Perfect Family Get Away

We loved our stay at Long Island. The house was very clean and well equipped for our family of five. The house manager was extremely helpful even during the busy holidays. We enjoyed watching the ocean on the porch and walking to the beach. It was also conveniently located in between our two favorite beaches -Deans Blue Hole and Gordons.

My holiday

The location was great and the house is beautiful, clean and big enough. The information about the use of wifi were useless and we had to update it after a talk with the caretaker

Beautifully situated 4-bedroom with lovely view

My husband and I enjoyed our recent stay in this spacious, well-kept home. It was more space than we needed! This would be a great option for a family or group stay. The location is convenient to Clarence Town, but very private. Two porches, upstairs and down, are wonderful spots to enjoy the ocean view. The path to the beach was a bit hard to find at first, but navigable and an easy walk from the house.

Beautiful Hideaway on a beautiful island

Beautiful property. Pretty isolated on top of the hill with a gorgeous view. House was well stocked. Plan to cook if you’re there in a Sunday morning. Upstairs room with the balcony is beautifully placed but A/C doesn’t reach all the way to the top. Needs a good comfortable bed instead of the blow up mattress and would be perfect. Caretaker was easy to reach and responsive.

Saved our vacation! Absolutely beautiful.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The home is even more beautiful than pictured, the views are unreal, the owner is kind and the manager is friendly and responsive. We were fortunate enough to move to this house after arriving to a different VRBO rental in LI and realizing it was drastically misrepresented and unsafe. We are so thankful that we were able to salvage what was left of our vacation in this special place. The top deck was the perfect spot for reading, watching occasional boats go by in the distance, and enjoying the breeze. We walked north along the shoreline until we got to the beach that is a secluded cove with beautiful rock formations. My family loved it!

Awesome vacation spot with beautiful views

Beautiful house overlooking the ocean. The house was clean and the kitchen spacious and well stocked. Appliances are all modern and up-to-date. There were plenty of good DVD movies to watch on the large TV in the evenings. The island is amazing and the people are the friendliest we have ever met! Got lost at night due to late arrival and the local people helped us find the house! Olan's recommendations for food were excellent! He even told us where to find fresh seafood to cook at home on his grill (lobster tails, Wahoo, burgers and the barracuda which we caught on our fishing trip!). We made great use of the porches, especially the 4 lounge chairs on the upstairs porch! We also rented Olan's vehicle which was very convenient and spacious (it was at the airport waiting our arrival). Went kayaking in Lockabar Harbor, cliff jumping at Dean's Blue Hole, swimming at Gordon's Beach and took a day boat trip with captain Francis. We hope to return in the future!

Amazing home and amazing view!

This house was just as advertised. They contact on the island for anything we needed was always available. Our contact was helpful with other things like fresh Bahama bread, where to go, and what to do. The beach is just a few minutes walk from the house. We would 100% stay at this house again.

New, clean, well stocked, very private.

We recently stayed here for a diving / fishing trip. The house is convenient to Clarencetown and the south-end of the island. It sits on a hill by itself, so it's very quiet and private. The house feels very new and clean. Everything worked well. It was well stocked with kitchen equipment, towels, etc. The owner bought a new BBQ grill just for our stay, which was very nice. The manager is very helpful. We have stayed in a lot of Bahamas rentals and this one is very well maintained and comfortable.

Perfect location, clean, spacious, and gracious

We feel really fortunate to have found this beautiful vacation rental. The location is second to none. We have stayed in many different areas on Long Island and this particular area is incredibly beautiful and convenient. We have found over the years that we enjoy the windward side of the island more than the leeward side. They are both beautiful but the windward side is bug free and offers incredible views and amazing wind.... not to mention the leeward side is only a few minutes drive away. We also prefer the southern end of Long Island and we enjoy going to Clarence Town Harbour & Lochobar Beach Gordon's and Lover's Beach and Galloway which are all nearby. This house is well-stocked and nicely furnished. It is very spacious and we enjoyed the fact that two bedrooms on the ground floor faced the ocean. It is also well situated high on a hill with 180 degrees of ocean views. The homeowners are incredibly gracious and accessible, and went out of their way to ensure that our trip met all of our expectations in every way. The house was clean and we could tell it was well cared for. We also rented the car that is available and it was perfect for getting around Long Island. The only bad thing about our stay was leaving. We would highly recommend this rental but please don't tell too many people because we would like to keep coming back :-)

Alluring Long island had me spell bound from my first visit. I have been vacationing on Long Island for over 10 years with my family. Amazing people, fresh seafood, exploring unspoilt beaches and water of Long Island is an incredible experience. As young children, my kids loved to comb the beaches, especially Dean's Blue Hole with its variety of marine life. As young adult with busy work life and college schedules they look forward to the peace and tranquility of Long Island. We all keep coming back.

Quiet Miley is a stone throw from Clarence town. Lots of green vegetation, with amazing ocean view from the house. Nice ocean breeze, birds, land crabs and passing boats. Extremely serene, relaxing, calming, with no cares in the world.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

Sitting on Miley Hilltop, the ocean view is breathtaking, I can just sit and stare all day long. It brings out the best creative thoughts in people.
