- Gamle stenblok elegant restaureret. Nedsænket i det grønne landskab i Ragusa kan det rumme op til 14 + 2 personer. Hele ejendommen sikrer privatliv og afslapning for dem, der ønsker at nyde en forfriskende ferie, der nyder solen på Sicilien ved poolen. Villaen, der er bygget helt af sten, er arrangeret i to niveauer. I stueetagen er der det indbyggede køkken, spisestue, et badeværelse, stue med dobbelt sovesofa, 1 soveværelse med 2 enkeltsenge, 2 dobbeltværelser med eget badeværelse, hvoraf det ene er velegnet til handicappede gæster. Ovenpå er der 1 dobbeltværelser med privat badeværelse med udsigt over swimmingpoolen, yderligere 2 soveværelser med privat badeværelse og parkudsigt og et soveværelse med dobbeltseng. Fra spisestuen i stueetagen når du den overdækkede veranda med udsigt til haven, hvor swimmingpoolen og omklædningsrum er placeret. Perfect villa for holiday with a group of friends and all our children

The villa is calmfully situated in the countryside, 10 min drive from nice local, sandy beaches and close to mountain cities like Scicli, Modica, Ragusa and Noto. Tastefully decorated villa, well equipped kitchen and exterior barbecue and pizza oven for cooking for our group of 12 people, 6 adults and 6 children in the age from 8 to 15 years. Really nice seating space for all os us inside, outside on the covered terrace facing the pool and outside in the courtyard with the morning sun for breakfast. All rooms and bathrooms are really clean, nice and spaceful, leaving enough space for 3 groups of friends with children to be together and to be on their own. Pool is great, from approx. 1 meter to 3 meter dept. Garden is really green and tasteful. Small play ground for the children. Parking inside the closed property. We had a great week and we would love to come back. Oriana, who owns the property, is really nice and helpfull.

Fantastic and tasteful house

We traveled three families together and we must say that this house was perfect for the purpose. There were lovely, large rooms, many bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, fantastic outdoor area with terrace, garden, pool. And everything was kept in a fantastic tasteful style. Very nice dialogue and service from our host Oriana throughout the whole course, where she assisted with advice and tips, helped with bookings and even brought us homemade dessert! The pool was cleaned everyday while we were sleeping. A house that really needs to be experienced!

We had a wonderful stay with the whole family. 10 adults and 5 grandchildren.

The house was very nice, and the service from Oriana was very, very good. She is a wonderful person. We are so pleased. The house was very nice and clean, and we loved the bedrooms , and that every double rooms had a bathroom.

Amazing villa for a week

We absolutely loved our week at this villa. The villa itself was amazing. Beautifully decorated, with enough bedrooms for our group of 14. Bonus that all rooms all have their own AC. The outdoor area is the best part of the villa though, fantastic pool and dining area where we ate every meal. Location is fantastic too, close to great towns with Scicli only about 5mins away. A lot of exploring to the other towns only 30mins or so away. Oriana was amazing, and this included organising a meal for our first night, including a birthday cake too. She had lots of great recommendation and is lovely. We absolutely loved our week here, only wish it was longer.

Beautiful villa with helpful host in a lovely area!

I was attracted to this villa by its size and how nice everything looked, and also by the excellent reviews of the host. I can honestly say it lived up to those expectations! We were a group of 13; 3 families with kids aged between 8 and 13. The villa itself is furnished to a high spec with really nice spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Comfortable beds and lots of room and different little areas to relax or for kids to play. The garden is very well kept - especially the pool - and since it was very hot we really appreciated the large covered area where we can all eat together, and there are plenty of trees giving natural shade in the garden. But we t is little touches like the provision of pool towels, washing liquid, umbrellas available at the property to take to the beach, and Oriana’s thoughtful restaurant recommendations, which set the property apart. The area has lots to do but isn’t very commercialised, lovely beaches and snorkelling and pretty towns (although beat to go late in the day when there is more ambience) Would not hesitate to recommend this property. Thanks for an amazing stay Oriana!

Phantastische Villa

Wir waren als Familie mit drei Töchtern Anfang Oktober in Sizilien. Die Villa ist sehr großzügig und weitläufig. Super schöner Garten, viel Charme, sehr moderne Bäder, riesiger und schöner Pool, tolle Terrasse, authentische Küche. Die Lage ist prima, sehr schöner Strand und romantische Stadt sehr nahe. Oriana, die Vermieterin kümmert sich mit viel Liebe zum Detail um die Villa und stets auch um das Wohlbefinden ihrer Gäste. Wir haben uns super-wohl gefühlt und empfehlen die Villa zu 100%.

