It was a pleasure having you as guests, and being of help during your stay. We are also happy that you appreciated the historic and traditional market area of Catania and our typical Sicilian house in the center of the heart of Catania.

We are very sorry to read such a review after many years of work and hundreds of positive experiences with guests from all over the world. Our reviews truly speak for us. Everyone is of course entitled to their own opinion, but it is important to clarify that this apartment is located in the historic center of Catania, in one of the city’s most authentic and lively market areas. This is clearly visible before booking, and many guests specifically choose this location because they want to experience the real atmosphere, colors, sounds, and traditions of the city. You arrived during the market closing and street cleaning hours, which can naturally appear chaotic for a short period of time in a traditional Sicilian market district. However, this is also part of the authentic character of the area that many travelers appreciate and enjoy. We also find it unfair to describe the apartment itself negatively, especially since during check-in your husband told us that the apartment was beautiful and exactly as expected. We always try to assist our guests in the best possible way and remained available throughout your stay. We respect every guest’s preferences, but we believe this review describes more a personal dislike of lively historic city centers than the actual quality of the apartment or our hospitality.
