Lovely apartment and perfect location for exploring Kotor and surrounding areas. View from balcony spectacular- photos don’t do it justice. Pool a great bonus - quiet and clean. Immediate response from Anne-Marie and her friend Alex when we needed to contact them.

My wife and I had a fantastic week and can only repeat the other reviews. The apartment is great with everything you could possibly need and the view is breathtaking from day one to day seven. The pool is a treat and while we were there we were often the only people using it. Thanks to Anne-Marie and Alex who welcomed us to the apartment for the friendly communication and adding to our all-round enjoyment of a thoroughly enjoyable holiday.

Stunning views from the veranda right across the bay from Old Town Kotor. Excellent retreat that is easy walking distance to all amenities of Kotor and a small market, pharmacy and bakery nearby. If you have mobility issues, notice that there is an incline to get to the apartment, but I managed it without any issues.) I found the apartment to be very comfortable and nicely equipped for my stay. I highly recommend it and look forward to staying again in the future.

Fabulous

Loved our stay, easily walkable to the old town, amazing views across the bay and the apartment itself has everything you could need. We practically lived on the balcony, what a spot! 100% recommend and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful property and location

Such lovely hosts tried to make sure everything was taken care of which made the whole experience so much easier and care free. The property location was perfect as it was far enough away to not be bothered by the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy it. Would defo Recommend

Spacious, clean, very well equipped apartment. Loads of storage & fab to have a washing machine! The pool area was generally pretty quiet & a nice space for morning sun. However the real wow of this property is that amazing view - you will not tire of watching the changing sky & activity unfold on the water - from cruise ships to kayaks & swimmers, it’s a wondrous location to relax. 25 mins flat (busy at times) walk to main old walled town. Great communication from hosts. Highly recommend

Great apartment with breathtaking views

Excellent apartment with fabulous views over Kotor Old Town, Boka Bay and the surrounding mountains. The apartment was really well equipped and the swimming pool was a refreshing delight (again with stunning views). The apartment is set back from the road and a good 25 minutes walk into Kotor Old Town, but there are frequent taxis and buses. Our host was excellent in organising our airport transfers, check in and out and car hire with the help of Alex who lives nearby. Thoroughly recommend this apartment as a perfect base to explore this part of Montenegro and even to venture over to Dubrovnik.

Perfect place

We spent 5 nights at this apartment and felt very comfortable. Anne-Marie was great at communicating and let us know ahead of time about the construction going on behind the building. To be honest we were up before any noise started and in the evening the work was done while we enjoyed sitting on the balcony enjoying the view. We picked this spot based on photos of the view and the view was way better in person. Although not in Kotor it was an easy walk to get to the old town. The apartment had all essentials we needed and Alex (the man on site) was helpful to us during our stay. It was a bit cool for us to enjoy the pool but overall I would recommend staying here. If we were to return we would stay here again. Thank you Anne-Marie for sharing your home with us.

Excellent

We just returned from a nice week on beautiful Kotor Bay. Everything went smoothly from booking till the end of our stay also connecting with host Anne-Marie and local partner Alex by WhatsApp. The apartment is beautifully renovated and tidy and the view to the bay is amazing. Well equipped kitchen, comfy mattress in bed and hot shower are valued. Neighborhood is peaceful, a bakery and a grocery in close distance and nice short walk to the town. There is lots to experience; Kotor town and the amazing views from the fortress, boat trip to the Blue Cave, several little villages along the bay.. We walked a lot and used the local BlueLine buses and also the long distance ones to go further like towns Budva and Podgorica. We have hired holiday properties along Europe for twenty years and this is definitely one of the best and we warmly recommend it.

