WOW! The chalet was perect for me and my elderly mother. The view across to the needles is absolutely stunning. It was clean and comfortable. The decking is large and fabulous but does get some bird poop as it's under the tree. However there is a hose that you can just use to hose it down and then it's lovely again. The host was extremely helpful and lovely. She left us tea and coffee and everything you need is there. The outdoor heated pool is plenty big enough to get a good swim in and lovely and warm. Out of season, you don't need to book the pool. We didn't use the clubhouse. The quay is just a few minutes one way and the noisy lobster restaurant, cafe, shop and ice-cream parlour is not far the other way. We loved it that we could sit and watch the world go by, along the promonade and on the water (boats, paddle boarders, wind surfers etc). The highlight for me was the beach saunas I could walk to. Open all day from 8.45am, which is a great way to start the day, with a sauna and sea swim. Book online, only 15 for a communual sauna, with lovely people. The chalet is perfectly placed for a relaxing seaside escape. The weather was kind to us and we didn't want to leave! I thought it was a lot of money but then there was only 2 of us. It's not too expensive for 4 people sharing and considering it's RIGHT ON THE SEA, it was worth it. I would definitely go back. The parking space is not outside the chalet but is very close by, and no problem at all. Highly recommended.