Beautiful Villa

We spent a lovely week at Villa Antica Aia at the beginning of August 2020. If you ask the kids (ages 10 to 17) the best part was the pool, it is a great size and more than deep enough to dive safely off the springboard! The outside space, the garden and huge veranda make this a really lovely place to spend a quiet morning/afternoon/day. Inside the villa was immaculately clean and everything you need you will find. The air conditioned rooms are beautiful and beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and the wifi works well even with 8 people online at once! It's a 5 minute drive to some beautiful beaches and the nearby town of Scicli with it's lovely buildings and restaurants. The host is lovely and a great source of local information. Highly recommend staying here if you get the chance.

Ein Traumhaus

Für alle, die in einem wunderschönen Anwesen mit eigenem Pool Urlaub machen möchten, sollten das hier tun. Die mit liebe eingerichteten Zimmer mit jeweils eigenem Bad, der große Grill und der Pizzaofen lassen keine Wünsche offen. Die Vermieterin ist sehr aufmerksam und steht immer zur Verfügung. Perfekter Urlaub

Sehr schöne Villa, ruhig, wunderschöne Gartenanlage, es ist alles vorhanden, was benötigt wird. Extrem freundliche hilfsbereite Vermieter, Oriana kümmert sich persönlich um alles, gibt gute Tipps und bringt abends sogar selbst gemachte Nachspeisen als Geschenk vorbei! Die ganze Anlage ist ausgezeichnet, alles sehr sauber, für Familien mit Kindern bestens geeignet.

Ein sehr schöner erholsamer Urlaub in einer tollen modernen Villa mit 2 Familien

Die Villa mit der weitläufigen Gartenanlage und dem schönen Außenpolitik ist ein großartiges Zuhause für auch mehrere Familien. Der Ort bietet eine gute Basis für Ausflüge and Meer mit einem schönen großen Sandstrand direkt vor Ort. Andere Sehenswürdigkeiten lassen sich gut mit dem Auto erreichen. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen und viel erlebt und gesehen.

Excellent property with charming owners.

Ten good friends from Modbury in Devon spent a very agreeable two weeks in Villa Anticha Aia near Scicli in The Ragusa area. Our charming hosts Oriana and Michele Falla could not have been more attentive, helpful and generous with their frequent gifts of local desserts for us to enjoy with our meals. The house and pool set in a lovely garden were highly restful, and the outside shady terrace was a delight for evening meals. We took full advantage go the barbecue area with its excellent wood-fired oven to bring out the boy scout in us. The bedrooms were comfortable, well air-conditioned and spacious The house is well positioned for visits to Syracuse,Ragusa,Monica and Noto as well as closer favourites Punta Secca,Sampieri and Scicli.

VACANCES DE REVE!

Très belle villa, agréable avec un jardin exceptionnel, très bien arboré avec des zones d'ombres et des zones de solarium, piscine parfaite. De nombreuses villes aux alentours à visiter : Scicli, Siracusa, Ragusa, Modica et Noto. Les siciliens sont très acceuillants et en particulier Oriana et Michele, les propriétaires qui font tout pour nous faire découvrir ce coin de paradis. Encore merci à eux! Beautiful villa in lovely grounds

We had a great week in this villa with a group of friends, 12 of us in all. The bedrooms, all but one with en-suite bathrooms, were very comfortable and there are areas to sit and relax both inside and outside on the terrace. The garden and pool are lovely. The villa is ideal for a large group or two families and Oriana and Michele are very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed visiting the local towns of Scicli and Noto and also the Inspector Montalbano trail around the area.

A wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Antica Aia. The house is absolutely beautiful, with spacious rooms and each accommodated by a private bathroom. The living area was perfect for sharing meals with the whole family. The garden is huge, including a large terrasse with an outside BBQ area that we used, a swimming pool area (kids favorite!) and a large guarden where the kids could play. Not only is the house lovely and the facilities great but the host are extraordinary. They were so friendly and helpful with all our requests and did their best to accommodate all our wishes. They organised pizzas on our arrival as we had a late flight, a visit to a ricotta farmer close by and even invited us to share a delicious Sicilian traditional meal with them. They also were very helpful in pointing out interesting things to see in the vicinity of Scicli. We had such a lovely stay and we truly hope that we will be back again in beautiful Sicily. Thank you Oriana and family for making our days so wonderful.

Traumurlaub

Sizilien ist wunderschön . Michelle und Oriana Landhaus ist schön, mit seinem großen Garten und ein großes Schwimmbad. Das Haus aus Stein gebaut wurde geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Eigentümer und die Sizilianer sind sehr gastfreundlich . Dies ist 2 mal, dass wir zurückgehen, und wir sind noch nie enttäuscht. Die Städte Scicli, Modica sind wunderbar mit diesen Kirchen, diesen alten Steine. Wir sind in August 2015 und in April 2016 gegangen und wir hatten schönes Wetter zu jeder Zeit. Ich empfehle das Haus und die Region Sizilien.

