Thank you for the 5-star review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the home and its views. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we truly appreciated the kind note you left in our guest book. Thanks for choosing our best little beach house—we’d love to host you again.

Great stay and a great location! The roof deck was very cool, the house was very clean and had all the things we needed for basic cooking/cleaning, and for the beach (towels, chairs, toys). Valancy was great as a host and overall we loved it and would definitely stay again.

Sun and Fun at Old Orchard Beach!

This house was beautiful and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation! We especially enjoyed the short walk to the beach everyday, and the roof top views! We would stay again if we are given the opportunity!

Amazing first vacation for our baby!

This was our 1 year old’s first vacation and it was amazing. Valancy and Steve could not have been more welcoming. The location was optimal and made everyday a beach day. Thank you so much for all of your thoughtfulness! We would LOVE to return!

Great spot!

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay here immensely! Valancy and Steve communicated with us perfectly prior to our arrival and upon our departure. The house had everything we needed and more and we loved all of the suggestions of things to do and places to eat! It was a wonderful way to celebrate her college graduation and my birthday!!

Beautiful summer beach week!

The house is beautifully decorated and Steve and Valancy have provided everything you could need at a beach home. - just a short walk to the beach too. We had spectacular hot summer weather and were able to see fireworks from the beach on July 4th. Enjoyed the week tremendously.

Relaxing adorable beach house!

This is our 2nd time renting this adorable home. Me and my sister law enjoyed our stay very much. Such a cozy and quiet place to relax, enjoy the beach everyday and activites close by in OOB. Owners made this place so accommodating. The short steps to the beach was awesome! They made us feel so welcomed and comfortable to enjoy our stay. I highly recommend this place for couples or friends to enjoy such a relaxing area. I will definitely be renting again in the future!

Quaint cottage located close to the beach and downtown.

Spent a week at this beautiful, little cottage. Our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter joined us for the first two nights. There was enough room for everyone. The rooftop deck was a big plus. The weather was nice and we enjoyed the beach, walking downtown to eat and shop. We played mini golf and walked the eastern trail. We also had time to relax and enjoy the views.

A fun escape

Charming beach getaway, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped and stocked for all our needs. Quick and easy access to the beach, stores, and restaurants. Old Orchard Beach has an Amtrak station and our son in Boston joined us. Fix a cup of coffee and enjoy the roof deck or the cute yard. The hosts are very good communicators, no surprises. Thanks for sharing your home for a restful weekend!

Wonderful place to stay in OOB!

Our family of four (two adults, kids aged 6 and 12) just spent a fantastic vacation at this perfect little house in Old Orchard Beach. We had never been to New England, and this house could not have been a better fit for us. The location was wonderful - so close to the beach and away from the busier section of OOB - but still easy to get to. The hosts were some of the most accommodating we've ever had through Vrbo. They truly want their guests to enjoy and embrace the area - and we took many of their recommendations! Also, easily one of the more well-appointed Vrbos we've stayed in. Quaint, cozy, clean...a great place to unwind and enjoy Maine! Highly recommend.

Excellent

Literally not a single complaint. We go to Maine (usually Wells) and the Cape. We tried this and it was a good choice. No bathtub for our 15 month old was a little challenging but we made it work. It’s also in the more quiet part of the main avenue which for us was preferred. Was very clean and organized. Owners have excellent communication.

Charming, cozy and very clean!!!

My best friend and I arrived in Old Orchard Beach from a very busy job in California, in need of "rest and relaxation". Old Orchard Beach is perfect. First of all it has one of the few sandy beaches in Maine. The town is a mile from the house and the house is footsteps away from the beach. The house has everything you need and was so clean and inviting. The owners are so kind and responsive. Steve actually called us to see if we wanted the window air conditioning put in. Our only very minor disappointment was that the fireplace is a nonworking fire place.....we didn't even notice. This is a perfect Maine coast getaway....close to Portland if you need a little city "fix"

Lovely to have guests from California again. It's amazing the number of great people we meet from all over the world through our vacation rentals. Our property description and amenity list doesn't include a fireplace. We mounted a flat screen TV to save space and built a faux mantle to make the wall a focal point and give us a bit more storage. We apologize for the "fake out". The unseasonably warm week had us break out the A/C earlier than ever this year. We are honored you have chosen to be our guests again next year at our lake property.

