We-Dunn-It er et dobbelt niveau hjem med 2 soveværelser og 3 badeværelser, der kan sove op til 6 gæster. Køkkenet er fuldt udstyret med alt hvad du behøver til madlavning og spisning og indeholder en opvaskemaskine. Stuen har en vidunderlig stenpejs (brænde inkluderet i sæsonen), et fladskærms satellit-tv og WiFi. Det tredje badeværelse er placeret i bonusrummet med fladskærms-tv med satellitkanaler samt en vaskemaskine og tørretumbler. Udenfor på øverste dæk er der en gas-grill, bord og stole til madlavning, spisning eller afslapning om aftenen væk. Det nedre dæk er helt beskyttet og har siddepladser til skygge på varme solrige dage. Hjemmet er perfekt beliggende for at være naturligt køligt om sommeren. Om vinteren lindrer den massive stenpejs den køligste dag. Denne hytte er et hyggeligt skisportssted eller et praktisk forår / sommer & efterår tilbagetog. Udforsk Wawonas steder, vandretur med det lokale vandfald eller bare indstil vibrationen i moderens natur ud af det ekspansive bagdæk. Huset ligger på en dyrelivsti, så der er hyppige observationer af lodne venner!

The house was perfect for our larger family, it was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The Redwoods staff was friendly and welcoming.

We stayed at We-Dunn-It for a four night visit to Yosemite. The cabin was very clean upon our arrival. The cabin is very well maintained both outside and inside. The kitchen was well stocked with all necessary utensils, plates, mugs, et, The bedrooms were comfortable for all. The cabin has a vey nice what looks to be a Trex deck where we ate dinner one evening. No complaints, only compliments. Just an FYI - it takes about an hour to get to the Valley which is what we anticipated. 45 minutes to the Sentinel Dome parking lot.

We had a wonderful stay. We appreciated all of the space and amenities. The AC was perfect after a day exploring Yosemite in July! Would love to co.e back in. The colder months to enjoy the beautiful fireplace. The location worked out perfect...inside the park and close to everything, yet away from the crowds. There's even a market nearby with everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Nice place. We had a great stay; however, perhaps adding some solar lights on the outdoor steps would help. Those stairs are somewhat hard to negotiate after dark.

Fantastic cabin in the woods

Great Stay in Wawona

We enjoyed our stay at the We-Dunn-It house at The Redwoods in Wawona. It was nice to get away from the valley's crowds. The house was located in a nice, quiet neighborhood and was perfectly sized for our family. The only downside (if there was one) is that there are limited food options, so you have to plan ahead.

Family Reunion

My family of 5 and my brother and sister in law started here for 4 days and it was wonderful! We met up with more family staying in another cabin in the Redwoods. It was the best experience being able to walk to visit our family. It was an awesome base camp for visiting Yosemite! 10/10!

Thanksgiving Cabin

Thanksgiving in Yosemite!!!! The cabin was awesome!! Our family has been coming to Wawona almost yearly for 50+ years. This is the first stay in this cabin and we were VERY happy! The furnishings are very nice and high quality! The fireplace is spectacular as well - which was put to good use during our visit and kept us warm during a beautiful snow storm. There were 6 of us and we were very comfortable! We will most definitely stay here again!!

Great Property!

I shared this cabin with my parents over the weekend and it was perfect. Had no trouble finding it or with check-in. Internet was a little flakey, but you shouldn't be on your computer anyway! Having two bathrooms was great as well. Would recommend this to anyone visiting Yosemite!

Family Cabin!

We loved this cabin for our large family! The kitchen was very well equipped for all our cooking needs and the cabin was super cozy! Lots of sitting spaces and wood fireplace was amazing! We love that all bedrooms had a bathroom to accommodate a large party! The check in staff was very friendnly and they have a charging station (level 2) by the the check-in area. It came in handy as one of our vehicles was an electric truck. It was drive to get the Yosemite Valley but the drive was scenic and beautiful! Highly recommend!

Lots of paneling even on ceiling making the house seem dark all the time. Nice deck and happy to have 3 bathrooms

Fun cabin stay with friends!

