The owner was very available and helpful. Her property was beautiful and clean and laid out so well. Beds were comfortable and linen nice quality , kitchen was furnished with everything we needed. The location is terrific and close to everything. We had a beautiful time with family!

Perfect Beach Stay

Very clean and updated place. Close to beach and park with tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts. Great walking / trail around lake steps away.

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO in Lake Como, NJ and couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend the Christmas holidays with family. The home was extremely clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. The location was perfect—convenient, quiet, and ideal for a relaxing family getaway.The host was exceptional—very responsive, attentive, and genuinely caring about her guests’ experience, which made our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. Family get away

Our adult sons loved the proximity to the surf beach, Mariucci park and downtown spring lake. Updated roomy kitchen and baths make this a comfortable and convenient house.

Wonderful Summer vacation!

The house was perfect for our family. Cynthia was very thoughtful, the house was clean and exactly as shown in the photos. Great view of the lake, not too far from the beach. Perfect little beach get away, we hope to return again next summer!

Beautiful property and excellent experience, highly recommend

This home was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated in a beach theme. The neighborhood is close to both the beach and the lake. The property owner is incredibly nice and went out of their way to make we had all of the info we needed to feel comfortable in the home. We had a great time and would definitely return to this location.

Cozy Winter Rental

We stayed in the house during the winter and it was very cozy and welcoming. We were looking for a quiet house to study for our medical board exams and it was exactly that. Cynthia was very receptive to us reaching out, before and during our stay.

Family weekend

We had a very busy planned. The location of the house was central to where we needed to be. The home was comfortable, clean and spacious for my family of 5. The outdoor spaces were lovely. I wish we had time to enjoy all of it.

Clean, comfortable and cozy!

This house was absolutely superb! We had three generations staying here with plenty of space and amenities for everyone. The host has been incredibly thoughtful in creating the perfect vacation house - you very quickly start to feel right at home! The location was also fantastic- quiet, but still close to everything including the beach and beautiful lake nearby. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! Thank you, Cynthia!

Charming cottage with great front porch.

Cynthia was attentive and a wonderful host. The home was neat and clean. The front porch was a nice hang out. The home is located in Lake Como on the edge of Spring Lake and has more of a Belmar feel than Spring Lake. Kitchen is well equipped and beds were comfortable. Easy place to enjoy.

A very sweet, comfortable home.

Close to everything you need. A short walk to the lake and a few blocks further to the beach. The old fashioned front porch is perfect for sitting out in the evening and the deck out back is a great place to BBQ. All I can say is I felt just like home. Perfect!!

Lovely stay at the Great Escape. Perfect for the whole family! Close proximity to the beach and both Belmar and Spring Lake stores/restaurants. Right near the lake and a couple parks. Beautiful home with wonderful outdoor areas to enjoy (backyard & garden, two decks with plenty of shaded seating). Super clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Outdoor shower to rinse off sandy feet was awesome. Fantastic communication with the host — very accommodating. Would definitely come back for another stay.

The Jersey Shore

I highly recommend this rental property. Cynthia was great and answered all my questions. The house was beautiful and there was plenty of room for the 8 guests that stayed. The home was very clean and decorated so nice.The neighborhood was quiet and the walks around the lake and to the beach were amazing. Also everyone was so friendly.. and my grandson loved feeding the fish in the koi pond

A very great escape!

We loved the great escape! My husband, me, my toddler and my in laws stayed for a week. My daughter loved walking to the beautiful lake como accross the street to feed the ducks. Just a short walk or drive to Belmar beach which we went to everyday. The house has all the essentials you need, plates, silver wear, etc to make it a very comfortable stay. Cynthia is a very nice and helpful host. We look forward to returning - Thank you Cynthia!

This is a really nice home not a typical beach house rental

The house is immaculate and the owner great to work with. She even gives you a welcome basket and has your towels set out like a hotel. The weather was bad but we were here for Mother's Day weekend and she has lots of games and board games to keep yourself occupied with. If she wasn't already fully booked for the summer I would book. Maybe will come back in September. Thanks for a great weekend.

Good for All Ages!

This vacation home is just a short drive from everything that’s made the Jersey Shore famous - the beaches & waves, pristine boardwalks, fun-packed amusement piers, fine and casual dining. There are also two parks close to the house which our young grandchildren visited several times. Many destinations are within walking or biking distance, but the temperature index was in the high 90s for most of our week so we mostly drove. The house itself was impeccably clean, and accommodated all our needs. Because of the heat, we couldn’t utilize the outdoor gathering areas as much as we’d have liked, but I should note that the AC in the house had no trouble keeping up with the high outdoor temps, so we were quite comfortable. Each evening our grandchildren impatiently awaited the descent of darkness, which ushered in the nightly backyard display of dancing fireflies - to be chased, caught, and released amidst squeals of delight. Many thanks to our hostess for her thoughtful and much appreciated welcome gift!

Can't say enough about The Great Escape

I just spent an awesome week at The Great Escape. It was so relaxing. The location is great with anything you need nearby....restaurants, shopping, entertainment and best of all the great beach which we walked to every day. Loved going for a walk on the boardwalk in the early morning or evening and the best part was how close it was to walk to. There is a park a few doors away which is also really nice for people with kids. I can't say enough about how relaxing the front porch was with that great view of the lake and the breezes that floated your way all day. The retractable awnings were really nice if you wanted to be on the porch but not bake in the sun. The house was great and it far exceeded our expectations. The owner really goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need and on top of it we were so surprised with the gifts waiting for our arrival: wine and cheese, grapes, cute wineglasses with the house logo that were gifts for us to keep, and the fridge is stocked with cold water bottles. We have never received anything like that before at any other place we rented. We will definitely return next year and hope to add an additional week to either spend the week of Fourth of July there or else the last two weeks in June. It was a great time and very relaxing. Thanks for all you did to make it that way. We really appreciate it.
