One of the things we have learned in the 11 years we've owned our Wintergreen home and hosted VRBO guests is that we are only as good as our last guest feels we were, and in this case we clearly fell short. Retaining reliable cleaners is sometimes a challenge and we have recently been evaluating several new companies; the cleaning staff that prepped the home for this visit was unfortunately seeing the home for their first time and apparently missed that coffee maker, which is awful. The home is located in a forest and the bugs are typically at their worst in May & June; there were zero signs of ants this past weekend when I visited but I sprayed nevertheless and our property manager will assign pest control as needed. The deck is inspected at least quarterly and receives an annual board replacement and carpentry reinforcement in June or July of each year; this was just done this past weekend with significant attention paid to stiffen the railings, which have NEVER been unsafe. Lessons learned for us, and we always appreciate honest feedback so that we can improve our guest experience!

Hi Nikhil, we tested the hot tub and it worked fine. We will put instructions for guests for how to get the jets to work. The beds are all Queen size, and we have never had any guest complain about the mattresses. 2 of the beds have foam toppers. In fact, a couple of guests have stated how comfortable the beds are. We're glad the layout of the house worked well for your group. This is one of the features that appealed to us when we bought the house. Our property management company should have left ample supplies, and we have reminded them to double check the size of the group when setting up the house. We have amended our check in document to include our personal contact information so we can correct things like this immediately for our guests.
