Gæstehuset er en del af vores store gård. Det er et privat område på anden sal med to soveværelser, et møde / spiseplads og badeværelse. Vi har nu et lille køkken med komfur / ovn, apt. størrelse køleskab, vask, mikrobølgeovn, kaffemaskine, brødrister. Vi er beliggende i hjertet af Amish land i Lancaster County væk fra stress og jag, hvor du vil høre lyden af hest og buggies. En et værelse skole hus er næste dør og fuld af aktivitet i skolernes måneder med kvarterets børn. Byerne samleje og Bird-In-Hand er kun 10-15 minutter væk.

Five-Star Stay

Peace and Quiet

The apartment was absolutely beautiful, super clean and very welcoming (my teens had a container of homemade cookies waiting for them). Anything we might have needed for our long weekend was there. Very quiet area and surrounded by farmland. Would happily recommend and go back.

Amish country

Check in was a breeze. Delightful apartment in the middle of a country setting. Short distance to main tourist attractions. Everything was lovely, wonderful hosts and delicious cookies waiting for us on arrival.

What a lovely weekend stay

This is one of the nicest properties that we have stayed at through VRBO. The upstairs apartment was so lovely and had everything that we needed for our weekend stay. The host met us when we arrived and she was kind enough to leave a plate of cookies for us, which was a very nice touch. I hope to come back for other visits to Lancaster and stay here again.

Peaceful, Lovely Retreat

The property was lovely, comfortable, and peaceful. The owners were kind, informative and even had tasty cookies waiting in the kitchen area!!! The location met our needs for visiting family and friends along with catching great walks and some meals.

Beautiful home, wonderful host

Peaceful Country Setting

This was an absolutely perfect stay for me & my husband. We were out exploring each day and had a quiet restful evening in the home of a lovely couple. We will book this location the next time we’re in the area.

Home away from home Spring Break 2024

We love staying here when we are visiting Lancaster. The place is very clean, large and welcoming. The added cookies and treats are a perfect addition. This is our second time staying and will definitely be back. It is a great place to relax and unwind from the busyness of life!

Awesome place !

I can’t begin to say enough great things about this place ! Extremely clean , warm and welcoming. Nestled in the beautiful countryside yet close enough to all the attractions . Warmly invited with cookies, waters in the fridge . I’ve stayed in a lot of Vrbos and this is one of the best !

Charming apartment in Lancaster County

The apartment was very cozy and clean. We felt welcome on arrival. Close to everything that we needed in a few minutes drive. Charlotte was very accommodating in our communication. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

second stay

This was the second year that my friend and I stayed for the weekend. We come out for the Sight and Sound Theater. This place is so beautiful and relaxing! We have already booked for next summer! Highly recommend!!

Totally the BEST....

The apartment, the setting, the hosts, cannot be any better. The sunrise and sunsets are worth the trip Our daughter, who is a local, was very impressed. If you find anything awry at this VRBO, it's your problem.

Sight and Sound visit

We truly enjoy visiting the Lancaster area but do not like hotels - this VRBO was priced appropriately and offered muck more than a hotel could. The owners provided a continental breakfast and all of the comforts of home! This home is in a very quiet farming community yet minutes to the community of Ephareta. Restaurants, gas stations and pharmacy s are minutes from this beautiful home.

Absolutely wonderful stay!!

We enjoyed a wonderful girls’ weekend at this gorgeous home!! The apartment is immaculate and beautifully decorated. Beds were comfortable and we appreciated the extra welcoming touches such as breakfast, yummy cookies, coffee and half and half, and homemade bread and butter. The location was quiet and peaceful yet close to area attractions. The check in/check out process was straight forward and simple. I would definitely return to this lovely home on future trips and highly recommend it to others !! Thank you for a fantastic stay and for your hospitality!!!

Gem found on countryside

The living space was larger than expected. Kitchen was stocked with everything we would need. The location was quite and peaceful. We were about 1/2 hour from sight and sound and American music theatre. The owners were on sight and were very nice. We will be going back for sure.

Basketball tournament weekend

It was do nice after spending time at loud and crowded basketball tournament to come back to a quiet and comfortable apartment. The apartment had everything we needed for the 3 of us. It was clean and owners provided great hospitality (homemade cookies, bottled water, coffee with cream). It does not have and oven or stovetop( says that in details), but we were able to cook breakfast everday using electric fry pan, toaster or microwave). Just wish it was not so hot outside ,so we could have enjoyed outside sitting area Will definitely recommend to others or use again.

A hidden gem!

This property was wonderful. The setting is very relaxed. It was very clean. It is beautifully furnished and very tastefully decorated. Charlotte was very welcoming. She even baked a fresh plate of chocolate chip cookies for us. The fridge was nicely stocked with milk, juice, yogurt, and blueberries. She also had bagels, cream cheese, granola and cereal for us. There is a microwave, dishes, coffee maker & wonderful local coffee in the fridge. There is also a washer & dryer in the closet in the bathroom which was nice since I got a stain on my shirt and needed to wash it. I highly recommend this property. I have already shared the listing with friends and would definitely stay again. It was centrally located to all we wanted to do in Lancaster Co. with a beautiful view. It is a second floor property. It also has a den area and tv and a 6 person dining table. I think you will enjoy your stay. :) Definitely a 5 star VRBO.

As Mennonites, we have lived all but two years of our married life, and raised our four children on the farm, 42 years. Just this past year we built a new house up the road and daughter, son-in-law & 6 children moved on the farm. Elvin will continue to work on the farm with the family. We have been blessed with 4 children, all married and now have 25 grandchildren. Two of our daughters live close by, another daughter lives in Indiana where her husband is administrator of Elnora Bible Institute and our son lives in Alaska working in mission aviation for MARC (mission aviation repair center). We are so thankful to have the farm stay in the family.

This property is a very peaceful, quiet getaway, yet not far to local attractions. Kitchen Kettle in small town of Intercourse is only 15 min drive through rolling farm back country roads. Sight & Sound is 30 min. away where you can see the Bible come alive with professional actors. Also have outlet shopping about half hour away.
