Sea urchins cottage

This is our 3rd visit to this cottage. Brilliant as always.The cottage is well equipped and has everything you need and more. It's situated in a good place for the beach path,and has great views from the upstairs balcony of filey brigg. I am hopefully looking forward to visiting again.

Week in October at The Bay

Lovely , comfortable accommodation . Spotless and contained everything needed for relaxing break . Very near to beach and we made use of the lovely pool on site . An excellent holiday and lucky with the weather too . Very near to Filey and did a train trip from Filey to Scarborough for theatre . Found parking at front in Filey no trouble in October . Had a trip to Flamborough head and Bridlington .

Excellent stay

Lovely holiday as usual. The wonderful weather made the house’s access to the beach important. We were able to use the veranda more this year due to the weather. My teenager did miss the usual welcome pack but only for a moment.

Lovely house.

We have been to The Bay numerous times stayed in various cottages. This is the by far the best one.Very well kept and well situated and everything you need.... We will definitely be back.

Wonderful short break.

I highly recommend Sea Urchins Cottage at The Bay Filey. The house was spotlessly clean, and had everything necessary for a wonderful break. It was in a great position, with just a short walk to the beach. We will definitely book again.

A week at The Bay, Filey

Another excellent week at Filey Bay. Our 4th visit the last 2 years. We stayed the past 3 times in the detached property’s very close to the beach . We cannot say a bad thing about the resort , nor the accommodation. The resort itself is kept very clean . The accommodations we used are very modern , warm and comfortable. Very good facilities including washer / dryer which is great when having a weeks stay TV, DVD Player, all cooking equipment and modern appliances. Complimentary toiletries and cleaning supplies. Dog treats and even poop bags . Great holiday location . Will return again.

We were there as 3 adults for 10 nights. The house was extremely well equipped, including towels and loo roll. It's in a great spot with nice outside space with lovely garden furniture and a sea view from the balcony. Two good parking spaces. Comfortable beds, bedding spotless. No issues with it being dog friendly even though we don't have any. There were no annoying pet hairs. Paula answers queries pretty quickly. We arranged for a Sainsbury's delivery on the day we arrived. Very convenient due to Paula's good communication. This is definitely a home from home. Bar on the site is great value for money for decent pub food. We didn't use the other facilities.

Lovely place to stay

This cottage is ideally placed only a short distance from the amenities on site and the beach walk. The cottage was very comfortable and had all you could need during a break near the seaside. We have used The Bay a number of times and this cottage was the best so far.

Short notice Christmas break

Booked on Christmas Eve and the assistance and customer service from Filey Bay Direct (Paula) was fantastic. The cottage is one we have used before and it could never disappoint. The comfort and cleanliness are exemplary and the location ideal for a short walk onto the beach path. There is everything you could wish for within and around Sea Urchins to enjoy a stay at Filey Bay.

Vey nice cottage in a great location

This is a lovely property, excellent condition through out and high spec of furnishings, towels, bedding, kitchen appliances etc. Very well presented and thoughtfully designed - a real home from home. Location is excellent too just a five minute walk to the beach, we really like The Bay as well as not stayed there before. Will definitely look to re book this property.

Amazing, sunny October break

A lovely cosy cottage with everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable sofas and beds. We chose sea urchins because it had two ensuite bathrooms and a TV in each bedroom. And most importantly it was close to the beach and walks for the dogs. It even had a sea view. We all had an amazing stay and would go back again. Very dog friendly.

Fantastic Property in a Lovely Location

Lovely spotlessly clean property in a fabulous location with a sea view. I was kept informed throughout the booking process and checking in was simple and easy. The views from the balcony are amazing.

Lovely detached cottage

Quiet location, very close to the beach path. Very clean, well equipped. Beautiful en-suite bathroom and shower room. Comfortable mattress and great sea views from the main bedroom. Fourth time we have been to The Bay, this was the best cottage we have stayed in. Great customer service from the moment we arrived. Thank you for a much needed holiday after a very close family bereavement.

Beautiful

Absolutely stunning property Very clean and tidy, has everything you need and more for a cosy relaxing stay. Location on the bay is perfect. The walk in shower is an added bonus, didn't want to get out.. Will definitely book again in the summer to make most of the balcony from main bedroom

A great experience

Visited this property and location several times. Always found a very high standard of cleanliness. Excellent location for cliff and beach walks. Short drive to North Yorkshire moors and seaside attractions. Well equipped with home comforts. Easy parking, quiet peaceful location.
