Villa, der for nylig blev renoveret i 2017, ligger i Kalkan i en rolig og høj beliggenhed med fantastisk udsigt over Middelhavskysten og de omkringliggende Taurusbjerge. Villaen er ideelt beliggende inden for rækkevidde af regionernes mange historiske seværdigheder og naturskønne områder samt Kalkans vidunderlige vifte af kvalitetsrestauranter, 15 til 20 minutters gang eller et par minutters kørsel eller taxatur væk. Villaen drager også fordel af en gruppe lokale butikker, restaurant, konditori og søndagsmarked inden for 5 minutters gang. (Nyt for 2019 Bim supermarked kun 2 minutters gang væk). Villaen har plads til op til 4 gæster plus en barneseng og er stilfuldt indrettet til din komfort og nydelse (nyt køkken, senge og møbler og opgradering af det udvendige rum til 2017). Ejendommen består i korte træk af: Åben plan spisning og fuldt udstyret køkken med morgenmadsbar, opholdsstue med satellit-tv, DVD, møbleret solstue med radio / bluetooth-afspiller og der er også en nedenunder wc. På 1. sal er der 2 dobbeltværelser med brusefaciliteter på badet og toiletter i bidet-stil, indbyggede skabe, med separat adgang fra hvert soveværelse til den møblerede balkon med udsigt over bugten og øerne. Ovenpå er der en møbleret overdækket og privat tagterrasse med barområde, der har den mest fantastiske udsigt. Ideel til afslapning om dagen eller nedkøling under stjernerne før sengetid. Udenfor er pool, gårdhave og have med udendørs opholdsområde og 4 liggestole med parasoller, hvis nødvendigt. Hvis du har små børn (baby) og har brug for en barneseng, babystol, bilstol osv., Kan vi med glæde give dem til dig uden ekstra omkostninger. Vi lever lokalt, så vi er altid til rådighed for at hjælpe dig med at nyde din tid i smukke Kalkan. God ferie.

We had a wonderful stay at this villa in Kalkan and were absolutely delighted with our experience. The villa was exceptionally clean, very comfortable, and the private pool made our stay even more enjoyable.The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They provided us with excellent recommendations for restaurants, activities, and things to do in the area, which we really appreciated.We were also pleasantly surprised to find drinks, fresh fruit, and other food items waiting for us upon arrival. It was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel very welcome from the very beginning.Everything was perfectly taken care of, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We would absolutely recommend this villa to anyone visiting Kalkan and would happily stay here again!

Absolutely beautiful villa. The garden room is an added bonus and so lovely. The pool was beautifully maintained and cleaned every morning. Communication with Mandy the owner was super. Mandy made contact prior to arrival, giving us advice for arrival including accurate directions. She was on the other end of the phone for anything we needed during our stay. The villa is beautiful and very well furnished. Their hospitality is very thoughtful. 5* wholly recommend!

The garden room is always great for anyone choosing to come early or late in the season as the sun keeps it lovely and warm, the log burner is amazing for cooler evenings and you also get a great view whilst cooking up a treat on the bbq. We had a lovely holiday and it is the best villa we have stayed in. Mandy is a fantastic host.!

The villa is beautiful, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Mandy offers a shopping service ahead of guests arrival and she really delivered on everything we asked for. Apart from the welcome pack it was also nice to have provision of basics such a w/u liquid , washing machine detergent etc, things we have had to purchase ourselves or been left with dregs at previous properties.It all made for a great start to our holiday. Mandy was helpful in everything, especially when we discovered a young cat which had suffered an accident resulting in a severely dislocated leg. On contacting Mandy for advice she rang her friend at Kapsa, and despite in the middle of baking cakes for their restaurant she drove off to collect the cat carrier. All in all the best villa and best host we have experienced during our five holidays in Turkey. Thank you Mandy!!

Amazing holiday

Just returned from the most amazing holiday in Kalkan. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Mandy was with organising the transfer, ensuring there was a welcome package which far exceeded anything we’ve had before, to booking restaurants and recommending places to go and taxi numbers! There is a supermarket just a couple of minutes up the hill that will cater for most things during your stay. The villa itself is spotless and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Ground floor is open plan living, leading out to a wonderful pool area and glass building with table tennis, comfy sofas and dining area for lunches. Upstairs to the twin/double room with en-suite, seating area and covered balcony, then up one more floor to another double room with en-suite and balcony. All rooms have air-conditioning and are comfortable to sleep in. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone, the views are spectacular and it’s only a 15 min walk down the hill into town or a 5 min taxi ride. Mandy is always on hand if needed and really made our holiday run like clockwork. I’m desperate to come back again to this lovely town and even better villa.

