Beautiful home in a nice quiet neighborhood. The host is very responsive and attentive. There were plenty of clean linens and towels. Great location near attractions.

The host was the best I have ever dealt with! The house was exactly as described in the photos and description, the house was clean and inviting, pet friendly, and the pool was an absolute “hit” for my kids! The area was quiet and we felt totally safe and everything we needed was just a few minutes away. EXCELLENT STAY!

Our stay here was such a great time . The house was very cute many things to do . Great location, we were close to the freeway. That made it easy for us to go to The L.A Fair , Santa Monica beach and many more places. My daughter loved the decore for her photo's . We hope to return soon .

Lovely Stay for a Work Trip

My family and I would like to thank Julia and her team for this listing for accommodating us at the last minute due to complications at another VRBO house in the area. She allowed us to check in early to the property, which was very appreciated. We do wish that a cleaner had gone through to sweep, dust, and wipe down surfaces and floors inside the property before we checked in. However, after making the team aware of the cleanliness, Julia and her team quickly delivered additional cleaning supplies that were not in the house. While the house does have enough beds to sleep 10 people, I'd recommend 7-8 people max, as the bunkbed room was very tight. Similar to the inside, the outdoor furniture would have benefited from a dusting, a wipe-down, or a shake before the guest's arrival. Overall, my family and I enjoyed our stay at this location, and we highly recommend it for small groups of 5-8!

Hi Eden . Yes . I am happy you liked the house and you were kind guest . You did ck with a super short notice . We clean after evert stay . You came in super windy week and we would have send someone to dust for you before arriving if we had more time . The house is ready more for 8 adults and 2 kids .

Home away from home

This was the perfect place for our LA vacation with friends and family. Perfect slept the four adults and four kids. Close to lots of local shops and restaurants. Easy access to highways for nearby amenities. Small pool was a nice way to cool off at the end of the day.

Generally OK property

Layout was quite strange and pool was dirty. The property manager had the pool cleaned when the kids refused to get in it. Otherwise it was a nice stay.

Upon arrival we found the pool had not been cleaned. There was no cover on the gazebo to provide shade. The small patio area outside the living room front window had not been cleaned. The property did not appear guest ready. Only 2 wine glasses were initially provided and 6 were eventually delivered once reported. The BBQ was unclean and no tools, ( tools were provided once reported). The property is better suited for 6 not 10. The bunk room is deceptively smaller than photo and the bed frames squeaked with every move. All provided pillows had plastic protectors and most needed replacing. No code was provided to the small games room until near the end of stay. The interior and exterior is very dated. The fan to the main bathroom blew out hot air and the shower tray caulking had black mould. No night stands or bedside lamps to the 2nd bedroom and the main light switch was outside the room. The end of the bed in the 2nd bedroom is too close to the wall mounted tv and both myself and wife hit our heads on the corner of the tv. The 2nd bedroom closet was mainly filled with extra bed linen and pillows leaving limited hanging space. The desk in the 2nd bedroom is accessed via a step which is a trip hazard. Initially there was no carbon monoxide detector; this was later provided by the host which we had to set up. The house is in a nice area and in a convenient location. Sadly the property itself and the standard of accommodation were a big disappointment for the price paid.

We had a great stay

Our girls trip was a blast and staying in this house worked out great. It was in a great quiet neighborhood that made us feel safe. It fit all of us pretty comfortably. We were a little sad that we weren’t able to use the pool. It was unclear in the listing that the pool heater wasn’t able to be turned on in the winter months. But all in all it was a sweet cozy place that we enjoyed.

3 generations under 1 roof

The location is great, very close to many amenities, and attractions. LA can feel small, or very large, depending on traffic, but we were only a 15 minute drive to Universal Studios. Julia was great to deal with, the kids loved the pool (so glad we paid for the pool to be heated). Be aware that the photos make the place appear larger than it is. Having said that, we fit 4 grandparents in their 60's, my wife and I jn our 30's, and our 8 and 9 year old boys, as well as parked 3 vehicles inside the fence with plenty of room to spare.

Location Location Location

This California quirky home was exactly what we needed. 7 adults (two families) fit perfectly. It was walking distance to everything we couldn't need and a short drive to all attractions, studios. Owner was very responsive. The pool was a great break in the day activity. Loved our visit!

You get what you pay for

If you want a place with lots of beds and a pool right in LA, this works. Its old. Bathrooms really need updating and there is no central air. But it’s a lot less expensive than other places, and the gated house helps you feel secure.

I wish I could've stayed here longer.

This reservation came at a time when I needed it the most. My group of 5+ and I extended our trip to LA last minute, and finding a new place was no easy task. However, I got lucky with finding Julia's listing and inquired about reserving it on the same day I needed to check in, and I got it! The host was very responsive and considerate of my group, and I wish I could've extended my stay, but my group ended up leaving LA. I can't wait to come back.

Pictures can be deceiving

This house is very old and in poor repair. The furniture is likewise. We had to go buy air mattresses because the sofa bad was completely un-usable. That being said, the owner was nice and tried to help by sending extra cleaning personnel, but there isn't much they can do when everything is just so run down. The location was great.

I am sorry to hear this . We got more than 10 5 stars In a role from other sites ... I will the guest will say something- we have extra mattresses in the storage room. The house is older it’s not for people who likes modern . But it’s always clean and organized . I wish the guest was more honest when we asked if everything is good ? Because we are there to make sure guests are enjoying the house ...

Jason complained about one light out of 40 that didn’t work , didn’t want to change a lightbulb that was sent to him , filed a dispute and lost . We are looking for peaceful people . Jason had his family issues he is not our cup of tea and not welcome on our property no more ! Looking for Pura Vida guests only !
