Enhed 1059 er på 10. etage og har en af de mest spektakulære udsigter overalt i Kaanapali. Denne totalrenoverede og professionelt indrettede 10. etage suite er en af de pæneste etværelsesenheder på Whaler.

Enhed 1059 (helt ombygget for få år siden ... sover op til 6 voksne og har 4 senge (master = Cal King, sovesofa = Dronning, Murphy seng twin XL og loveseat sovende = twin size). Alle sengetøj er af højeste kvalitet, herunder de fineste kvalitet sengetøj og puder, der er friske og rene.

Perfect location. Well stocked kitchen and beach supplies were great. Owner was very responsive to questions I had before check in. Can't beat the location for convenience to shops and restaurants and a gorgeous beach. Kids loved snorkeling and parasailing out front and walking to Black Rock for cliff jumping. Would highly recommend! Also, so convenient having a washer/dryer in the unit.

Jim’s place has it all

This is a really nice unit at the Whaler. 2 off oceanfront with spectacular views. We watched whales from the lanai! Really enjoyed the comfortable bed and an amazing shower. Our teens enjoyed the Murphy bed and the L couch for sleeping—no shared bed situation. There are also 2 pull out sofa beds so lots of options. The bathroom layout is also nice, shower is separate from sink/mirror areas so you can get ready while somebody is in the shower. Jim was a great host! We come to the Whaler often (it’s a great place to stay) and will definitely book this unit again.

Perfect Maui Stay

This property is a perfect stay in Maui. It was clean and the beds were all very comfortable. It has a lot of space and the kitchen is well equipped. One of the best things about this property is its location. You are next to Whalers Village which has shops and restaurants galore.

Amazing place!

Jim’s place is amazing and we would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend renting from Jim. Communication was great and the views from the condo were the best!

Family vacation

This unit was perfect for our family of 4. We were able to do all the activities on our list as well as have beach and pool time. We have no complaints, everyone slept comfortable and it was a great location. Would stay again.

Great location

Steps from Whaler’s Village for restaurants and shopping, easy walk to Black Rock for cliff jumping for our teen boys and steps to early morning Catamaran snorkel trip from beach. The remodeled home had more than enough room for our family of 5 and was well stocked w everything we needed. We didn’t use the pool since we prefer the ocean but the tennis and pickle ball courts were great and the grounds w koi pond and waterfalls were beautiful. Highly recommend!

Wonderful condo! Great location!

This was a wonderful place to stay on our family vacation. It is very nicely decorated and very clean. There is a gorgeous view! The Whaler is a great location close to everything you need. We would definitely stay again. Also, Jim was very responsive and had great communication.

Another great stay at the Whaler!

Our second stay at another one of our host, Jim's Whaler units. The view, interior, cleanliness and overall accommodations were once again 5 stars! Jim was fantastic with his communication, the photos were spot on and the view itself was even better than the pics! Thank you for another great vacation!

Wonderful unit, great resort and even greater host.

My family and I stayed at Jim’s unit at the Whalers. Such a beautiful place. Despite it being a difficult stay as we were there during the Lahaina wildfires tragedy, we appreciated how the resort managed the situation. Jim was helpful and always responsive. Thank you Jim and we hope to visit again soon.

Great location, nice amenities, would recommend.

Overall a great stay. Great location and nice staff. Room was nice and well stocked. Half bath isn’t really a half bath, it’s just a sink in the laundry room. There’s a fair amount of noise from the restaurants and beach until about 9pm. Also there’s construction noise from Leilani’s. Overall we had a pleasant stay. Would recommend.

Very clean, just as pictured (if not better), loved the higher chairs on the lanai so you are not eye level with the railing. Great communication throughout the entire process. Couldn't be more satisfied.

The good and the bad

We have stayed at Whaler property many times. The upgrades in this home are visible. This property was very clean. Unfortunately the bedroom TV kept randomly losing connection and requires reset. We spoke to the owner many times about the issue and he did attempt to troubleshoot but was unable to resolve the issue while we were there as we did not want people in and out of the condo numerous times while we were gone. We also noticed that the tub depth is very deep, which for shorter people may be difficult to step into the shower. There are many swim toys and chairs which was very nice. The tall table and chairs on the patio were light, which slide very easily. We are not short but they almost slide away from you when attempting to sit down. The location is wonderful as many activities, shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. Overall we enjoyed our time in Hawaii and the condo with some minor challenges.

