We had an amazing stay! My family (2 adults, 5 kids) loved our time here. Alan (the house manager) was fantastic and felt like part of our family. He was able to help us schedule a boat tour to the Rosario Islands which was the highlight of my trip, as well as a tour to Palenque which we all really enjoyed. He showed us around, recommended restaurants, and made the absolute best coffee every morning! Ramundo was also amazing, he helped with bags, getting snacks and drinks for the kids, and helped us find Colombia jerseys to wear while we watched World Cup. 10/10, highly recommended. We will absolutely stay again on our next trip to Cartagena.

Our family of 10 (adults and teenagers) converged on the beautiful city of Cartagena from Austin, TX and St. Louis, MO for a wonderful family trip. The property is beatuiful and well maintained. It was a perfect spot in the Walled Historic City on a quiet street. It was a block away from a large grocery store and indoor shopping mall (modern building built around the orignal bull fighting ring). We could walk easily to many wonderful restaurants (best meal was at Mistura Sabores Del Mundo, however didn't have a bad meal anywhere) and shopping near this property. Close enough for our 85yr. mother to walk. The port for water transfers to Rosario Islands or Sunset Cruises was a short walk from this property as well as the Gestsmani area. We appreciated the help and knowledge of Alan, the property manager. Alan was extremely helpful with setting things up for us, information on restaurants and other questions. He cooked breakfast for us on several mornings, which was delicious. He was able to set up transfer to and from the airport. Ramondo was very attentive to our needs as well. Communication was great well before the trip occurred. I highly recommend this property, especially for the fact Alan and Ramondo would take great care of you and make you feel at home.

We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Cartagena! The property was very clean and well maintained, and the location couldn’t have been better. It’s centrally located—just a short distance to the historic town, great shopping, the beach, and the port where you can easily catch water transportation to explore other islands. There’s also a grocery store nearby, which made everything super convenient.Alan and Raymundo, who manage the property, were wonderful. They were attentive, helpful, and made us feel right at home. Alan made the best coffee every morning, which was such a great touch, and he had excellent recommendations for tours, shopping, and dining.Overall, a great experience from start to finish!

We had a great time in Cartagena, largely because of this beautiful property and our hosts Alan and Ramundo, who were attentive to our every need. Our accommodations were excellent and as advertised. Cartagena Birthday trip

It began before check in, it was easy checking it once we arrived. The host of the property was very helpful in providing details on how to get around in the Old City as well as outside of the city. The host also provided a delicious breakfast daily this was an amazing place to stay!

Great time we enjoyed our stay

We had great time at Cartagena. Alan (Property care taker) is very good and present all times of your need. He is always available to provide support during stay. We explored many areas and restaurants and island. House is located into City and very convenient location and walking distance to most of the places.

Very unique and amazing place!

Without a doubt this was one of the coolest properties I've ever stayed at. The location was quite nice, there were comfortable beds and my favorite, hammocks on the roof! But what really made this place special was how great Alan and Charlie were - they took care of us and were always on the spot. 5 Star service!

Perfect Cartagena Vacation!

What a beautifully appointed, well situated spot for a Cartagena vacation! We can honestly say that our group of 8 (family and friends) were completely satisfied: the property and staff truly exceeded our expectations. Beyond the close proximity to all areas of the walled city, Alan and Reymundo were great hosts, attentive and courteous in every respect. Cannot recommend enough.

Beautiful home

Excellent property that is exactly as advertised. Very helpful helping with everything including some problems that had nothing to do with the home or Colombia. Great great staff. Beautiful roof top. Highly recommend.

Vacation in Cartagena

Incredible trip. The house is exactly as it is described and shown in the photos. Alan and the staff were an amazing addition to our trip. They took care of all our needs during the time there. Great wealth of knowledge, able to assist with booking reservations, and took care of us while at the house. Incredible people, and a would highly recommend staying here. Great location to the mall, bars, and restaurants. Will definitely be visiting again and staying at this property.

Fantastic Property

If you want to see what living in the the "Old Town" of Cartagena is like this is the place for you. The house itself was stunning, authentically modernized and so very comfortable. The staff was first rate, going out of their way to help us find our way around the city and, suggesting special activities. They took great care of us (including waiting for us at the front door every evening when we came home), recommending restaurants, etc. I'd recommend this home to everyone.

A beautiful very well appointed house with center courtyard and small pool for cooling off in the heat and a rooftop area to watch the fire works of NYE. Proprietor was very helpful in walking us through the old city and making recommendations for activities. If you don't like a person living in the space, being present at all times to open the door etc-this is not for you. But if you are comfortable with that you get the bonus of having someone to make you breakfast in the morning and make sure all is secure at night. If a light bulb goes out, he is there to fix it. Very comfortable areas for family to gather and visit or get away on the roof. Our grandchildren ages 4 and 8 found this place to be very comfortable and staff very attentive.

Exceeded our expectations - Gold Standard Hospitality

I had the pleasure of staying at this place with 10 of my friends during our time in Cartagena. It is a beautiful spot thats kept in prestine condition and is well located to some of the popular spots in the city without it being to busy. The in-house staff, Alan and Raymond were so kind and accommodating and truly went above and beyond, helping us with booking a private boat tour, giving us great food recommendations, making us breakfast and drinks, and making us feel secure during our stay. I've never experienced this level of hospitally in any of my travels, this place is truly a gold standard. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Catagena and will definitely be staying here again next time I visit!

Absolutely Perfect

Gorgeous Colonial house in the heart of old Cartagena. Beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped from the peaceful courtyard and plunge pool to the rooftop terrace. The house staff, Alan, Raimundo, and Liliana were unobtrusive but always there to take care of us, making drinks, doing laundry, arranging outings--even guiding us to our destinations. We celebrated Thanksgiving and a birthday here, and could not have been happier.

Authentic Colombian Stay

Loved everything about our stay at this authentic casa colombiana. This home was perfect for a family wedding weekend. We were a group of 8. Everyone had their bedroom and private bath. The home has a butler and a cook too!! We picked up some groceries at the Éxito around the corner and the cook made breakfast and a special secret recipe coffee. We also had maid service everyday. We felt safe and comfortable. Thank you to the staff of this lovely home!

Wonderful stay in Cartagena

Our group of 5 couples stayed at the house from Feb 8-15, 2025. The house has 5 bedrooms each with attached bathrooms. The location of the house was very good and very convenient on a quiet street but walkable to everything, including a large supermarket and a shopping mall with many restaurants.We had a wonderful experience. The staff of three people headed by Alan Moore, were extremely responsive to our needs. Alan in particular was great, spoke very good English and walked with us on touring the city, to buy groceries, and shopping etc. We were served hot breakfast of our choice every morning. We certainly recommend this house to anyone planning to visit Cartagena and looking for a house to stay. Highly recommended!!!

And disinfecting frequently touched surfaces, (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remotes, etc. we are using UV light to sterilize Rooms and social areas before guest’s check-in.
