We had a wonderful time in Puerto Rico. The Pelican Point is the perfect spot full of surfing nostalgia right on the beach. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful, right from our very own balcony. The accommodations were clean and Jim was quick to respond when we needed help with the WiFi, which was user error. We will definitely be back!

Best place at sandy beach

Close to everything, middle of everything, loved the outdoor grill , owner was awsome me and my friends had a great time can’t what till next year

Beautiful location and friendly host!

The unit we stayed in was clean and had a beautiful view. Easily accessible in the Rincon area, at a relaxing beachfront property. The host is friendly and welcoming. A definite repeat for us!

The perfect beach vacation!

Our family of 4 had the best stay here! The accommodations are clean, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen had everything you need (plus there is a beautiful bbq area on site for guests to use as well!). The location and grounds were even better than the photos…we just loved every minute here! The owner, Jim, was so helpful in answering any and all questions we had about board rentals, places to eat, nearby activities…we would give this place more than 5 stars if we could! This was our first visit and we cannot wait to go back and do it all again!

Everything you need! Great location.

One of the most relaxing vacations we've enjoyed. Fantastic view and location. You don't really need to leave the area. Jim is attentive, informative and easy-going. We will be back!

Paradise!

Our stay at this beach side retreat was absolutely unforgettable. This property had a cozy, rustic charm with a stunning view right on the ocean. I loved waking up to the sound of waves, enjoying coffee on the spacious covered deck and taking in a beautiful sunrise in paradise. Jim was an amazing host, very friendly and always available to give suggestions on places to explore and eat. I definitely plan on returning to Rincon and can’t think of any other place that I would rather stay! Absolutely perfect place to unwind in paradise!

We had a wonderful time at Pelican Point. Jim the Owner was available on the property every day. The apartment was really nice and clean. The backyard was great. I would heartily encourage staying there!

Super Chill Beach Vibe

We would easily stay again. Perfect for our family of four. I can not say location, location, location. If we were not visiting friends I could have never left a square mile of the condo. Had everything we needed and fit the description to a T. The extra amenities, ie boogie boards and sun chairs were a super added bonus!

3 people family stay

We enjoyed our stay at Pelican Point. Great central location for what we wanted to do. We were able to hit a lot of different beaches and tourist attractions within an hour drive or less. Able to walk out the courtyard and up the beach and find some sea glass, which we all thought was cool. All in all, a great spot for dad and teenage daughters, 19 & 17. Jim was always responsive if I sent him a message and he had lots of good recommendations for the area.

Spectacular view

These condos are older but very clean. The owner is very attentive to any issues that crop up. These units are one of the few directly on the water and the view is outstanding. The location is good for walking to several very good restaurants. There is a great coffee shop and a taco stand. The only negative is the occasional loud music from the restaurant next door, only about once a week. But knowing this, you can plan an evening away and the music is done by 9:00.

The Perfect Place to Stay. After Hurricane Maria, Rincon and PR is Back

This place is located in the Heart of Rincon. Walking distance to bars and restaurants . Front and center views of the ocean and the beach is just steps way. The Hosts were very attentive and went out of their way to make us comfortable and provided us with great info on the local area. Other reviews talked about the noise level of the next door restaurant Tamboo which only happens in the weekend. For us it was not a problem and it actually helped enhance our experience there. Happy and Joyful Caribbean Vibe. I highly recommend this place and hope to stay there again soon.

So perfect, I don't know where to start. Wake up, have coffee on the 2nd floor balcony, watch the waves come in. Wander into the courtyard & chill in a hammock under the palm trees. Walk on the sandy beach. Boogie boards, beach chairs, coolers, umbrella -- all there to use. 2 min walk to rent a surfboard & you can surf right in front of the property. Courtyard shower & hoses. Grill, gazebo, tables for dinner outside. Location is ideal - you're in a small neighborhood outside of downtown Rincon. Five or six restaurants within walking distance (Tamboo, Kahuna, Casa Verde, Casa Islena, & Jack's). [Note: Tamboo nextdoor is not a rowdy dive bar. It's a pretty nice & pricey restaurant. Zero noise.] 2 surf shops within a block for beer, soda, sunscreen. 9 min drive to Tres Palmas for the best snorkeling we did on our trip. 10-12 min drive to Economart, Thurs night art market & downtown shops. The A/C units are some kind of magic, they cool the bedrooms down within seconds.Listen. You're at the beach in the Caribbean. Do you really want to stay in a touristy Ikea showroom just because it has a fancy shower head and Egyptian cotton sheets? Get some sand on your feet and be a little sweaty with a drink in your hand. Pelican Point is the perfect blend of the convenience & comfort you want on vacation and the real feel of the Caribbean. I would live here if I could.

