We had a lovely stay in this very clean and quiet property. We had everything we needed including supplies left for us in the fridge. Lovely clean pool and excellent location 2 nice cafes around the corner, large supermarket 10 minutes walk and an easy 15 minute walk into Cascais.Hosts were away on holiday so never met them but would like to thank them for our wonderful holiday

It was exactly as advertised and more. The pool was fine although a bit on the cooler side. But the accommodation was perfect for what we were looking for. The bonus was Cascais itself which was super and the train to Lisbon of which we took advantage a number of times. The only issue was coming back late they had a tendency to have rail replacement bus. I cannot recommend the property enough. And the hosts were great. Saw us in and basically left us alone although they gave some great advice about local places.

Very charming traditional-style little backyard cottage with a shared (but private for you during your stay) garden and grass area along with pool (unheated so too cold to swim but pretty to sit next to). In a more urban area of Estoril / Cascais but that also means you can walk down to restaurants, the sea, etc. Hosts very friendly and even had welcome snacks, a few grocery items for us, and a bottle of wine; very nice. Overall good experience and great location for exploring Cascais!

This apartment has a quaint charm to it: a little outdated but I like this. It has everything you need for a comfortable holiday, including air con in the bedroom. The pool is a reasonable size and the cold dip is perfect in hot weather. You have the choice of 2 sunbeds, a table with bench in the shade and also an outdoor table and chairs if you wish to eat outside. The apartment is about a 15 min walk to the old town of Cascais and there is 2 large supermarkets close by the Lidl is excellent and the nearest..There is a wall and it's a bit uphill coming back, bit there are also box stops. Make sure your shoes have good grips! The pavement can be super! There is a good, affordable train service close by as well as good bus links, You are starting in a residential area, not a resort, just to be waste. The hosts were wonderful! They left a bottle of wine, cheese, ham and bread for us, when we arrived, which was a lovely thought. They were close by if needed, but never had our peace disturbed.

Fantastic apartment in amazing area of Portugal

Teresa and Miguel were so welcoming, as is their apartment, so homely with everything you need. The welcome food and drink they provided was incredible, and saved us going out after a days travelling, although the town us only a 20 minute walk and is a beautiful place with many bars and restaurants We had a lovely relaxing break

Love Cascais!

Everything about the casita was perfect. It has plenty of room with a living area, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. My husband and I especially enjoyed the swimming pool everyday after exploring Cascais. The owners were extremely nice and helpful. Great memories!

Highly recommend

Teresa and Miguel made us so welcome and we really appreciated the food in the fridge and kitchen. A really comfortable property in an excellent location. Clean and well-equipped. We particularly enjoyed the pool and little garden. Although the main house is close by it feels very private. We will definitely be returning for another visit. Thank you Teresa and Miguel.

Lovely stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and everything you could need has been thought of. The welcome goodies were much appreciated as we arrived quite late. We hardly used our hire car and caught the train to Lisbon and bus to Sintra . Shame the weather didn’t allow us to use the pool, so envy anyone who gets to use it . It is a 12 -15 mins downhill walk to Cascais and Lidl and a couple of authentic Portuguese restaurants are within a 5 minutes walk.

Very nice stay

The property was slightly unusual for me - essentially a “granny flat” in the garden in a nice suburban setting. Very central to get to Places by car. About 15/20 min walk (downhill) to sea front Cascais - slightly longer walking back. The swimming pool was a delight, small but just what’s needed to cool down and I used it daily. Nice secluded garden table to have breakfast at and also those zoom/teams meetings while away on business. Hosts friendly and obliging.

Teresa and Miguel were great hosts and allowed us early entry to the cottage which was much appreciated. They also supplied a generous welcome pack. The cottage is very well equipped although internally it is very dated. Quite a lot of traffic noise is noticeable whilst sitting in the garden. The cottage looks over the pool onto the back of the owners house. We were provided full private access to both pool and garden. 2 supermarkets within 10 minutes walk. Walkable to bus and train stations. We enjoyed our stay in Cascais and would recommend this rental.

An absolute joy!!

I booked my stay because I have a dear friend who lives close by. Because of the pandemic we have not seen eachother for a long time. The accommodation is amazing. Homely and relaxed. Teresa and Miguel are the most lovely hosts..I felt safe being a lone female but i also felt I had privacy which is so important to me. Spending time by the pool with a friend I can call family and exploring Cascais, Lisbon and Sintra was just the most wonderful experience..I shall definitely be back. Thank you so much Teresa and Miguel. I just wish the accommodation could accommodate for 3 as I would love to bring my sons next year.

Enjoyable stay

The little cottage was comfortable especially the beds. The sheets and towels very clean. The galley kitchen had pots & pans, cutlery etc. Also a selection of spices which was handy. The pool was great and my husband used it a lot. It was a bit cold for my liking. The pool is cleaned every week. The little garden was relaxing and calm. The location is great 10-15 mins walk into the centre, train station and bus stop. Very nice, safe and quiet neighbourhood. The owners are remarkable people. Very attentive and helpful. They left bread, milk, fruit, butter and wine in the fridge on arrival. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.
