We loved our stay here, this is our second visit, so that speaks for itself! But this is a lovely cosy shepherd's hut that you should definitely book if you want a relaxing country break!

A great rural retreat

We had a lovely stay at the cabin, it felt really quiet and peaceful. Walking distance to a castle and pub, short drive from a lot of attractions.

Lovely hutch to stay in!

Perfect area setting, with amazing views. The cleanliness was exceptional and Owners were very kind. Definitely worth going back

A blissful little break

Relaxing mini break

We really enjoyed our stay at the hut & communication with Sally was great. We were lucky to get a clear night where we could sit under the stars by our fire pit, in the Orchard which was just for us. Would happily go back!

Pretty and peaceful location

This was a lovely weekend for me , I felt comfortable and cosy. I had everything I needed. Would have been great if the rain held off but it still didn’t spoil the experience. I hope to return this summer so I’m hoping there will be some availability. Value for money.

Relaxing

Love this little gem, it’s quiet and in a beautiful orchard location, the trees abundant with apples. Everything is available that is required for the stay along with a good sized fridge and logs are free if you decide to light the fire pit. It’s close to Tenby which has lots to offer. The hosts are responsive and very friendly, many thanks to them both. Would recommend.

Birdsong

Really enjoyed my stay in the shepherd's hut. The orchard is so peaceful and I was serenaded by birds all day. The hut is well equipped and cosy.

Great

Great for a couples retreat. It’s really peaceful there. Close to loads of places to visit and a lovely setting. The hosts are really nice too.

Great accommodation, not so peaceful.

The accommodation and setting is lovely. The shepherd's hut is cosy and well equipped and in a great location. We had a 2 night stay. The first night was perfectly peaceful, however the second night was slightly spoilt by the fact that a large children's party was booked on the property. We came back after a meal out and had to put up with lots of children running around the orchard and shepherd's hut and loud music until 2230, which meant we didn't feel comfortable sat ouside. Although I appreciate that this venue has multiple rentals and there are other people staying, we felt that this was too intrusive and we wouldn't have stayed if we knew about this in advance. That aside, i would still recommend as the host and accommodation are both lovely we may have just been unlucky on this occasion.

Also to big apologies that the children came up to the orchard & woods near the Shepherds Hut, this was a one-off 13 year old (niece) Roller Disco 6pm to 10pm and they did all disappear for an hour or so. We will host weddings & events in the barn, here at Cardeeth, but will have the whole place booked for that as a ‘destination’ venue so this won’t normally happen.

Idyllic

The location was perfect for us to visit many of the beaches on our list and the accommodation was a perfect glamping experience! The shepherds hut was done to a very high standard and the separate toilet/shower room was only 2 steps away. Beautiful surroundings and very accommodating hosts. Thank you for a great stay!

Idyllic getaway

A truly delightful shepherds hut, even better and more spacious than the photos indicated, in a lovely secluded setting. A great base from which to explore the beautiful sandy beaches, castles and Pembrokeshire. Sally and Jim great friendly hosts, not forgetting our welcomes from Archie. Would definitely come back again.

Idyllic place in the country

My husband and I had an amazing stay at this property. The bed was super comfortable and the hosts were very friendly. Both the property and the hut were beautiful and well maintained and had everything you could possibly want for and escape from the city. Will definitely look to return in the future.

Fab five days in the hut.

Great stay in the hut for the few days. Perfectly placed for Tenby. Great walks, picturesque landscapes. We had a lovely stay, we wished we could have stayed longer.
