This apartment is in a prefect location for adventuring around the island. It is fairly close to the Bugibba bus terminal, so it was easy to walk down and hop on a bus to go to any part of the island.

Location

I not only loved this place and it's location but the host was amazing. He was there if I needed anything and always a gentleman. I highly recommend a stay here. I will be returning!

Very clean tidy apartment

Clean & tidy apartment with plenty of space, in a very quiet block & lots of home comforts included . Easy access to bus station 8/10 mins walk away and local supermarkets very close by. A separate WC was a bonus , as three lady’s staying together.

Home from Home

It was lovely just to be able to relax in this property with everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable.the apartment was clean and very spacious. Close to shops and minutes walking to the centre of the town and sea front. A very good bus service from the local bus station approx 5 mins walk. The property owner (Saviour and family) was very helpful and accommodating.

Flat filled all our requirements. Savior and his wife provided pick up and drop off at airport promptly, was even given a little tour of neighbourhood on arrival. Useful info pack provided. Only needed to call savior once and he arrived promptly and sorted tv control. Best compliment was we did not need to call host as everything went so smoothly. Will certainly think about rebooking.
Very sunny in morning , good for during clothes. Nice to watch world go by. Lift to all floors never broken. Great for older people with some walking issues
Very good location. Within walking distance for all our requirements, swimming pool , restaurants, pub quiz, good internet connection, shops and buses
Buses frequent prompt you can go all over the island, you don’t need a car

Gute Ferienwohnung, geeignet auch fuer Personen, die, wie wir Englisch lernen.

Auch durch verspaetete Ankunft war er Check in gut, man findet in der Ferienwohnung, die wirklich zentral liegt alles, was man benoetigt. Auch die Sauberkeit ist gut. Wir haben uns wohlgefuehlt. Schade nur, das es nur eine kleine Pfanne gibt, wenn mal etwas braten mag, dann nur hintereinander.

Not the best, sorry

I’m not one for leaving negative reviews if I can avoid it and I spent 8 weeks deciding if to write this but there are a lot of 5 star reviews of this place so a) I doubt mine will make a difference and b) It’s only fair potential guests get to read some alternative opinions. I’ll start with the good - The room was very clean, having 2 bathrooms was excellent and all amenities were present and correct. Furnishings were stylish and in terms of location you have everything essential nearby in terms of food and beaches. - Owner was polite and punctual and very thorough explaining everything. Now the not so good. - While not the fault of the property, parking round here is near impossible. I don’t mind a bit of a walk but when you have a load of luggage parking relatively nearby would have been helpful. Oh, and the Maltese police love ticketing hire cars; I picked up a fine for parking “too near a corner” despite the car behind me nearer to the corner having no ticket and there being no lines or signs saying not to park. - Again on location, you’re in an area with a lot of bars so avoid if you like your sleep. - The air conditioner was coin operated which in a hot country seems a little cynical. I was constantly having to break banknotes to keep it running which was honestly a waste of money. Just have a normal air conditioner and charge a bit more up front. Unless you’re part iguana I can’t imagine anyone not using the air con. - Because it was just me and my partner the second bedroom was locked which I thought a bit presumptuous; as my partner has sciatica she needs a bed to herself and my assumption was I was paying for the whole apartment, not individual rooms. I considered mentioning this but given we had to pay extra to not boil to death I was reluctant to be told the extra room would cost more and sour my mood even more. - I offered to sleep on the couch but it had collapsed in the middle so wound up using a mixture of holiday laundry and a cheap duvet I bought from a nearby Lidl to make it bearable. - The bed itself seemed to have a mattress made from thinly sliced bread. There were two pillows we could use in total. As I said at the top, I hate leaving bad reviews but I’ve stayed at 5 different properties around Malta, 3 of which in this same area and the same price so I know what I can expect for my money and this, honestly, fell short.

Information on PARKING

This property was lovely. VERY clean and well equipped. The only slight issue was outside of the apartment (which is nothing to do with the landlord...he was fab) with the parking which we didnt understand until towards the end of our holiday! DONT park where there are NO LINES. In the UK this is fine.... but in Qawra we got a parking ticket. Make sure you park ONLY between WHITE parking bays

We zijn keurig opgehaald door onze gastheer inclusief rondleiding langs handige winkels. Appartement is zeer compleet, ruim en schoon. Een drukke straat maar genoeg te bekijken vanaf een van de twee balkons. Prima uitgangspunt voor het maken van uitstapjes. Bushalte nabij en busstation op loopafstand. Prima plek

Had a lovely stay at Saviours apartment.Situated close to restaurants bars and the bus terminus.The only thing I would suggest is a electric kettle instead of the gas one present!

Beautiful apartment in Bugibba

This beautiful, clean and comfortable apartment is located on a busy tourist street. It is just a short walk from St. Paul's bay. The apartment was plenty spacious for three adults but could have comfortably fit five or six. I stayed in the room next to a balcony over looking the street. It was very tastefully furnished with plenty of light during the day but the drapes would darken the room for sleeping, if desired. The other two bedrooms did not have much natural light but were away from the main road. There too, were tastefully furnished. The smallest room had two twin beds but plenty of storage for clothing and other items. The kitchen had all of the utensils necessary for preparing just about any meal. It isn't spacious but plenty of room for 1 to cook or wash dishes. The large table took up most of the room. There is a full bathroom with a nice shower. The other toilet is just that, a toilet and sink, small but all that is needed. The living room is adjacent to the kitchen with a comfortable sitting area. We didn't use the TV provided because we couldn't find a station in English, otherwise it was fine for socializing or relaxing. There is another, larger balcony off of the living room with plenty of room for four to sit and enjoy a meal or the evening, if it isn't too hot. The WiFi worked well in most rooms and we were able to watch Netflix or listen to music on our devices. My biggest complaint, and this was not the fault of the owner, was the construction going on in the building. There were several days, starting at about 7:30 AM, of jackhammers and pounding, which was very loud and disturbing. Additionally, there was fine dust and debris all over outside. Clothes could not be left outside to dry. The outside area had to be cleaned every time you wanted to use it. Hopefully, the construction will be over soon and renters can fully enjoy their stay. The owners are very kind and accommodating people. They were helpful with all of our needs.

Jolly good

Nice big apartment, modern and clean with everything you need. Nice balcony - gets the sun in morning so we had breakfast there most mornings. Flat is a 10 minute walk to sea and 5 mins to buggiba square, lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Owner is a nice guy - very helpful and took us from airport to apartment for E20.

Hidden Gem

Beautiful apartment in Qawra/Bugibba, We arranged airport transfers with Saviour which included an early morning return journey, not only were we collected from the airport but we were given a short guided tour of Bugibba before we were taken to his apartment. Wow! it is brand new, the photos do not do this apartment justice as it is much better than it appears. It is a short walk to Bugibba square or the bus terminus from which buses run to various parts of the island. We went to Valletta and Mdina, both highly recommended. We were slightly concerned at first about booking this apartment with it being new and having no reviews at the time., However we need not have worried there was good communication with Saviour from the outset and all money was paid through the Homeaway website including the breakage deposit. The breakage deposit was returned within a few days after we arrived back home, I have no hesitation in highly recommending this apartment for a holiday in Malta and if we return will be looking to book it again.

Beautiful spacious apartment. Great location. Great communication.

We were the first to stay at this new apartment and we were very impressed. All new appliances, furniture and fittings. Very spacious with two south facing balconies. The owner, Saviour was very helpful and picked us up and dropped us off at the airport very early and late. Top bloke. We'll be booking again.
