La Dolce Vita = Det søde liv! Nyd betagende havudsigt og spektakulære solnedgange fra alle værelser i denne komfortable luksusvilla hjem på Chincoteague Bay! Hver af de 4 soveværelser har eget privat bad. Der er soveværelser på begge niveauer med soveværelse på første sal. MBR-suiten har eget bad med boblebad og privat balkon på vandet. Der er også et mindre soveværelse med to tvillinger på første niveau. De to soveværelser ovenpå er private vinger ud af spillelokalet. Spillelokalet har to separate spilleborde, som både unge og gamle vil nyde. Checkers med børnebørnene! Der er adgang til badeværelset på dette niveau for gæster, der bruger sovesofaen i spillelokalet. Køkkenet åbner til spisestue og opholdsstue områder, der er flankeret af gulv til loft vinduer og katedral loft. Hvis du besøger off season, er der en pejs i stuen til din nydelse. Fra stuen finder du et stort alt-vejr vandrutschebane, der åbner dækene. Det er et perfekt sted for dine sammenkomster. La Dolce Vita er et smukt hjem med en gennemtænkt grundplan, som du virkelig vil nyde. Og havnefronten har nye skotter - du kan nemt krabbe, fiske og starte kajakker fra dette område.

The kitchen was well stocked & had everything you would need. The place was beautiful & it was so relaxing to sit out on the deck in very comfortable chairs and watch the water & stars at night. There was a problem with the A/C when we checked in but we received an instant response when we notified them and a technician came out and replaced a part so it was up and running again in no time. Customer service was excellent. There was only 1 pack ‘n play but we only needed one so that worked out fine for us. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Scenic stay

This was our second year coming to “the yellow beach house” (as my kids call it). We’ve loved both visits. The calm, shallow water and all the wildlife is great for young kids. The house is well stocked with all you need for your stay and the sunsets and beautiful! Had kayaks delivered to the house to explore the wildlife area and enjoyed that adventure. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience! The house was really clean. The kitchen was stocked with pretty much anything you could need. There was a lot of space for everyone. So many games and books to choose from for down time.The arcade games were especially a hit with the kids. All of our questions about the property were answered quickly both before and during our stay. The only thing we’d say is that it was a bummer to not be able to use the canoe that is there. Also, we suggest having the laundry service for the property use unscented/free&clear type detergent. The scent of the towels and sheets was a little overpowering.

Fantastic house! House was super-clean, bedrooms were all good size, kitchen was well-equipped - there weren’t any tools you’d need for cooking that it didn’t already have, plus plenty of dishes, glasses and silverware. The house is super-well made. If you were in a bedroom, you barely heard any noise from the main living area. Also, loved the house’s side room. Was great for game night and large group dinners- and was super soundproof from the rest of the house. All beds and furniture were in great condition and comfortable. Love the quiet road it was on and the views, especially at sunset. Love the back deck and private pier. Would definitely return again.

Chincoteague Magic 2.0

We first experienced Chincoteague six years ago and were afraid to return bc we had such a magical vacation. We returned this time with my sister's family in the ever-so-lovely La Dolce Vita. There was enough space for everyone to spread out and the views were spectacular. We loved having dinners on the screened in porch area. We were also excited to find the bay is very shallow which made it less worrisome with small children around. It was warm and wonderful to wade in....plus there was an abundance of seafood for the picking! The house and our stay couldn't have been more perfect (and just as magical as our first visit to Chincoteague)! We can't wait to return to this house!

Stunning views in a gorgeous and clean home!

We absolutely LOVED our stay in this beautiful waterfront home. As soon as you walk into the house, you see straight through to the beautiful water and dock. There is a water view form every room in the house! We sat on the dock the first night to watch the breathtaking sunset. You will not be disappointed in these views! The house was super clean and comfortable. We came down for Thanksgiving and the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed! It’s fully stocked and convenient. Again while you’re in the kitchen cooking, you can see the water! The beds are really comfortable and we loved that the owners had games and puzzles for family time! It was also such a nice surprise to have 2 pies in the refrigerator for thanksgiving as a gift for our stay! We had all the food and we’re going to try and find pies on the island, but we didn’t have to! Such a nice touch! The owner really takes care of this property and has nice little touches all around the house! We fell in love with the island and the location and can’t wait to come again! Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful memory for our family!

Great gathering place!

We loved the stunning views of the water. The house also has lots of cookware and bakeware. We made Thanksgiving dinner and had everything we needed.

October 2022 Stay

Our party consisted of six women, all interested in needlework. LaDolce Vita provided the perfect location for a serene stitching retreat. We were delighted with the spacious living space and the beautiful vista of the Bay. We are already making plans for a repeat next year!

July 2022 Stay

The house was beautiful. I've renting many other vacation rentals and have never seen a rental as well equipped with everything you need as La Dolce Vita! The Views are spectacular. The sunsets were amazing. The bay is so shallow the kids were able to play in the water without worrying. We were there for Pony Swim week and it was so much fun. Something everyone should do at least once. Its truly amazing to go to all the events! And the fireworks at the closing was the perfect ending to a very memorable week. Your customer service is above and beyond. A huge asset to your business is Candie Walker. She was so helpful. She really made a difference!

May 2022 Stay

We had an amazing time at this house! We've never stayed that far down the north end of the island but it was beautiful! We had a sunny start to the trip but then it got very windy off of the water. The house was swaying with the wind but personally I didn't mind. I love this company and loved the house! Very clean and well equipped!

La Dolce Vita

Beautiful home is a fantastic location. Plenty of room inside and outside. Definitely a great set up for multiple couples or teens that want a place to retreat as each bedroom as a bathroom and TV. Lots of games/puzzles to keep everyone entertained.

September 2021 Stay

This was our 3rd year in this house (40 years of our annual pilgrimage) we loved it. We have enjoyed ourselves and this beautiful house everyone year. We have already booked it again for next year. However, there are few things that we hope will be improved upon/fixed by next year. Off the top of our heads the things that we'd like to see fixed before next year are the following: new throw rugs; replace stair carpeting; fix/replace upstairs toilet paper holder; real kitchen chairs as benches are pretty tough on the back (especially for us older people); new living room furniture as the current furniture is very old and uncomfortable; the outside furniture is full of mildew and really needs to be powerwashed. Just basic maintenance. FYI - we stopped renting Osprey Nest because the owner didn't maintain the house. See you next year. Cindy & Al Bernhofer
