Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: DAR always does a nice job and communicates well. The public/private beach situation is a little confusing but overall was fine. Location was great and house served us well.

Great experience, from check in to check out. House was extremely clean, great location and met all of our needs. The elevator was huge due to some mobility issues in our group.

Beautiful property! This was our girls first beach trip and they had a blast! Beautiful spacious house, very clean, wonderful location. I would highly recommend this rental!

We stayed with our adult family for a week. The location was excellent and the property clean and well stocked. We had everything we could need. The views from the living room through the large picture windows where our favorite part. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful place.

There are not enough stars for this house we rented for our long weekend friendcation!! Oh, the sunset toasts to be made here! The master bedroom views are amazing with their own private baths. It was so lovely to just walk a few feet to the beautiful beach with no one else but a fisherman trying to find the perfect fish for dinner (he is a local). In the evening we would watch a beautiful blue heron fishing in the waterway next to the house. The house was comfortable with plenty of games and all kitchen items needed for one or two feasts. You are within a short walking distance of stinkys fish camp if you need a dinner out or frozen drink while sitting on the beach. Definitely will be going back!

Spacious, Comfortable, Great Location!

We loved our stay at Piece of Paradise! The rooms are spacious and clean. Location is great with amenities super close. We had an issue with the sink that is probably our fault and hope that the owners will allow us to stay again! Bring extra bath towels and some measuring cups and spoons. Enjoyed this house very much!

Excellent Experience

We scheduled to stay for a month and added two extra weeks. The house, location and support from Dune Allen Realty all met or exceeded our expectations. We will stay at this house again in the future.

Great property

Property needs adequate towels in each bathroom. Also needs baking ware and cooking utensils in kitchen. Otherwise it was amazing!

The coastal dune lake across the street from this property has an outflow to the gulf next to this property. We have a saying on 30A “Don’t Panic, its just Tannic”. The 15 rare to the world coastal dune lakes that run the entire length of the 30A corridor are not polluted. It’s actually tannic water, which is created when leaves, grasses, pine needles, and other organic matter falls into the water. The matter breaks down over time, giving the water that tea-stained look. Tannic water isn’t harmful—if you look closely at the water in the lakes, it’s very clear. Clear or tea-stained, the coastal dune lakes are a source of pride for everyone along 30A and something we strive to protect and preserve for generations to come.

Great Week

The property is great. Beach and water great. Private beach is nice but people do walk down from the public beach. The only reason it did not get 5 stars is because the ac must be remote set because everytime we checked it the settings would have changed to 73. We stayed hot all week. It works even do it in the middle of the night. Aggravating. That was my only complaint.

Perfect location!

We had the best week! The house was great and we enjoyed the location in town and access to the beach! It was so nice to have the dune lake spillway next to the house too, our toddler loved playing in it as it was much calmer than the ocean! Overall great stay!

Peaceful paradise

Absolutely stunning house what a beautiful view of the water except for the side of the house where the lake that goes into the ocean so you have a brown river at low tide it wasn’t a game changer for me. pros and cons to the house: The Houses is Beautiful Especially when we woke up to looking at the ocean , very private and the elevator was a big help ,the location was perfect!!! Now for the cons we came into a dirty house they didn't even clean the floors sand everywhere ( and yes I know we’re at the beach but not this bad I go over year ) so I had to go out and get a swiffer and clean them myself One of the showers only has cold water , The kitchen was the worst didn’t even have a wine opener or not enough silverware for a house that sleeps 11 we had like four knives had to go out and buy a frying pan . Thank God we ate out 90% of the time. But it was a nice kitchen as well as a house I would recommend it just be prepared for the muddy water beside it .I would definitely go back but would be more prepared for the kitchen

Magnificent

This house is amazing- spacious, comfortable, excellently maintained. Location was great, the beach was private and easily accessible. The elevator was a huge plus especially with elderly family member. I will certainly be coming back!

Beautiful home

Pros: beautiful home, great location. The private beach was so peaceful and the two decks overlooking the water was very nice. The home was very clean upon arrival and check in was a breeze, property managers were extremely kind and helpful. The ac wasn’t working upon arrival and they had someone out the next day. Fans provided for every room and BASIC kitchenware was available. Cons: We had to purchase oven mitts and some bakeware. The knives were very dull and we would have appreciated some basic things like full salt and pepper shakers and coffee filters. There were not enough linens at all. Beds were not fitted with bed skirts and there were strictly two towels per bathroom, which is not enough for 11 people. There is no grill on this property and the outdoor furniture left much to be desired. Overall, I would recommend this place because of the home itself, location and private beach access.

Retreat with Wife and Adult Daughters

We had an excellent stay at Peace of Paradise. Weather was perfect and the beach was broad and very white....The house accomodated us very well. The elevator was much appreciated. Access to the beach was very good with less stairs to negotiate than most properties that we have visited in the past. With the elevator, you can avoid the stairs completely. Only negatives would be not having a Keurig coffee maker, more comfortable deck furniture, and for pete sake, more toilet paper and paper towels. You are paying well over a $1,000 per night so a few amenities like you would find in a great hotel would be a welcome addition and I would award a five star stay.

We are surprised to see your 3 star rating when the previous reviewer gave a 5 star rating. The listing states that it has a coffee maker, and not a Keurig machine. Also, we only provide starter amenities, but we would have been happy to bring more toilet paper over if requested. We greatly appreciate your comments about the patio furniture and Keurig machine, and we will share your feedback with the owner and suggest an update.
