This is an amazing property. The owners have put a lot of work into to make it a wonderful experience for the traveler.I highly recommend this lovely cabin if you are traveling near Moose Pass.

Charming Cabin

The cabin is set in a quiet forest with fern-covered grounds and a small steam. It has beautiful woodwork and unique, lovely features. Potted flowers all about and flowers inside to greet us. It was a lovely stay and we plan to return.

Beautiful cabin

Property was even nicer in person than the ad implied. Property owners,Jan and Judy were a pleasure to chat with. Jan pointed us in the right direction for some fun excursions around Seward. Exit Glacier in Kenai Fjords NP and Lowell Point.

Magical stay

Beautiful and Charming!

This little cabin is so cool and unique. It was so fun to stay there. It was so relaxing to sit outside and read a book with a cup of coffee and listen to the little creek.

Beautiful Cabin!

This is such a lovely little cabin sitting next to a small brook. Very peaceful and serene setting. Host was friendly and everything went smoothly! Highly recommend if you're looking for peace and quiet.

Charming Craftsman Cabin

We were delighted by this secluded and charming cabin. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is amazing, it's in a great location and Jan is a fantastic host. This cabin proved to be the perfect place to wind down our long days of fishing and exploring the Kenai Peninsula.

Moose Pass

Adorable, quiet and peaceful cabin tucked into the trees made this rental a great find. We really enjoyed all of the artistic touches inside and outside of the cabin and on the trail to the cabin and bathhouse. All in all this cabin is wonderful and we hope to stay here again.

Quiet get-a-way

This cabin is just so cute and adorable tucked off in the woods. It is a short walk to your own private bath house and sits right next to a small creek. The wood burning heat is amazing to start up in the evenings to stay warm!

Perfect cabin in the woods

The title says it all... the cabin was perfect! The babbling brook was just the right volume, the forest noise were perfect, the walk thru the trees to the cabin was enough to see why the place is called Fern Hollow!

Nothing Short of Amazing

Absolutely gorgeous! The cabin, the property, the babbling brook, just awesome! Hosts are very courteous and friendly. The trail down to the cabin is short, 30 yds or so and well maintained. Will definitely be back and miss it already. Thanks Jan for such an amazing stay.

My friends and I came down to run the Lost Lake race, and this was the perfect place for us to stay! This cabin is so comfy and cozy, the 4 of us felt right at home. Beautiful woodwork, we just loved the feel of the place. Great location, close to some great hikes like Carter/Crescent Lake 1 mile down the road! We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!!

Beautiful cabin

Beautiful spot close to the highway, super friendly hosts (with a sweet old dog, who is also very friendly) the babbling stream that runs by gives the fire pit a great ambiance. The wood stove only needs to be burned for a few minutes to get the cabin warm, and it holds the heat really well. It's great to have a cute cabin experience, but also to have a fully functional and heated bathhouse with toilet, sink, and a hot shower.

Alaska Vacation

What a beautiful spot to experience all the beauty of Alaska!! Jan met and welcomed us on arrival. He started a fire in the wood stove in our cabin to make it cozy! The cabin and bath house are so quaint and beautiful. We enjoyed the peace and serenity of this perfect cabin in the woods! Thank you Jan for everything ❤️

The huge picture window looked out onto a deep green forest. The near by stream provided a lovely melody every time we went outside.

10/10 Cabin

Beautiful cabin in a serene private setting. Location is convenient to trips all along the Kenai Peninsula. The cabin was a true piece of craftsmanship. We were able to chat with the owner who built the cabin and you can tell they really care about and put a lot of time and effort into building and maintaining the space. The inside of the cabin was spotless and very well accommodated. It was very comfortable for me and my wife. The bath house, a very short walk from the cabin, was very clean and all necessities were provided. The outdoor space is perfect for an evening fire by the babbling brook. We can’t wait to come back. Truly 10/10.

Relaxing stay

This is exactly what I was hoping for when I rented this place. Lots of trees, the sound of the creek running next to the cabin. It’s just a short walk up the hill to the bath house. Jan was very pleasant to chat with and made us feel comfortable. The detail he put into building the cabin is amazing! The only downside is that you can hear the traffic on the highway but it didn’t bother us any. You can’t see the traffic at all though. I would recommend this place for anyone who enjoys seclusion over city life.

Enchanting cottage

We had the most enchanting stay at this delightful cottage in moose pass. Wow! The woodland setting with even a brook was absolutely delightful. I slept in the bunk and loved loved loved waking up to the magical kingdom of the fairies through the giant picture window. The bath house is not attached and up the little trail but we found it a part of the experience and not a bother in the least. I will definitely be back! My guests were just as delighted with the experience 🧚‍♀️

Cutest cabin ever!

Jan, a master craftsman, put a lot of love into this cabin in the woods. We arrived on a cold Sept evening, and at first I was like what did i sign up for? But a fire in the wood stove made the place warm and cozy in 5 min, and the heater in the bathroom did the same! It was all amazing with fridge and microwave and great woodsy view out the big windows. I knew my husband would love it, and he did! Thank you, Jan! And his wife’s Zudy’s in Seward was awesome too!

Judy manages their Zudy's cafe in Seward Alaska located on resurrection Bay next to the Alaska Sealife center.
