Beautiful house and resort

Had a fantastic time here - the house is beautiful and clean, the views can't be beat, and the location is perfect. Would love to come back again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a perfect lake house vacation.

This property was exactly what we hoped for as a family trip to celebrate our daughter’s birthday! It met the needs of 3 different generations! The views were absolutely breathtaking…easily enjoyed from inside the house and definitely from the spacious deck! The added amenities were an unexpected addition to this property…a private beach, pool, and poolside bar were a hit with the entire family…the kids totally enjoyed the bouncy house on the property also…And…Patricia is absolutely the Hostess with the Mostest!!! She brought perfect choices of gift bags for the kids and added home baked sweets for the rest of us….Tenting this home was the perfect choice for us!

Family trip to the lake

We had an amazing time at Lake Winnipesaukee. This property was in a perfect location with beautiful views of the lake from the front deck and kitchen/dining area. We utilized the Akwa Marina daily and loved having a pool, restaurant, and lake access steps away from our rental. It was a very short walk to town as well. The property owners were very friendly and responsive. We highly recommend this property!

Family getaway

Pat was really easy to work with and available when needed. Being able to have access to yacht club amenities was definitely our highlight. From the pool, hot tub, private beach area and restaurant it made it easy to keep the family occupied especially with our 3 year old and 9 month old. With a short walk to weirs beach and the boardwalk there was no problem with any night life. Would definitely stay again in this same location or any other locations Pat has.

Amazing getaway

We just returned from a wonderful stay at Akwa Marina! With two kids under five, the location and use of the marina was PERFECT for us. Pat was extremely welcoming and super available for any questions. We had a wifi issue that they dealt and resolved immediately. House was really excellent for our needs - spacious, comfortable, and clean. Highly recommend!!

Loved it!

We can not say enough good things about our stay. Pat and Dick were wonderful and attentive when we needed them, they had goodies for us and their house was welcoming and comfortable.The view from the deck was my favorite part of each morning and evening. The walk to the lake was easy and so nice to know we were so close to "home". We will absolutely be back! Thank you Pat and Dick!!

Location location locationHouse was perfect location and amenities for our family with young children with access to the pool and restaurant on-site and many other activities, restaurants and shopping within walking distance or a short drive awayThe views from the large deck were amazing specifically at sunrise The cleaning at turnover and building maintenance could be better but overall we had a great vacation at this location

Diamond in the rough

Pat and Dick were fantastic! Right from the pre-booking stage through to the end. They went above and beyond to accommodate us in every way possible. Would absolutely stay again. We travelled with our 5 yr old and Pat was very gracious to leave a welcome gift for our son, which he loved! Thank you!!!

Great location great beach dissapointed with only one working TV and the pool bar being closed two days. Also very important no fireworks can ever be seen from the deck. Huge disappointment because we invited guests

Nice home in a great location! Wonderful hostess, great communicator. What makes this property special is the close proximity to the pool and beach associated with the club. Complete open access to this private club and all the members were very nice people. Great view of the Meredith Bay area of Lake Winnipesaukee. The deck overseeing all this was also a big plus. We hope to return!

Great location for checking out Laconia

We spent labor day weekend here and had a great time. Walking distance to the little downtown area was nice and the access to the boat club was enjoyable. Laconia itself was a little biker heavy for our tastes, but we really enjoyed visiting out the Kellerhaus, Witches brew, and the town of Meredith. Just spending time on the deck overlooking the lake filled a lot of our time as well

Read the peppery description carefully

This was a lovely property in a perfect location with great amenities such as a pool and hot tub. The owners were helpful. We appreciated their helpfulness and presence on the property, but if you aren’t looking for involved property owners this might not be a good fit for your family. While the property is lovely, two things made it a poor fit for our family. 1) the fact that guests need to supply pillows, sheets, blankets and towels. This was an inconvenience for us because we arrived at the property by air meaning that we had to purchase such things upon arrival and had to leave them behind. There was a Walmart nearby, but this was inconvenient and added about $150 to the cost of our stay 2) The cable is VERY basic. It was more basic then we had expected and did not have any programming for kids. We ended up buying Roku and it all worked out. Both of these things were mentioned in the property description, but just be aware in case you are flying to the location or need more tv services. Still we had a good stay overall, but just read the description carefully to make sure that it will be a good fit for your family.

Great place in a perfect location

Plenty of space, nice- clean house, great views - owners were very nice and came to see us when we arrived. Answered a couple questions quickly, prior to our arrival. Definitely looking forward to staying here again!
