Leder efter et sted at bo i Arthur? Dette Cape Cod bygget i 1951 har 4 soveværelser og kan sove op til 10 med ekstra Queen size sovesofa. Vores familievenlige hjem tilbyder en en komplet køkken, smukke trægulve, trådløst internet, tv, dvd-afspiller, to bil garage og gårdhave. Plus nyde vores kælder rec værelse med et poolbord, bordtennisbord og enorme tavle for de unge og barnlige sjæle. Vi er inden for gåafstand af Downtown Arthur og den lokale park og kun en blok fra Moultrie-Douglas County Fair, Arthur Fælles pool, de Freedom Celebration Fyrværkeri og Pauly s BBQ.

Vores hus er kun få minutter fra The Great Pumpkin Patch, Yoder s Country Kitchen og andre restauranter plus området Amish butikker. Arthur er mindre end tyve minutter væk fra Arcola, theTanger Outlet Mall i Tuscola eller Lake Shelbyville og The Little Theatre på The Square i Sullivan.

This place worked very well for our weekend. The host was very responsive and accommodating when the snow storm came through. Gave us extra time because of the circumstances. House was warm even at 1 degree outside. Would recommend

Amazing house in a beautiful location

This house is perfect for a large family or for a couple of us hosting a family dinner. The hosts are very communicative and friendly and helpful and I will definitely be staying here again!

Returning Home

Came for a large extended family reunion just outside of Arthur. I found the Walker Family Inn and it was a perfect location and size for our families. Beautiful wood floors and cabinets, and nice touches of some antique furniture pieces. Melodi and Tanya were great hosts. Tanya went through the house with us, and both checked in via texts regularly. Highly recommended.

This is a beautiful family home in a quaint area. There is much to do within Amish Country. Tanya and Melodi are amazing hosts who provide a spotless place to stay, proactively communicate, provide reliable information, and are just so nice! I will be staying here again! Lynne

Cute Cape Cod home

The home is just as it's pictured. It was perfect for our girls getaway weekend. The hosts are friendly and readily available for any questions we had.

I could have sworn the rental said washer and dryer . To find it was a extra charge ??? Was I mistaken ? Or was that , listed ??otherwise everything was great . And very accommodating

Sibling get away

Clean home with plenty of amenities only need to bring food and clothing. Walking distance to town and quiet area. Owners very easy to communicate with and did not disturb our weekend.

Delightful!

This home is a delightful place to stay. I host a group of 25 high school students for dinner two nights in a row and they love hanging out here. There is a pool table, ping pong table, etc in the basement and plenty of room outside for some of them to hang out and eat and relax. The house it spotless, comfortable and spacious. The owners are very communicative and helpful. I have stayed here four times and plan on continuing our tradition.

Great house with plenty of room, VERY clean and the internet flawless. Only complaint is the patio out back is not family friendly (loud X-rated neighbor).

Perfect place to stay for GIRLS TRIP

It was absolutely perfect. First off, let me say that I use VRBO quite frequently; I have never had better communication than what took place with these owners. We are 6 mature adult women who came to attend the Broom Festival and just have a weekend away. The house was just right for us. Everyone had their own bed, no need to double up. We made the bath and a half work well by rotating shower schedules. Living room cozy for all of us to sit around to chat, read or watch TV. Back yard is nice with a fire pit and plenty of chairs to sit around. It was delightful in the evening. This house had everything we needed it. Highly recommend this home for your GIRLS TRIPS or FAMILYS.

Sisters and cousins get away

This house was perfect for us. There were 7 adult females looking for a place to relax, visit with each other and do a little sight seeing. We were from 3 different states and met here. The kitchen was perfect to sit around the table and talk and the living room was large enough to be comfortable for visiting with enough chairs and sofa. We went out to eat and the food in this area is outstanding. The house is within easy walking distance to Pauly's Bar B Q and an easy drive to other places. The Amish community is very interesting. We had lunch at an Amish home that was only one of many highlights. We ate too much, but totally enjoyed our visit.

Great place in small town Illinois

Looks to have been their family home. Very well maintained. Big enough for our extend family of 9. Beautiful house in a beautiful town. Lots of Amish carriages in town.

Short Notice Booking

After having to cancel a cabin on the Illinois River 4 days prior to occupying it because of flooding and inaccessible roads, I was lucky enough to come across The Walker Inn listing. Being in high panic because a group of us were getting together to celebrate birthdays and it was Memorial Day Weekend I had little hope of finding something in the price range of the cabin we had booked. I contacted the owner at lunchtime and by the time my afternoon break took place the reservation had been approved. Whew! After speaking with the owner and getting the information I needed, we just let things go on their own. The house is well cared for, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There were 5 adults in our party, all got individual beds with only 2 people having to share a bedroom. Adequate seating in the living room, at the dining table and out on the covered back patio. It was a lovely time, we played board games on the picnic table, grilled Fred Flintstone sized steaks on the BBQ grill, bring your own charcoal, and just relaxed and chatted. The beds were all comfortable, air conditioning runs great, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Close to downtown Arthur, and we highly recommend Pauly's BBQ just around the corner from the house for dinner. It was delicious. Should have gone here forMonday lunch rather than Yoder's Kitchen carry-out, as that was a terrible let down. Great communication with the owner, highly recommend this house when touring Illinois Amish Country.

Best part of our trip

This is a lovely comfortable home with plenty of room to socialize - this was the best part of our stay, the beds were super comfortable and the shower wonderful. The hosts provided things to do and see. This is a nice home, very upkept. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect for us!

This was our third time staying in this house and it's just perfect! We host dinner for 30 two nights in a row for a high school track team and this is a great place for that! First of all the house is spotless! Second, Tanya is very friendly, accommodating and helpful. She helped my daughter and I unload a car full of pots and pans and groceries in very hot temperatures and did so with a smile on her face! Third, the basement has a pool table, ping pong and foos ball and the boys loved hanging out after dinner. We hope Tanya will continue to let us stay for years to come!

Arthur Getaway

Great place for a quiet family vacation in the heart of Illinois Amish farmland. The house was comfortable and our family enjoyed playing pool and darts in the basement. Our daughter's graduation in Champaign was not too far to commute (45 minutes), and we'd like to explore more of downtown Arthur the next time we're in the area. Cinnamon rolls left by our hosts were excellent!

We feel very fortunate to have grown up in small town America and enjoy the many amenities our village has to offer. You can walk or bike ride within minutes to the fair, fireworks, restaurants, schools, parks and downtown. You can also relax on the back patio or play pool or ping pong in our basement rec room.

Built in 1951, we have called this "home" since 1968. It still retains it's beautiful woodwork, mid-century modern styling, arched doorways and many unique built-ins. Even though we don't currently live in Arthur, we come back many times throughout the year to visit friends, family and enjoy the festivals. It is and always will be "home"!
