Fantastic view! Quiet and away from the touristy part of Avalon, which we loved. Having the golf cart was super convenient- easy to get to Vons to pick up supplies to make our own dinners

Great view and location. We didn’t mind the stairs and great snorkeling beach below. Very outdated with everything falling apart and quite dirty. Advertised sleeps 5 but it really sleeps 2. Weird uncomfortable couch and chair they are calling a bed. No sheets that I could find for my 14 year old son and zero amenities. For the price I spent, not worth it.

When we receive a negative review it's a bummer, when the guest is inaccurate we need to respond. Never do we suggest this condo sleeps 5. Check the description that states, " its against the law to have 5 guests..Only 4 are allowed. Guest Did Not realize the sofa is a eurolounger that IS comfortable when it's folded down. Also there is a lounge chair that folds out to be a single sleeper. If he would have asked for help I could have explained things to him and we Always leave enough linens for 4...if there is an oversight, if he let us know, we would've accommodated him , no matter what

We rate this as a four instead of a three because of the ocean view. Nothing can beat sitting on the balcony watching the ocean. That being said it needs maintenance. The bath tub coating was peeling off. The dishwasher was about to fall out of the cabinet. The pots/pans were very worn, but otherwise kitchen was functional. The A/C is not functional since the exhaust vent of the portable unit is hard to vent outside. Luckily we slept with the door open to hear the ocean. Golf cart needs a tuneup. Be prepared to walk down several (62) stair to reach the unit. Of course you will climb them to leave.

The host was prompt and helpful with communication. The place was very clean. The balcony views were spectacular. The building complex was great. The listing was inaccurate in its statement that the unit is for 4. Really only good for a couple and 1 kid for the futon style couch which required the spare mattress to be on top. Some upgrades and furniture/ kitchen additions are needed to make this unit worth the price. The golf cart was a nice addition but it also needs some repairs. Would stay in this unit again if renovated and upgraded.

Overall the room is nice, and you can’t beat the view. The balcony is shared, in case you’re not into that. There was some garbage left behind in the bathroom, probably just a minor oversight. Overall would recommend. Nice cozy spot.

Thank you for the concise, nice review. The pictures of the view just can't do justice to the majestic color of the Pacific and serene nature of the early morning coast