We've just completed a weeks' stay at this apartment in Kotor having had the previous week in Tivat. Prior to our arrival, the hosts, Anne Marie and Chris, were very helpful with local information and their driver, Alex, picked us up from Tivat on arrival day at a good price.Anne Marie allowed us to check-in early which was very much appreciated as we had to vacate our Tivat apartment at 10am.The apartment in Kotor was spacious, well equipped and clean and the views from the balcony over the Bay of Kotor were unparalleled. The apartment itself is up a VERY steep hill off the main road, the main road of which is narrow and pretty much unmade along the waterfront and very busy with a constant stream of traffic. About a third of the road into Kotor is without a pavement and quite a few times, cars were within inches of us and we usually stood to one side to let them past. It is just over a mile to walk to the city walls from the apartment. There is also building work behind the apartment and it is currently very noisy and dusty. The rear balcony off the bedroom gets the afternoon sun but it is not very pleasant to sit out overlooking the car park and construction site. There is a pool to the front which gets sun all day but the sunbeds are the very hard plastic and uncomfortable variety!Weirdly, there was no duvet cover on the bed and the TV in the living area couldn't connect to Netflix.Overall a good stay but we both thought a week was slightly too long.

Stunning views and lovely apartment

This fabulous one-bedroom apartment in Muo has breathtaking views across Kotor bay under a stunning backdrop of mountains. The balcony looks out over the beautiful bay towards the historical old town of Kotor. The apartment is superbly equipped, clean and modern. There is a communal swimming pool which never gets too busy where you can relax and unwind. A 20 minute walk takes you into the bustling town of Kotor, enriched with culture, history and natural beauty. The town has a real buzz especially with all the daily visits of cruise ships but there are countless wonderful restaurants serving local dishes, specialising in fish and pasta. A speedboat trip around the bay is one of the must-do adventures. The owners Anne-Marie and Chris are always on hand via email or what’s app should any situation arise. If you are considering a holiday in Montenegro, and I really would recommend it, then this is the perfect accommodation for a couple.

Wonderful property and super hosts!

Anne-Marie and Chris couldn’t have been more helpful throughout the booking process and during our stay. They made it very simple and easy for us to reschedule when we had to postpone our stay twice because of Covid. They also provided lots of helpful information about the area and were easy to contact and very responsive to our messages. The apartment was spotless and contained everything we needed for a week’s stay. All the little touches had been thought of and we were very comfortable there. Check in was straightforward and Alex, the owner’s agent in Kotor, was available to help throughout our stay. We also arranged transfers and car hire through Alex and would happily recommend his services. The apartment is in a perfect setting - a peaceful location close to the water, but only a short walk into town. And the views from the apartment are to die for! We made good use of the swimming pool, which was lovely and warm, and there were always plenty of sunbeds available. We have already recommended the apartment to several of our friends and we hope to return again ourselves in the near future.

Wonderful Apartment

This apartment has a balcony with the most wonderful view you could ever ask for. It was the highlight of our holiday. The swimming pool was also an amazing location to cool off and watch the birds swooping down for a drink! The apartment itself was very well equipped and spacious, fitted and decorated to a high standard. The shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. The air conditioning was effective and welcome! The parking space was a real bonus, given the difficulty of parking in the area. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to old Kotor but it is a bit hazardous as the road is narrow and there are no pavements for half the distance. Communication with the owners prior to the holiday was excellent with a very quick response time. Once in Montenegro, the local contact, Alex, was also very responsive and helpful. However, we would suggest that a key safe would improve the check-in experience. This would avoid the anxiety we felt when our flight was considerably delayed. The apartment was very clean and tidy with the exception of the fridge.

Thank you for your positive review. We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay! We will give some thought to a key safe but we have always found that the face to face contact (often so rare these days!) with a friendly English speaking local has been welcomed by our guests, especially as Alex takes time to settle guests in, explain how everything works and will even register guests’ arrival with the local authorities for them to maximise relaxation time! We are in the process of sourcing a new fridge! Thanks again, Anne-Marie and Chris

We had a fantastic 2-week stay at the newly furnished apartment near Kotor old town which was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a serviced pool & air conditioning.Waking up to the view of the sea & mountains right from the balcony was the highlight watching the boats and cruise ships go by was magical. The location is quiet and peaceful, yet a short walk to the sea front, and a 15 minutes walk to the restaurants and shops in Kotor old town. The host was excellent with communication. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful coastal getaway.
