Debra, Thank you so much for the wonderful review and for highlighting the gorgeous views, comfortable beds, and well-equipped kitchen! It’s the highest compliment to hear that your husband wants to return. At the same time, we sincerely apologize for the frustration you experienced regarding the cell service and the initial Wi-Fi connection. Because of our secluded, natural setting, cellular coverage can indeed be spotty depending on the provider. To make things much smoother for future guests, we make sure and provide the Wi-Fi network details the day before your arrival, hopefully eliminating the need to drive down the road to get phones to work. We have the same issues with our cellular service when we return home during the summer. Our best reception (without wifi) is always on the dock (especially with a cup of coffee in hand, or an adult beverage!). We also greatly appreciate you letting us know about the hair dryer; over the years we have left one for our renters. I believe in our tenure we have had about 3 hair dryers stolen. We provide information on the VRBO listing that the hair dryer is not available. However, I believe this summer I will be mounting "hotel hair dryers" that cannot be removed and see if that works. We would love to welcome you and your husband back whenever your travels bring you to the area again! Mark

We have had our hair dryers stolen in the past so we do not provide them at the house. We have provided a large 2in1 shampoo bottle as a complimentary toiletry for our guests. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the amazing views, the cleanliness, and that everyone got a great night's sleep (and that the quiet floors helped keep things peaceful with the kids!). At the same time, we sincerely apologize for the experience you had with the heater in the downstairs bedroom. That is certainly not the level of comfort we want our guests to experience. The electrical wall heaters all work but can be noisy and require a lot of electricity to work and are not the most efficient. We are working to install a ductless ac/heat system in the downstairs living room and bedroom that are similar with the one we have upstairs. We also appreciate your note regarding the kitchen lighting and will look into adding better illumination to make food prep a bit more convenient.
