Our family thoroughly enjoyed our first stay in Door County. The home was very cozy and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend the Prancing Pony.

Beautiful, relaxing house with enough space for the whole family. Private beach was close and so fun to walk down and enjoy time in the water or relax in the sand.

My family had a wonderful, peaceful time celebrating my brother’s retirement at the Prancing Pony. It was clean, roomy and designed/decorated to our delight! Everything we needed was provided. We especially enjoyed the quiet dead end road with access to the beach. So incredibly beautiful. Communication was prompt and clear. We look forward to our next visit and highly recommend to anyone seeking escape from Door County’s busyness. Although if you choose that it’s a quick trip!

Prancing Pony is a lovely rustic cottage in a wonderful location.the house is very clean and well organized. We had 2 older dogs with us but they enjoyed the cozy feeling of the house and the morning walks.we all slept great on the comfortable beds after a day of exploring Door County!

The host is absolutely lovely. The cabin had a wonderful cozy feel, nice kitchen to work in, very clean. The deck is great to hang out on with a small view of the lake. We felt lucky to be in this cabin. I was under the impression the cabin was right on the lake. I am not sure if I read the listing carefully enough though, that could be my fault. It is across the street from a sparsely traveled road a few blocks walk to the beach access. The beach has great sand and is lovely to be on. I highly recommend this rental. I am grateful to the host for her kind generosity and patience.

Excellent location, close to all cities in Doot County. Short walk to White Fish Dunes State Park.

We have stayed at the Prancing Pony numerous times, the home offers everything you need.

Perfect location and great house

This house is perfect for a family vacation on whitefish bay. Beach access is just a few doors down and the house has everything you need.

Wonderful week in Door

We had a wonderful stay at the Prancing Pony. The house is very charming and has plenty of space. Everything was as-advertised and you can’t beat the location just down the road from the beach! They’ve also added a keypad lock which makes it much easier to come and go.

Great stay!

We spent a fun week in this adorable home! Loved the design and decor of the house. It was well-appointed and very comfortable. Laura was an extremely helpful and kind host - she sent many recommendations that assisted us in having a wonderful week in Door Country (our first visit to this area). I hope we make it to the area again next year as we had a great time!

Awesome Place

We had such a great week at Prancing Pony that we already booked two weeks next year! We were worried about what to bring but we never should have, everything we needed was there! Perfect location and a cozy ambience made us feel right at home!

Perfect Door County Get Away

The Prancing Pony is a lovely, quiet spot perfectly situated to be away from the hustle and bustle of Door County towns but close enough to access everything you want to do. Super comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen and good community spaces large enough for games and an occasional sporting event on the large flat screen tv met of family’s needs.

The location was very good and the hostess easy to communicate with. The beds and pillows were wonderful!!We do have suggestions though...we couldn't find any kitchen towels or kitchen cloths. It would be good to have a clean sponge in wrapper and starter items such as a roll of paper towels, a small bag of coffee.

The view was lovely!

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location. We weren't able to get the TV to work, but we didn't need it and it was actually nice not to have it. We played games, went to beach, walked and loved sitting out on the patio.

Spacious home

This home is delightfully charming. Our family loved having space to spread out and loved the deck. You can hear the waves! This is a great location and includes private beach access.

August Getaway

Very nice, rustic, well kept property. Plenty of room for my family of 4 plus 1. Property had a beautiful view of Lake MI from the deck and access to the lake was only a few doors down across the street. The sandy beach was great for long walks and just hangin’ out.

Great Property

The location was amazing, and you could get to all the little towns great from this location! I would highly recommend it to anyone. The owner answered all questions, gave suggestions on what to do, was helpful, and was super responsive! It was clean and had everything we needed!!
