The property was wonderful! We were 3 couples visiting the area for the first time and the home was perfectly located and equipped to accommodate all of our needs. Great views as advertised and 10 minute walk to beach, shops and restaurants. Espe kept us well informed and was available for any additional help needed. We would definitely return.

The place is spacious and very comfortably fit our family of 6. The balcony is a huge and provides many a beautiful view of the ocean, hills, and lovely grounds/flowers. We thought Luz was a great town - everything you needed but also safe, cute, and of manageable size for comfortably walking. Communication from the host from booking through to check-out was timely, thorough, and everything you could hope for. The area recommendations from the host were all very useful and simplified trip planning and execution. We loved our family time in this location, and everyone in the family wanted days more to further explore after our 3 night stay was completed.Note - if travelling during high season, meal reservations are advisable in advance (potentially week in advance) for the recommended restaurants, even for lunch and at odd times. We were here last week of July.Love this place, this area, and this experience!

This place is quiet, beautiful and well equipped. If we ever return to Portugal we will definitely book this place again!

We all loved the location, close to the beach and grocery shopping. The view from the large balcony was wonderful.Our host was quick to respond to any of our questions about the area.

Relaxing stay in La Luz

The property was perfectly located with views of the sea. Easy to walk to the beach and the village. Lagos is also very close!!

Relaxing time in Algarve

We were lucky to stay at this spacious, tastefully decorated apartment with a pretty views from the each window/balcony (5 of them). We enjoyed walking down to the beach and town with many very good restaurants. Our only regret was that we booked our stay for 3 days only.

Our stay was just fabulous! We had such a great time in the Algarve & a big part of that was our home during our stay! This is such a fabulous place to stay in. Very modern,comfortable,clean & quiet! So quiet you can hear the surf at night even tho it's a few blocks away! Walking to the beach was easy from here,getting around town on foot is very doable! The owners also let us know what grocery store delivered so we didn't have to lug heavy bags back w/us. There's plenty to do in this beach town,but it's also so peaceful & quiet!! Sitting on the balcony at night w/a glass of wine was the perfect way to end every day! The later it gets the more stars you see too! The views from every room are stunning! I miss them now!The kitchen had everything we needed,both showers had great water pressure & always lots of hot water! The dishwasher & washing machine were easy to operate & very much appreciated! AC worked great as well. The place was large enough for 4 adults & we all enjoyed it immensely. The hosts are superb! Jim & Espe are great communicators & they do everything to make sure you have a fabulous stay. They gave us lots of great tips for the town of Luz & the Algarve in general. They checked in w/us almost every day through the App & made sure there wasn't anything else we needed. Don't miss out on this amazing place to stay!! Make your reservation now!!

Paradise in Portugal

Wanted to find a unique and great place to spend some quality time with our family and we couldn’t have picked a better place incredible views incredible apartment equipped with everything so close to the beach you walk down 10 minute community walk the beach and the neighborhood had everything would highly highly recommend

Excellent Luz rental!

We were very pleased with our stay at Espe and Jim's condo! Communication prior to and during our stay was quick and seamless, the home was clean and more than we expected, and the location was superb! We highly recommend booking your stay here!

Great apartment & location

Only 10 mins to beach, shops, bars & restaurant so basically everything! Very clean with all mod cons, fantastic views & layout. Would highly recommend

Wonderful stay, beautiful view, loved the balconies and the awning made it possible to sit outside comfortably all day in August. The kitchen had all the necessities and the market is a 4 min drive. Overall great stay, only reason for a 4 is the community pool was closed. The beach was lovely!

Great and spacious !

We loved Praia da Luz , and the apartment was a great place to stay. Spacious , very functional and impeachable. Espe was a great host and took care of any little question that we had. It’s a great location for families with kids.

Espe and James’ are wonderful hosts! Their home is even more spectacular than the pictures. Honestly one of the best places I've ever stayed. Highly recommend! I’ll be back for sure.

Beautiful and spacious apartment with a view

We where pleasantly surprised with the place, the cleanness, size, comfort, and stunning views from every room definitely made the stay! Just minutes walk to the beach, shops and local restaurants. Espe and James made us feel welcomed from day one and made check in/out a breeze. We definitely recommend this rental when visiting Lagos!

Luz

Beautiful area. We really enjoyed the town, driving around. The apartment is exactly the way it looks in the VRBO site. Espe always answered all my questions in a timely manner, very helpful.

Great spot in Luz!

We just stayed for a couple days this spring. The location is easy to get to, and the view of the town and ocean from the porches is a great way to wake up and enjoy your breakfast. It’s a little walk to beach but very easy drive if you can find parking (we had no issues but in peak beach season could be a challenge). The place itself is very spacious with nice living rooms and porches. We had a great trip, loved the day, and would go back next time we are in Luz!

Amazing stay

Jim and Espe’s place is even better in person than in pictures. The ocean views from every room were truly beautiful. The deck was large and very comfortable. There was plenty of space in the unit to for our family to spread out, and town and the beach were a short, easy walk. The area is quiet, and the apartment was exceptionally clean. The kitchen was well equipped, and check-in procedures were smooth and easy. I highly recommend renting this place!

Sea Breeze Perfect

Great accommodations that are only a stones throw away from the beaches. It is a short walk down to the coastline to view breathtaking emerald seas. There is a great lineup of restaurants that came recommended by the hosts. The condo was spacious with great views. The owners reached out and assisted us every step of the way answering any questions we had.

Clean, equipped, secure, great deck

Within 1/2 mile walk of a couple great restaurants and the beach (highly recommend the Latitude). Plenty of living space between living room and back deck. The twin beds were definitely very hard beds; ought to be updated. All in all, we had a fabulously great stay.

We couldn’t ask for a better experience. The host Esp was such a sweetheart, she would reach out to make sure we were enjoying our stay and if we needed anything. Also, Esp would give us suggestions on where to go to eat and visit, her apartment is exactly how you see them on VRBO, it was very cozy and beautiful, the view from the balcony was to die for. Loved that the beach was only 10 minutes away on foot. The beach was amazing as well, very clean and had everything you needed, bar, restaurant, ice cream parlor and shops. I highly recommend spending a vacation in Lagos- Praia da Luz and renting this beautiful apartment. Trust me you will love it as much as we did.

Best ever condo with view snd lots space

The host was top notch with quick and professional responses. The unit was very clean and meet all our needs for two couples. The A/c was excellent in each room. The views were amazing and we loved the short but hilly walks to and from beach . We appreciated the extras like soap and shower gel. Our only suggestion would be to have slightly bigger beds and mattresses could be refreshed/new ones for optimal comfort. Otherwise we would recommend this property and would defintely go back there!

perfect stay

It could not have been better. The three bedroom was roomy, airy, bright, well supplied, beautifully furnished and best of all was the convenient location that included beautiful views. We spent our first full day exploring the little town and enjoying the beach and all the surroundings, restaurants and bars included! Day two we went to Lagos, really only 10 minutes away, and explored the cliffs and caves from above in the morning and took a two hour boat tour through the caves and grottos in the afternoon. What an adventure! We were sorry to leave but are looking forward to Monsanto and the Duro Valley. Thank you James and Esme.