The location is 10/10. Sandy Beach in Rincon is a beautiful, family friendly beach. It is not crowded, has calm clear waters (at least in the summer when it is not surf season) and it is sandy, not rocky. Pelican Point apartments are truly beachfront. Each unit has an amazing ocean view from the back balconies/patios and you are steps away from the beach. The shared outdoor space is also 10/10. Tables, hammocks, charcoal grill and outdoor kitchen are perfect for enjoying this incredible location. The apartments themselves are basic: cute and clean in a no-frills way. Some updates to appliances (oven not working in our unit), linens, decor would enhance the experience. That said, rates are very reasonable for the beachfront location and outdoor amenities. Walkable to a few stores/restaurants; short drive to town of Rincon. Owner was very responsive and easy to work with when I mixed up our arrival date.

My Excellent Puerto Rican Adventure

Having never been to Puerto Rico we weren't sure what to expect. It was an amazing experience and we will definitely be back! Who wouldn't enjoy waking up every morning and having coffee in the balcony overlooking the ocean? Jim is great to stay with, everything was just as he said, he even left us a couple beach chairs and an umbrella! The courtyard was a great place to sit and watch my family body surfing when I was done with the ocean for the day. Other beautiful beaches are just a stones throw away as well as restraunts, you have to check out Jack's Shack just down the road, don't be intimidated by its appearance, the food is phenomenal and Cole and Jenna are fantastic! If you are thinking of renting this, I recommend it, it's rustic, but it feels like you would imagine Puerto Rico feels ❤️

Excellent Vacation!

Five college friends (including my wife) decided to explore PR this year to find a new warm weather vacation spot. When 2 cancelled a couple weeks before we were to leave we scrambled to find an alternative and had the very good fortune to discover this property. We were welcomed by Jim (the owner) upon arrival (even though our "advance warning" to him was a little vague and late). Anything we needed (e.g., blender for our smoothies and daiquiris, replacement coffee-maker) showed up almost immediately. And Jim was very helpful with his dining and touring suggestions the whole week we were there. The large courtyard appeared an excellent place to hang out in the hammocks and watch the surfers and other "beach traffic". But our view from the 2nd floor balcony overlooking the courtyard, the beach, and the extended horizon from up there mostly had us being lazy and keeping to ourselves upstairs (although there was quite a bit of leaning over the patio to keep up with goings on down below). We saw a whale blowing and jumping the first morning we arrived (but Jim advised it was still a few weeks early for the migration--guess we were just lucky). There are also excellent restaurants within walking distance and many more just a short drive away. We had a planned power outage one day of our stay, but when he learned of it, Jim was there providing lots of lights (in case the outage went past dark) and suggestions to everyone on how to deal with the inconvenience, and making sure everyone was dealing ok with the situation while the power was out. We noted that earlier reviews had mentioned excessive noise from the restaurant next door, but that appears (hopefully) to be just a problem from the past. We had no issues, and having a restaurant next door is certainly convenient. All in all, this was a nice and friendly place. Jim was super helpful and generous with advice about things to see and do. The location is excellent. And we will be back. For sure! Thanks, amigo.

Fantastic view

Great location, right on the beach! Sandy beach great for beginner surfing, when swells are 1-2ft and Boogie boarding too. Jim is very helpful and accommodating owner. AC in the kids bedroom was going off and on and issue was addressed. Well equipped kitchen, pans, toaster, coffee. Lots of great food nearby 10 min drive, Cambija and one-two Rincon for seafood. Carbon Express and La papa for roasted chicken

Nice Stay.

This is a nice place located right on the beach. There was more than enough room for My wife and I plus my teenage daughter. Its in a nice neighborhood with a couple bar/restaurants and a coffee shop with in walking distance. The water was a little rough for swimming a couple of the days during our visit but there are other beaches a short drive away that had calmer waters. I will be staying here again.

Great location in a laid back surfing town

We had an absolute blast staying at Pelican Point. The music does get loud a few nights of the week but hey...just join in the fun! Jim and Carlos were excellent hosts.

Great Beach House!

Beautiful house, comfortable and clean. Great Beach access Only caveat is a that car is 100% necessary since there is minimal access to restaurants/bars.