A small piece of Paradise!!

First I would like to say that the pictures shown are true to reality. This small chalet was very quaint, extremely well kept, and clean. The bar has been set very high for my next VRBO Rental..the organization, attention to details (extra AA Batteries for the TV remote), overall appeal is just adorable. Valancy and Steve the owners take pride in this little place, not a scratch on any walls...you would think that it is painted between guests, LOL... It is approximately 50 feet to the beach with a another house between this chalet and the morning sunrise. There is a Captains ladder in the bedroom which gives access to the rooftop deck which was enjoyed on several occasions. Overall we loved our stay. It was close enough to the centre of OOB to walk, yet far enough to have tranquility and peace. Cant wait to return to this gorgeous Beach and to lovely dinners in Portland.

Thank-you for taking the time to review your stay at Beachwalk Four. It was so nice to chat with you both on the beach. Steve and I were so pleased when you told us that you had spent time before we arrived thinking of constructive feedback and could not come up with a single thing that needed attention or improvement. We do strive to exceed our guests expectations and are thrilled that you found all to be in great order during your stay. We look forward to meeting again in Maine or Ottawa in the near future.

Wonderful house near the beach

My family of four stayed here for several days in late August 2018. It's a terrific property and we'll definitely return when we can fit in another trip to Maine. The term "charming" really fits the bill as the house features all sorts of adorable touches inside and out. The house is quiet, cozy, comfortable, and exceptionally clean with new appliances. Our 6'3" teen found the sofa bed a pleasant surprise, our tween daughter loved the snug second bedroom, and my wife and I were plenty comfortable in the master. The deck on top of the house is a great place to hang out with a partial view of the beach. Speaking of the beach, it's an easy 100ish foot walk from the house. The area is far enough away from central OOB to avoid the noise but close enough to bike or drive or long walk (along the beach if you like) for restaurants and such. Plus Portland is perhaps a 20-minute drive northeast and Kennebunkport about a 25-minute drive southwest, so the house is well situated for day trips around the area. .

Of the many choices you have in OOB, we are honored you chose our beach house for your stay during the Ironman triathlon. We are pleased your 6'3" son enjoyed the memory foam mattress on the sofa bed. After years of staying in vacation rental homes ourselves, we decided the investment in the memory foam mattress would be worthwhile. We do hope if your travels bring you back to Maine in the future, you will consider one of our properties for your stay. Our lake house is located west of OOB on the only trophy bass fishing lake in the state and offers a different, Maine, "the way life should be" experience. Warm Regards, Valancy & Steve

Steps from the beach

Our family of 5 stayed in this cute cottage at the end of August. We very much enjoyed the close proximity to the beach; we made several trips back and forth between the beach and cottage during the day. The cottage itself is well maintained and has just about every amenity covered, including things like cooking oil and spices. The owner was extremely friendly and communicative. She responded quickly to any questions I had and was very helpful. One aspect of the cottage to be aware of is that the master bedroom is open concept. There is no door. The stairs from the 1st level open to the master and the toilet/sink are in the same room, separated by a curtain. You must also pass through the master to get to the 2nd bedroom. This limits privacy, if that's important to you. Overall, it is a great option for OOB and I would recommend to friends.

Fantastic beach house for a small family or couple! Steps to the beach, water views from the top floor and rooftop deck. The whole house was so well stocked with everything we needed and more! Even beach towels and beach toys and a wagon to get everything to the beach. Great value for the location. Would absolutely stay again!

Merci!

Great little beach house

We had a great week. The house worked well for my family of four with two small children (4 & 8) sharing the second bedroom. It was very easy to get back and forth from the beach. The rooftop was a nice place to sit in the evening after my kids went to bed. It was well appointed with everything you would need. The only downside is it gets bright and sunny early in the morning, so not ideal if you’re looking to sleep in. We were able to darken the kids room by covering the windows though, so that helped with the early morning awakenings. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Great Stay!

My Wife and I had a wonderful stay. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. It is short walk (2-3 minutes) to the beach and a 20 minute walk to Old Orchard Beach. The roof deck was fantastic for morning coffee, reading and romantic dinners with view of the water. The cottage is recommended for families with small children. It would not be suitable for 2 couples as one of the bedrooms is within the other with an open half bath.
