Thank you so much for choosing our home in stunning Swanage and looking after it so well for us. The off-road parking certainly is a bonus, as well as the corner shop. The downhill short stroll to the sandy beach is a real treat. We also enjoy the 5 minute walk to Townsend Nature Reserve, offering majestic views and leading to the cliff tops/the Anvil Point Lighthouse and Durlston Castle. It would be a pleasure to welcome you all again.

We are lighted you enjoyed our home in beautiful Swanage. The location being such a short walk to the lovely sandy beach, as well as all the amenities of the town, certainly are a bonus. We are also incredibly fortunate to be a 7 minute walk from the Townsend Nature Reserve, bringing you to Durlston Castle, with its Educational Centre and Exhibition Gallery and the stunning views as you walk along the cliff tops of Durlston Country Park and National Nature Reserve. Thank you for taking such good care of our home, it was a pleasure to welcome you and your lovely family.

Thank you for choosing our ‘much loved home’ in stunning Swanage. We acknowledge your negative points with disappointment, but, we thank you for bringing them to our attention as never been mentioned before. To address them as follows:- (1) The large kitchen offers our guests 2 wide drawers, 2 x 2 double wall units and a wide double base unit with all equipment needed along with plenty of worktop/counter space. (2) Our bathroom cabinet is not locked should a guest require a quick plaster/antiseptic spray etc. (3) There are no locked cupboards/wardrobes in any of the bedrooms, however, the double front bedroom has a single cupboard which does house some clothing and a note inside reading ‘Private’. There is a double wardrobe etc in this room for guests. (4) The garden furniture now has the pic-nic bench table plus Lounger in the garden, with a new table and chairs under the covered Pergola. Finally, we do clearly state ‘this is our home’ not a full-time holiday let. Wishing you all the best for future Holidays in stunning Swanage.

We are so very happy you all enjoyed stunning Swanage and the various outdoor seating arrangements, which make the most of the fabulous views, especially from the kitchen balcony. Being such a short walking distance to the lovely sandy beach, is of course, a great advantage, along with having Townsend Nature Reserve just 5 to 10 minutes walk away. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay in our home and of course stunning Swanage and hope the ‘welcome treats’ were enjoyed also. With regard to parking - we are not aware of it ever being an issue for our previous guests as we have always provided parking on our driveway and continue to do so. The surrounding areas provide free parking for any additional vehicles, however, during high season it is understandable it may become busy. As you enjoyed your stay so much in our lovely home and Swanage, we feel dropping us one star, when private parking was provided, seems rather harsh.

We are so delighted you all enjoyed your stay in our home in stunning Swanage. There are so many beautiful places to visit, as you all discovered for yourselves, many on our doorstep. Thank you all so very much, for taking such good care of our home, leaving it so tidy was very much appreciated by us. The weather was changeable, but, fortunately not too bad for late October. It is so handy to have ‘Bay View’ Swimming Pool/Gym so close by and of course there are always the selection of board games for indoor entertainment, along with Sky Q and Netflix, if the weather is not so good. We are delighted you all enjoyed the gift box.

We are so very fortunate to have such incredible scenery around us, offering the great coastal walks from the door and views of the sea. Our much loved ‘home by the sea’ is situated in an ideal location, Swanage Town, the Purbeck Hills and Swanage Bay, whilst a short walk will bring you to the outstanding ‘Townsend Nature Reserve’ leading you up to the Cliff tops and Durlston Castle, where spectacular views of the Jurassic coast greet you. We are so very disappointed that our last guests have been unhappy with our accommodation offered. We believe the criticisms of this last review to be totally unjustified because photographs of the balcony, garden and kitchen can be clearly seen, BEFORE the guests decided to make a reservation. The views from our kitchen balcony look over Swanage Bay and the Purbeck Hills, as well as our lovely garden. It is a lovely spot to sit at the 2 seater table and enjoy a pot of tea or glass of wine. Should guests wish to move **2 more garden chairs on to the balcony there is adequate room, plenty of extra chairs and are more than welcome to do so**. Our spacious garden has been landscaped with a raised covered seated patio area, where a **glimpse of the sea can be seen, along with some of the Purbeck Hills** . Considering our home is in this lovely quaint seaside town I believe the views from our garden to be lovely. It has a selection of seasonal high shrubs, offering privacy, raised Oak beds, a lawned area and a Koi Fish Pond. Our large kitchen offers a double oven, 6 ring range style cooker, loads of work space , but, **NO dishwasher**, (as clearly stated in our advertisement) but what ‘Fabulous Views’ from the Sink in Front of the Kitchen Window Whilst Washing Up!!! This is not a hotel, this is our home and as you would expect our kitchen reflects that!! I certainly do not have any problems keeping my kitchen CLEAN!!! We welcome any perspective guests to look at our previous ratings and fabulous reviews and of course our ‘Accurate Photographs’ of the accommodation offered. We take great pride and pleasure in welcoming guests to our ‘home’ which offers everything you would expect to find .