We showed up later in the evening and lost service to our map so we were a little confused finding the place at first but thankfully there was a paper map received from check in that was super helpful! The place was clean and spacious. What was supposed to be a group or 6 turned into a group of 7 one night and 8 the next and everyone felt accommodated with their sleeping arrangements as each couple got a room and the single people slept on the pull out couch upstairs. My favorite addition was they had fans! I’m someone who needs a fan to sleep comfortably so this was great. We were able to fit all 3 vehicles in the designated parking as well. Overall a great place to stay with a big family or with friends. The only thing I would like to note is there was no mention of where to dispose of our trash so we wandered until we found a dumpster nearby. However I’m sure had we just asked the host, they would have told us. Also, there was only half a roll of paper towels left for us for the entire weekend. Next time we will just be more prepared and pack extra. I would definitely stay here again!

Great home base for Yosemite hiking adventures

We really enjoyed our stay. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes for our party of 9. Beds for 8 (and a pull out couch if you have more than 8 in your party). Quiet location. Nice, efficient washer and dryer in the cabin which we really appreciated having once we learned the limited hours for the laundry room at the main lodge. Limited parking at the cabin - they said there would be room for 3 vehicles. We couldn’t fit all three of our vehicles in the spot but we did have 2 big SUVs in the mix. Short walk to Chilnualna Falls from the cabin. Tiny grocery mart less than a mile away, but we were glad we bought most of our groceries in Oakhurst on our way to the cabin. The marts inside the park have limited options. Approximately 60min drive to Yosemite Valley. Be sure to visit Mariposa Grove. We loved the Guardian Loop trail inside the Mariposa Grove - worth the extra hiking miles to get to that loop. We also hiked to Half Dome via the John Muir Trail, Mist Trail, Yosemite Upper Falls, Wawona point, Taft Point, Sentinel Dome, Tuolumne Grove, Yosemite Lower Falls, Mirror Lake, and many of the little trails in the valley. Group Favorite = Half Dome and upper falls trail. Least fav = Tuolumne Grove (long drive from the cabin and Mariposa Grove has many more sequoias).

A fabulous lodge to stay at. Everything was of a good standard, and Loveland clean. Initially we had been concerned about the distance from the entrance, but it was only about 45 minutes, and not a problem.

The office closes at 4.30 pm and check in is from 4pm. Not much time if you need to speak to someone at check in. Our property was very rustic, the upstairs is dark wood panelling and the lighting minimal. Makes the are very dark. Downstairs was better. Internet speed was very slow, of you need to wotirk while staying here, you may need to make alternative arrangements for internet speed. The previous occupant must have used the open fireplace, as every time we entered we could smell smoke. Not ideal if you have asthma etc. No shower gel or shampoo supplied, make sure you have your own. The tv did not work, I reported it, but nothing was done about it by maintenance.

The cabin was dark due to poor lighting. The ice maker did not work nor did the TV’s. I was unable to find any information on the cabin with instructions on the TV’s or ice maker. The location was great. The beds were hard and the quilts and comforters smelled of smoke and dust. If not for the beautiful location we would have left.

Great place

Nice place. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with anything needed. Had problem with gas hot water but maintenance was quick to respond and fix the issue. Nice area within walking distance to creek , falls and camp store. Folks at redwoods in Yosemite do a great job.

Would stay here again

It was everything we needed for 4 nights in Yosemite. Wasn’t especially clean when we checked in but was good enough. Does not point out that it doesn’t have air conditioning although I learned that is pretty common so not a huge deal. Overall I would stay here again.

Nice Cabin in Yosemite

The cabin we stayed in was very nice while we stayed in Yosemite NP for 3 days. It was great to be located inside the park and not wait in long lines to get into the park everyday. The bedrooms were a little small, but overall the cabin was very clean and comfortable. We did have a problem with the dryer not drying after washing a bunch of clothes, but it seemed that everything was new so just not hooked up properly. We reported it so hopefully it gets fixed before the next guests stay there. We highly recommend this property.

In the fall, the colors are spectacular as you enjoy the walking path around the golf course of the nearby historic Big Trees Lodge. See the nearby famous Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias.

In the winter, the family-friendly Yosemite Ski and Snowboard Area (formerly Badger Pass Ski Area) offers snowshoeing, snowboarding, skiing, cross-country ski tours, and in Yosemite Valley enjoy the outdoor ice skating rink.

In any season our Wedding and Event Center is open for all occasions! Whether it's for a group ski vacation, business training, a family Christmas or Thanksgiving get together, or a reunion of any kind this is the perfect spot for all to gather. Our Wedding and Event Center comfortably seats 100 for group meetings, and 80 for formal dining. There is a large open deck with a fireplace, and inside there is a second fireplace along with a separate Board Room and Catering Kitchen.
