The beach is not a mile away and it’s not a public beach. There are 3 beaches in our HOA. One accross the street from the house, one about a block away in front of Papas resort which has great food and drinks and a swimming raft and often live music. And the third a huge one w is the main private beach is about 3/4 mile and we are a gold cart friendly community w golf cart rentals in the area.

I’m dissappointed by his review. I did respond to his many requests ASAP, and apologized that the sleeper sofa was an issue and he said it want a problem. They identified damage from the previous guests dog that we missed during the quick changeover to accomodate their arrival. I acknowledged that the sleeper sofa was broken by a previous guest, and the new one not arriving till January, So I added a double fouton and extra bed all with clean extra sheets and pillows, folded and clean for each of those extra beds. There was an extra set of clean sheets on the sleeper sofa for them to use if they still wanted too. As a rule I don’t leave extra sheets (outside of the extra beds) for my guests to rifle through, so yes, they are hard to find for a reason. my experience is that people will use them on their air mattresses and whatever and leave me with a double load to wash. My license only allows a strict occupancy limit. I rented them the 2 br cottage w an extra sleeper sofa too accomodate their extra guests. If they had Not enough sleeping accommodations for the number that I’m approved for that would be a violation on their part. The holiday season is a very busy time for the bar and restaurants in our tourist area. I do note there is a bar/restaurant next door in my advertising, and many guests have given positive reviews. Although my rates are higher during the holiday and high seasons like all of the properties, I’m still priced below other properties. The owner wanted a refund on his pet fee after they left, and unfortunately I don’t refund those. It’s too difficult to identify pet damage and which guests will responsibly manage their pet so I simply assign a pet fee to all who being a pet . I did offer however to wave the pet fee in the future if they want to return since they seemed to leave the place in good shape , I believe that may have negatively impacted his review.

This group was a nightmare. I was going to refrain from reviewing this group, due to the horrendous experience, but I see they pre emptively complained, and I think future homeowners should know. I would never rent to this group again. My neighbors complained they were extremely loud, very disrespectful to the neighbors, a lot of people and partied late into the night. We were not notified the toilet was backed up, until after they left. it was so plugged up that I had to call a plumber on a sunday who actually had to use a special tool to unplug the toilet. The toilet was plugged with feminine products and paper towels or some type of cloths which never should have been put in the toilet. I am pretty sure they didn't contact me the first night, because we would have likely evicted this group on the spot. there was blood or bbq sauce all over the comforter, they left a horrendous greasy mess allover the grill and broiler, with meat and there were a ton of flies in the house and on the deck by Sunday. they had helped themselves to ALL of my extra sheets, and left me with a huge pile of towels and sheets which exceeded the normal amount. My cleaning crew had to spend 3 extra hours dealing with this mess and billed me for double time and I had to hire a plumber on a weekend to deal with the toilet and had to postpone the next guest arrival. I have been renting to wonderful respectful guests for 10 years and this was one of the most extreme I have seen.

Wow. All I can say is wow. Ladybugs? Spiderwebs? Flies? Internet didn’t work? No one called me to let me know they had any issues. It was November. Not sure why he was complaining about the beach. There are 3 beaches in our HOA, and I’m not sure what else you would call the sand in the swimming area. No one has EVER complained that it shouldn’t be called a “beach” Not sure why he claimed the floors were dirty. They were just cleaned. It sounds like this guest is not possible to please.,
