I loved that I could bring my dogs, it had a nice yard around the pool, so they could be with us outside. The house is also so on a quite street, where I could walk them, it is try’s 2 minute walk to the beach.

Check in was very quick and easy, house was clean on arrival, and there was plenty of space for a larger group of people. Extremely quick walk to the beach with beach access directly across the street was very ideal. The pool was the perfect temperature and the hot tub was fantastic. Definitely recommend staying here!

So the check in was easy and description accurate. First impression was pretty rough due to the doormat being really worn and front and back doors being really dirty and grimy. Bucket of dirty mop water and mop on back deck. Cleanliness of pool and hot tub were disappointing, obvious dirt and debris, and never addressed even after being told it would be. Clogged sink and door knob were fixed thankfully. Overall it is a nice place, it's just beat up from a lot of use, which doesn't show in the pictures. We shared our concerns with the rental agency and were told because it's toward the end of the season that most of that would be taken care of when there was more time. Understandable, however, my expectation would be that it looked cared for and the cleanliness be top notch, regardless of what time of season we stayed. Disappointing for the amount of money paid, the place really needs a lot of touch ups and basic maintenance repairs, loose toilet, pile of old and dirty pool toys thrown away, etc. Walk to the beach was great, very close, nice to listen to the waves on the shore. Enjoyable enough stay but could have been so much better.

Overall, the place was fine, but the floors were filthy on the day of arrival and the refrigerator's ice and water dispenser only worked intermittently. Tech was called and couldn't find anything wrong but it continued all week. The realtors office was extremely helpful in trying to solve problems for these things, and when the pool water turned green she sent someone over right away. Our grandchildren did have an amazing time and except for the few minor things we enjoyed our vacation.

The location, yard, hot tub and pool were perfect for our April vacation group that included 11 people and three dogs. We enjoyed eating meals at the picnic tables and grilling in the back yard. While the common indoor area is small, it worked for us -- the table in the living room that seated 6 was a great spot for games. It was nice that every bedroom had a functioning TV given the living room furniture other that the table only seated a max of 5. A good enhancement would be to have a mirror in every bedroom - this would help free up the three bathrooms for a big group. Some challenges this time if year were that the large maple trees shedded lots of debris into the pool. We spent a lot of time cleaning it to be able to use it -- but it was worth it. We swam every day. The place was clean except that there were dirty plates mixed in with clean ones, and a towel rack in a bathroom was pulled off the wall and on the floor with plaster and paint chips when we arrived. Other than these items, the beds, floors, yard we clean and comfortable.

The house provided everything we needed. Short walk to the beach. Small view of ocean from front decks. Quiet neighborhood. The fenced in yard was a hit with our dogs! Ample room for us to spread out. I ended up working remotely a few days and the upper floor provided good separation from family to allow privacy. The rental company was accommodating when I needed to extend our stay due to weather. They also communicated well letting us know some maintenance would be coming to the house to “winter proof” the exterior water so we wouldn’t be surprised. Overall great trip and would certainly stay again. Home had great access to shopping and dining.

Fall Break Getaway

Great location for the beach and activities. The yard was perfect for our dogs. The house had ample room for us and we enjoyed the hot tub. The only thing that would have made it better (other than warmer weather) would be a less challenging indoor staircase and a heated pool.