Fabulous Villa

From first communicating with the owner Mandy the whole booking experience was stress free. Mandy always replied to questions I emailed her within a couple of hours. We took advantage of Mandy booking our transfer £130 return, in an air conditioned minibus complete with a choice of cold drinks. I had also emailed Mandy a shopping list (another service she offers) prior to our arrival which made sure our holiday started as soon as we arrived with essentials for the first couple of days already in the fridge. Mandy was at the villa waiting for us even though it was just before 11pm she showed us round explaining how everything worked and how to call a cab or takeaway using WhatsApp . Villa One was exactly as the photographs showed if not better in real life. We were spoilt for choice on which of the terraces to eat breakfast or enjoy a cold beer. Our 2 girls ages 13 and 15 loved being able to take advantage of the pool whenever they felt like. The villa is situated on a hill which is a steep but doable 15 minute walk down into town, though we never attempted to walk back. We used taxis for the return journey at a cost of 20tl (approx £3) bargain! We ate out in several of Kalkan’s many lovely restaurants and never had a bad meal. Two of our favourites were Salonika 1881 for wonderful Mezes and fish and Baharat for probably some of the tastiest Steaks we’ve ever eaten (owned by Hasan, Mandy’s husband). We made use of the BBQ a few nights, on the terrace over the pool and also enjoyed takeaways from Ata (traditional charcoal grilled meats) and Ziizi for the best pizza and homemade french fries. We visited Kalimar Beach Club, who send a taxi for you and drop you back. It costs 20tl ahead for a sunbed and parasol and you can use the waiter service for drinks and food. Our girls loved using the Pedalo’s which are included in the 20tl you pay for the sunbed. We also enjoyed a bus ride into Kas which cost 35tl (£5 approx) each way for the 4 of us. We are already planning our next trip to beautiful Kalkan and can not recommend Villa One highly enough!

La maison était très propre, literie de qualité , une vue magnifique. La propriétaire est très sympathique et toujours disponible . Beaucoup de conseils et présente à l’arrivée et lors du départ. Elle nous a également offert beaucoup de petites attentions pour le petit déjeuner, eau et divers autres aliments très bons. Je recommande cette jolie maison et merci pour la gentillesse de Mandy.

Beautiful Kalkan

When I found Villa One I could only hope it was as great as it sounded. We arrived at night, met by Mandy who was so warm and welcoming. She gave us a tour and we were really impressed. However, It wasn’t until the following morning that we were able to fully appreciate the villa and it’s spectacular surroundings! The views were incredible. Sea views one way, mountain views the other, and the pool area is stunning. There are a variety of areas from which to take in the views and they are all fantastic. Kalkan is wonderful and I would love to return. Mandy was on hand to provide practical information, impart local knowledge and was so helpful and kind. It’s a real gem of a villa and is great for families. I would 100% recommend!

Amazing property 5 star service

Me and my wife stayed at Villa one for 10 nights this september. Villa one is clean, with am amazing layout and all necassary items in place to enjoy a wonderful break ontop of the cleanest pool ever!! we hired a quad from the town and explored the surrounding moutains and ate breakfast in mountain restaraunts 2 mins from the villa. Mandy the owner was constantly in touch with us giving us tips and help, and provided a top service throughout our stay beyond more than we could expect. thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful villa Mandy and i would like you to know it was one of the best holidays of my life and it was mainly as a result of us staying at Villa One.

Wonderful Experience

Mandy and her husband Hasan made us very welcome with amazing Turkish fruit, bread, cheese, wine and other goodies on arrival. The villa is beautiful, pool superb and views are stunning. We ate in Hasan’s restaurant a couple of times to, Baharat, and we were delighted with the food there and service, ambience and overall quality. All in all a superb experience and highly recommended

Villa One (July 2018)

I found my stay at Villa one very enjoyable and very well located. The description and reviews are accurate and my general experience was excellent. Mandy (owner) went above and beyond which made our stay even more special, as she made our holiday even more relaxed by booking beach club, stocking up fridge/freezer, booking taxi for airport and supplying us with lots of information etc etc. Villa one was 5 mins away from town centre (which is fab) but the views from the roof terrace day or night was outstanding. We ate at Baharat which Mandy's husband owns and I have to say Hassan and his staff made us very welcome and to be honest a I did feel a little bit like a VIP.

A lovely well equipped villa..