Perfect spot on Kaanapali

Our family has returned for our 18th year to Maui and we can’t get enough of this magical place. The Whaler was perfect for our family of four with college kiddos that did not have to share a bed. Lots of moving room in the unit, a full kitchen for eating in and an amazing balcony where we enjoyed breakfast and sunsets. I would recommend Jim Doan and his property for your stay - a very organized process, straight forward and no surprises. We will be back. Mahalo!

Fabulous Condo!

This unit is immaculate and beautifully decorated with lots of high-end extras. Location is perfect, and we especially enjoyed the ocean view on the balcony. We were pleasantly surprised to find it so well stocked ( even condiments, spices, laundry detergent, light hardware, etc, they thought of everything! We've rented other condos before without as much as a grain of salt). The owner was very pleasant and easy to deal with. We'll be going back next year for sure!

The Partridge Family Invasion

It was so nice to stay in this condo for the eleven days we were here. The condo is beautiful and appointed so well. There are seven of us, my husband & I with our five sons ranging in age from 6 to 17. We all felt at home. Our six yr old asked, "Mom, can you bring my teachers here so we can stay here forever?" So this condo not only gets 5 stars from us but from each of the boys as well. We have stayed at the Whaler 8 or 9 times, in various condos but never have we enjoyed the physical comforts & ambiance as much as we did here. It was so pleasant, with a beautiful view both inside and out. The decorating is superb, it made us feel as though we were home. There's nothing like the sound of the waves & breezes to instantly make one relaxed. It is amazingly spacious despite being a studio. We just can't say enough. The grounds have been designed & maintained so well. We are an extended family of 32, all staying at the Whaler. Twenty are grandchildren all of whom were fascinated by the Koi Pond (as were the adults.) The pool is always perfect, and then there's the beach. The Whaler is such a great place to stay! The ocean, the climate, the proximity of restaurants & shopping, not to mention the availability of so many great activities, makes for a wonderful "home."

Great Home Base!

This condo is exactly as shown in the photos but, even better in person. It's recently and nicely upgraded, big and perfect for a couple, although a family would be comfortable there too. We loved the location - right next to the best restaurants, shopping and beach on this part of the island. Monkeypod (a three minute walk) is one of the best restaurants on Maui (Mama's Fish House is our favorite) and Monkeypod's Mai Tai's are THE best and they have great live music every night! Make a reservation on the patio to watch the sun go down during dinner. Hula Grill Beach Bar is cool too. It's fun to wake up early and walk the boardwalk way down to Starbucks then grab an acai bowl for breakfast at Choice Health Bar (downstairs in the Whaler Shopping Center) and then cruise back down the other way to Black Rock for some killer snorkeling. The condo pool is small but, we prefer the ocean anyhow (when its calm). The parking is easy and we loved having a washer/dryer at the end of our vacation. Jim has thought of everything, the bathroom is huge with lots of counter space, hooks and tons of storage. We also appreciated the comfortable sectional (NOT made out of bamboo like many Maui condos have), soft towels and very comfortable bed, tide, dryer sheets, lots of hangers, iron, blow dryer, soap, everything you need in a kitchen and spices and EVOO, etc in the pantry. (Obviously his guests are kind and leave what they don't use behind, there was pasta and 1/2 a bottle of good whiskey in the pantry!) LOL. The balcony view towards the ocean is fantastic. The view straight out over the shopping center isn't and we did get some noise from the restaurant trash pick up and deliveries but, we get up and out early so, it wasn't a major deal. The ocean views from both rooms are so relaxing - we had AMAZING sunsets every night. Also Lahaina and all the fun restaurants and shops along Front Street are just a 5-10 minute drive. (Try Kimos, Fleetwoods and Aloha Mixed Plate.) We can't wait to come back. This condo is a very good choice!

The Perfect Condominium

Beautifully remodeled and spotless upon arrival. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, coffee maker, towels and more. View from the lanai is stunning with the island of Lanai in the distance. Perfect location for Kaanapali beach, restaurants and shopping. The host, Jim was an exceptional communicator and very accommodating. This was our first VRBO stay and we were pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend this unit.
