutes wasted trying to make it work, I checked the info sheet and it had the correct internet information. The internet worked but at about the speed of dial up from the 90's. We did not need to laundry and could not have since the elevator was broken for our entire stay and it appears the only way to the laundry room is from the elevator. Otherwise, we enjoyed the condo and location.

Apt has no HVAC, Elevator was out of service for 3 out of our 6-night stay, suggested parking location was far and inconvenient. We parked at Sebastian and will send backup for parking cost. Given no HVAC, we had to open windows at night and tolerate noises from alley next to our bedroom and street noises from cars and trucks. Did not sleep well. Apartment was very hot during the day. I called your office and left a message; did not receive a return call. Bad experience.

Central location in the village for walking, eating, shopping. A 5-7 minute walk to the main gondola.The property is in a shared building with businesses and was quite difficult to find and access. Loading/unloading was challenging. If you have a vehicle, parking is not convenient - about 2 blocks away. Were it not for the concierge at the next door Sebastian Hotel, we would have never found the loading/unloading area nor the parking garage. We tried calling the reservation office but it was after hours and we never got a return call. Better directions are a must!The pool/hot tub is next door at the Sebastian which was nice and easy to access.Ground floor locker area was nice for equipment storage and dressing/undressing for the ski day.

Reviewer Comments: Once you find the mystery door entrance with treasure hunt clues from the management, the condo is comfy, clean, excellently located, but rather middle-aged. The bathroom fixtures are awful, like early '90's vintage, and the dishwasher is too. But there are 2 complete bathrooms, which is very convenient, and the king bed is quite comfortable. So is the furniture. Decor is rather old style Vail. Ski locker is very ample and convenient. Spacious for a couple.

Having access to the Sebastian amenities right next door was amazing. We used the hot tub almost every night. It was a longer walk then we were used to the mountain, so we rented a locker at the mountain, so we didn't have to walk in ski boots which worked out great since we have our own skins. I guess if you rent skis is a non issue. We will be back.

Great Condo Poor Location

Thqe condo is in a great area of vail but it backs up to Sebastian and a restaurant. very noisy at night, til 11 when quiet rules begin. The noise starts early with delivery trucks for restaurants. The wifi for TV was spotty. hard to watch TV. blurry or spinning donut. Bed was comfy.

Not What I Expected

The good: it is located right in Vail Village. The kitchen is nice. The bad: the owners need to buy a new mattress. It was old, hard and bumpy. We are active healthy people with no back problems. However, we both had achy backs in the morning and didn’t sleep well. The pillows need to be thrown away, they are so flat. The windows are not soundproof and we could hear even normal conversations outside the building as if they were in the room with us. This is with the windows closed. There is no view and the balcony is too small to sit on. It is right next to the Sebastian Hotel and they are doing major construction work on their spa and we heard drilling, sawing and pounding from 7 am to 7 pm. The couches are not comfortable. So overall we expected to come back to the unit to rest and relax but there was no place to relax! It felt awkward and cluttered. Very disappointed. The pictures are misleading.

Vail village

This property is tough to rate, but I think for me the negatives are too many. It’s a nice condo in the heart of Vail village. It sits above a restaurant that is very noisy late at night and the service entrance is right below the bedroom window. Every night at midnight I was awakened by loud staff and garbage being rattled around in cans. Next the bathrooms are ancient and need a serious makeover. The mattress is hard and not comfortable. Also the hot water for a shower ran out after 2 people use it consecutively. On the bright side the amenities at the Sebastian are great and there is a big ski locker. Kitchen fully equipped which was great for someone who wants to cook.