Wonderful holidays

We spent a wonderful week in this beautiful villa. We were three families with two kids each but the house is big enough and comfortable, the gardens are spacious and the pool is very nice. It was such a nice and interesting stay. We did a lot of sightseeing around. We visited Scicly which is a little town nearby; Sampieri with a sandy beach is only about 4kms away. We visited also all highlights of the surroundings such as Syracuse, Ragusa, Noto and Modica. Oriana and Michele are really wonderful. They are welcoming, attentive to needs and helpful. On the first day they even came to the airport to show us the way to the house. On our last day they prepared for us a typical Sicilian meal: very tasty and big quantities ;). We certainly recommend Villa Antica Aia.

Wonderful holidays

We spent a delicious and comfortable holidays in Sicily thanks to the hospitality of Oriana and Michele. We stay 3 weeks in Scicli and travelled a lot to discover the great architecture and beautiful landscapes around Etna, Syracuse, Modica, Taormina. We deeply appreciated the garden and some of service of Oriana and Michele that really help us to enjoy our stay. We really hope to meet them again!! Highly recommended to family holidays

An unforgettable family holiday.

Where do I start.......... this was a special holiday for my family, a BIG birthday for one of my sons and we all met up - from Vancouver, Montreal and Brighton (UK) T Villa Antica Aia - six adults and three children under 9years of age. From the moment we all arrived the holiday was wonderful. The house was even larger than we had expected, the gardens are spacious and the pool.... well, the pool was the highlight of the trip. It was very hot and all just rushed home from sightseeing and jumped into the pool. It was such a lot of fun. Scicly which is a great little town, is a short 4km drive away and Sampieri with it's beach is only about 4kms away also. Easy access to a supermarket too. In fact driving to Ragusa, Noto or Modica is easy. Unless like us you get lost!! In which case you get to see the beautiful Sicilian countryside... Oriana and her husband are very, very attentive hosts and it is obvious how much pleasure that they get out of having guests stay in their house. On our last night she, her husband and their two children, brought, and shared with us, a typical Sicilian meal. It was such a lovely gesture. Also we wanted to have a special meal for THE birthday so Oriana arranged for a chef. She sent us a choice of menus and after the choice was made we just sat back and waited for the lovely food. That was very special. I would have no hesitation in making a recommendation to spend your holiday at this lovely Villa. Thank you Oriana for all your care and attention. My son thinks that you should get a 6 for the review!!!

Superbe!!!

Que dire de cette superbe villa, nous sommes à peine rentrés chez nous que la villa antica aïa nous manque... Tout était sublime, le lieu ( scicli est une ville superbe) , le jardin, la maison elle même oú tout était magnifique. Oriana et Michele sont tout simplement des hôtes fantastiques, ils ont une générosité et une gentillesse qui dépasse tout qualificatifs, ils nous ont fait découvrir des saveurs siciliennes délicieuses que nous garderons longtemps dans nos souvenirs. Nos enfants ( nous étions partis en famille avec 4 petits) auront pour longtemps de beaux souvenirs de Sicile. Merci pour tout, nous espérons tous pouvoir revenir très bientôt dans ce petit paradis.

Amazing property with very friendly owners

We stayed a week i July in this villa and it was an amazing experience. We were 9 people, 4 children between the age of 6 and 14 and we all loved the house as well as the garden with the large pool with trampoline. The house is large and is perfect for 2 or 3 families to share. It was nice and clean and looked every bit the pictures we had seen before. The owners Oriana and Michele are extremely friendly and was very attentive and helpful, and we could contact them anytime. Their genuine concern and their efforts to make our stay the best possible made this trip extra special (they even treated us with fresh vegetables and corn from their own garden (thanks again! :). The location i quiet and you need a car to get to the nearest town which is Scicli (a beautiful old town that has been listed as one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites) or to the beach although it is not a long drive. It is not a lot of tourists in this area which makes it feel very genuine. We would absolutely recommend this vacation home and hope to return soon!

Gorgeous place and the nicest owners!

We spent a week at Villa Antica Aia at the end of May with another couple and our young children - 10 of us altogether. The villa itself is a beautiful and spacious stone building over a century old but tastefully renovated. It is super well equipped and the owners did some shopping prior to our arrival with some breakfast essentials and delicious local wine. The garden is very large and beautiful with mature plants, lavender, herb garden, mini kids playground (away from the outdoor dining area, which is great for the noise!) and of course a good sized and deep pool. In between baroque Scicli and the small fishing village/ beach resort of Sampieri, Antica Aia is very well located to visit this fascinating corner of Sicily - mainly the provinces of Ragusa and Siracusa but we did go as far as Etna. Above all the owners Oriana and Michele are incredibly welcoming people and even treated us to a delicious meal at the villa itself that felt just like having another couple of friends for dinner. Also, make sure you try the ricotta calda at the farm near by - Michele will guide you there.