We enjoyed a lovely holiday at the extremely well equipped Villa One. The villa is in a lovely quiet location with easy access down into Kalkan either by car, cheap taxi ride or on foot, if you can deal with the heat and the steep roads... Mandy was extremely helpful throughout our 16 night stay. Always on hand if we needed anything but not in the least intrusive. Just the right balance for a quiet relaxing holiday which is exactly what we were looking for. The villa is the perfect size for a couple but will also easily accommodate a family or 2 couples. The outside space is lovely with several terraces for relaxing and eating during the warm evenings. We certainly recommend it and hope to be back soon. Thank you Mandy for making our stay so enjoyable.

Mandy was a great host & her husband Hassan along with their resturant 'Bacharat' were ideal peolple with whom you can enjoy a wonderful holiday, Villa 1 had everything you require, & a nice touch a welcome pack was waiting for us,a very steep uneven road down to Kalkan town (but a taxi, will only cost you 15TL = £ 2:70p) it's well worth it the town is simply a wonderful place to eat,drink, people watch, we even went on a day boat trip on Ali's boat the 'Zeus'with terrific food, swims, & we even helped catch part our lunch of fish !!! Amust do thing all for the pricely sum of 100TL each. The villa had a terrific pool to take a nice dip in after a day at the town, & we ate in on the pool terrace, with the fragrant bliss of the shrubs around the pool that gave off wonderful aromas in the evening.Mady sorted the transfers to & from Dalaman airport, which was a very comfortable ride although a bit long, (1hr 45mins) but the journey at the end is, well worth it. I'm not one to recommend a holiday place to other people, BUT my wife Hazel & I both agree THIS IS.so thanks Mandy we will be back xx

Very clean, beautiful area with stunning views. Well equipped. Couldn't ask for more

My partner and I were lucky enough to stay at this beautiful villa for our 10 day holiday to kalkan. We were both amazed when we arrived at just how beautiful it was. Very spacious and clean and comes equipped with everything you need to feel at home on your holiday. The views from the villa are simply breathtaking and we enjoyed having our breakfast everyday on the BBQ whilst enjoying the scenery. The beach is a little way from the villa but if you didn't fancy the 15-20 min walk to the beach then it was only about 2 pounds for a taxi. Mandy and her partner also run one of the nicest restaurants in the town and is most definitely worth a visit. Mandy who owns the villa couldn't have been more helpful in making our visit more relaxing and informing us on the best places to visit and eat etc. To summarise we loved every minute in kalkan and the villa and already planning our next trip.

Wonderful all round, can't recommend highly anough

Right from booking the owner (Mandy) was in touch regularly giving hints and tips which was really useful as we'd not been to Turkey before. She greeted us warmly in person which was great as we arrived at about 2am and had stocked up on all things we'd need for first day. From there she was accessible and was a huge help offering advice on where to go and what to see. The Villa itself is aptly named because it really is number One in every sense, clean, tidy, a great size inside and out, the pool is wonderful and it's hardly overlooked at all. The view is stunning both ways with mountains one way and the beautiful Kalkan bay the other. Kalkan is quite quiet at time of visit due to the local issues which were more than a year ago. It being quiet suited us perfectly. Local food is great and there's lots of choice of bar and restuarant. Turkey is a great place to visit and Villa One and the amazing Mandy are the perfect hosts for your Holiday. Now stop reading and just book you'll not regret it!!!

I have lived in Kalkan since 2008 with my husband and son. We have a restaurant in the Old Town, Kalkan and have recently purchased Villa One (previously Rhapsody Villa) as a holiday home for rental and to accommodate friends and family, when visiting. The villa is in a quiet location above the town but not too far away from shops and the main resort (15 min walk or 5min car/taxı ride). We choose this villa because of its location, stunning views, quiet road, private with a great sized pool and beautiful gardens and reserve water supply (tank). Ideal stay for couples or families who don't want to be disturbed by load music or road noise. There are small shops a few minutes walk away up the stairs leading directly from the villa, grocer (fresh fruits and vegetables), Bim super markets and mini market for daily essentials and a traditional turkish restaurant serving great traditional turkish breakfast, pides, kebabs, salads etc along with a patisserie just a 3 minute stroll up the hill for breads, cakes and a turkish breakfast. You also benefit from a local market every sunday for fresh produce grown and sourced locally, Villa One is the first of 3 villas from the road way parking with only one set of steps before you reach the villa, which helps if you are carrying things like cases or shopping.

Also benefits from a large reserve water tank for when the local water supply is cut for repairs. There are also local shops and a sunday market for all your essentials, all within a 5 minute walk. The villa benefits from extra privacy and security provided by new lockable entrance gates and fencing NEW FOR 2017. The villa has the most amazing views from all levels.
