Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was very nice. There was plenty of space for 3 adults and 2 children. The indoor pool was clean and warm. The hot tub was great. I loved having a full kitchen. We even did a couple loads of laundry. The cabin was close to anything you would need. We will be coming back in the future.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin was extremely hot as the AC could not keep the cabin cool. Carpet in the theatre room was wet from the previous draining of the hot tub. Dining table finish made it extremely sticky and unpleasant.

Now the pictures make it seem like the game room is bigger and farther from the rooms, the bed on the game room was broken, the mattress are thin, the stairs where slippery and one of the lights was not working. They were responsive but did not get the issues resolved, we left something behind and we ask them to send it to oit address and they told us that it was “not found”

The only negatives were a few minor maintenance issues(missing shower head), so many stairs, and the annoying pool alarm. It was impossible to keep the stairs to the basement pool dry, so we had several falls. Regardless of these minor issues, we would stay again!

NICE AND SPACIOUS

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I booked this cabin for a Friendscation and my brothers birthday. The cabin was very nice and spacious. There were a few maintenance issues, fridge wasn’t getting cold, both sinks in upstairs bathroom were clogged, instructions wrong for dishwasher, but they came out and fixed them in a timely manner. The location is not bad either. This cabin is 15-20 mins away from all the attractions and PARKWAY BLVD. OAN It was obvious the cabin hadn’t been used in a while. There were spider webs EVERYWHERE and the furniture on the second deck needed cleaning.

Christmas in the Smokies

Reviewer Comments: We will start by saying this cabin is conveniently located to restaurants and attractions while still in a country setting. We had the max number of occupants and required every bed and pull out sofa. We were disappointed that the game room sofa springs were broken and our adult children could not use that bed. The pull out sofa in the living room on the main floor was damaged and we barely got that bed pulled out. We were disappointed with how cold both the pool and hot tub were. We had to wait several hours for the hot tub to warm up and half the jets did not work. We did not use the pool because it was so cold ( huge disappointment). The back of cabin view from balcony was disappointing due to trash all along hillside. Our kids did enjoy theater/bedroom area and they hung out in this room quite a bit. We were content with kitchen area and cleanliness of cabin.

Needs some work and updates

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: To start all of the large kitchen appliances have lose pieces and the refrigerator barely keeps things cool. There are so few serving dishes that it is difficult to make a meal. By the end of the week there were mouse droppings in the main floor bath? The decks definitely need updated including the furniture. The grill is a joke being that small and barely works. There are parts if the floor and steps that are uneven and make u feel like the cabin is going to drop off the hill. The upstairs does not get below 78 unless it is 2:00 in the morning when the neighborhood hound dog barking and howling his way through the entire night and does not stop until 7:00!!! There is not a fan that can drowned out the constant barking. The mattresses need replaced and the carpet as well. It makes your feet black! It is obvious that this is just a rental property and it has been rented a ton. The owners need to put some money back in it if they are going to continue to charge that much. We had friends staying in a cabin in the same complex that they rented from vrbo and we definitely had cabin envy. How do you not even have granite counter tops and a **** garbage disposal!!!! The bedding is just gross and had cigarette burns in the bunk beds. Please please get some decent pillows. I did not expect all if this for the price I was paying! The check in and out was great and I appreciated being checked on during our stay. I was assured this was a luxury cabin and it is not. It is average and in desperate need of the owners putting money back into it. I would not choose this cabin again but would stay at elk springs away from the barking dog that kept the whole family from getting a good night's sleep for a week. The cabin had been cleaned but made you feel dirty with how old and run down things were. The kitchen floors are like a skating rink when you are trying to cook! If I had to guess this cabin is 15yrs old and has the same bedding and furniture since day one.

The outdoor lighting was poorly lit and in some areas it was plastic water bottles in the light sockets. It was hard to enjoy the balconies in the daytime due to the excessive bumblebees flying around. The hot tub had grit and mini pebbles at the bottom of it that wasn’t a great experience stepping on something that shouldn’t be there. The outdoor furniture near the hot tub needs to be replaced or cleaned. The indoor pool temperature was set a little low. Also the 2 pool alarms made it not enjoyable to use the pool. I do understand why the need for them is important. Maybe there should be cabins for adults only with pools. I didn’t enjoy this cabin like I did all the others I have stayed at. I wish I called to switch cabins or something. I spent a lot of money and didn’t get enjoy myself like I usually do when I book a cabin with this resort. It also has made me want to take break from renting cabins for awhile, that stay left a bad taste in my mouth

We had a question about the pool cover and a maintenance person came out immediately and assisted us. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and made for an enjoyable getaway. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin was beautiful and big enough for the 8 of us with beds left over. The pool was so nice. My only complaints would be the air in the living room and downstairs with the bunk beds were hot the whole weekend. When we arrived it was 78 degrees, we tried to turn on the air but it seemed like it never kicked on. During the hottest part of the day, it was 80 degrees in the house. It was absolutely miserable if you were cooking, we even shut all the blinds and kept the lights off trying to keep it cool. Thankfully we had the pool and the upstairs to cool off. We was unable to use the theater because of how hot it was. My second complaint, we were a group of 8 people staying 2 nights. I was very unpleased when I realized there was only 2 trash bags for the whole stay. When I called and asked for more I was told “we don’t provide more than 2”. If that is so, I feel like guest should be let known that way you can prepare to bring more supplies. 2 bags would be enough for 2-3 people, but for 8 people we used them in one day. We cooked 6 meals over the weekend. We had planned on staying in all week to avoid Rod Run traffic, but had to go out to get trash bags. Please worn guests to bring their own supplies, it is not usually something I ever have to worry about on a trip.

The air conditioner would not turn off, we called maintenance but they didn't show up so we finally just canceled as we waa checking out early the next morning. The kitchen needed some basic items, such as a can opener. This cabin has potential but needs some serious attention. Not satisfied at all for the price we paid to stay here. Location was great, convenient to grocery stores.

Love this cabin!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our cabin thanks so much for making our vacation experience a 10 out of 10! They were very helpful and informative! My kids loved that there was a community pool nearby as well as the pool and hot tub at the cabin! The cabin was clean and very comfortable and felt like home and had a lot of space!
