Great Condo

Very short walk to gondola, even closer to free bus stop that takes you everywhere. Clean condo as advertised.

Key fobs

The property has some age on it but a lot of character. The whole check in thing is a huge pain in the butt. The parking garage is a short walk from the condos but you need a key fob to enter the building or the parking garage. Upon following the checkout instructions I left the garage pass and the key fobs in the room when I left. Could not not get Into the parking garage. A very nice gentlemen came by and let me into the garage. You need to be more specific on the checkout instructions for us slow people. Keep one of your key fobs! Very nice condo. I would use it again.

mountain condo

We enjoyed the location at the ski mountain, view and space. Just enough room for the two of us to relax and unwind. My only hesitation on recommending this property would be to anyone with mobility issues. It has a lot of stairs from the garage to the yard, then a short walk uphill with another set of stairs before an elevator tot he fourth floor. Anyone with issues would be unable to access this property. For us it was just fine!

Screen door

The screen on the sliding glass door leading to the balcony is missing. We were not able to enjoy the cool evening air due to the fact that there are mosquitoes in the area so the sliding door must remain closed.

Steamboat Base Camp

This condo is a perfect location for adventure sports in the region. I visited for the SBT GRVL bike race and this location was close to downtown so i could access the great food and drink, but was in the ski village and close to the mountains. I went up the gondola, which was great for seeing views of the whole valley. The condo itself had a full kitchen to prepare food as needed and large living area for relaxing. The views from the balcony were also great for overlooking the Ski Village. I could see this condo as a perfect spot for travelers coming to ski, mountain/gravel bike, hike, and explore Steamboat.

The property was not easily accessible to the elderly.

As Senior Citizens with health and mobility issues this property is not for for you. Avoid this location. Vrbo did not provide sufficient information regarding parking (dark, hard to find, poorly lined, no elevators, narrow and dimly lit stairways. Long walk from parking to lobby. Lobby has multiple levels of stairs (3 to 7) and small elevator. Unit was built in 1973, and has not been updated since. Will not stay here again.

Great Stay

The view was spectacular! The building is older and could use a face lift, and our bathroom was straight out of the 70's but none of that mattered. We enjoyed our stay, it was comfortable and the communication with our host was wonderful. We will stay with them again!

Great location but standard 'used' rental unit

The property's location was exactly what we were looking for - easy walking distance to ski and to get to the free bus system. Unfortunately, the unit is a lot more 'worn' than was expected. Many of the drawers in the kitchen are about to fall out/apart, one of the couches has been over-used (leather is torn/ripping), minimal closet space as the owner is using it for their own storage, etc. The building itself also needed some help during our stay - the elevator was broken on our side of the building which meant a LOT of stairs or walking way out of the way to get to an elevator (not fun after skiing all day) and the sauna was also broken. Check-in was a nightmare but was finally rectified by management after 1.5 hours. We did not use the parking garage so I cannot speak to that. Overall, the location was the perk of this unit. If you are looking for a convenient location, this unit is for you, just realize you are getting a 'used' rental unit.

SKI SQUARE INN

This cozy unit with all the kitchen items there is located on the 4th floor of the Inn. We loved the condo inside. Loveseat is very beat up, but still comfy. The unfortunate news is after driving to get there we find that we did not have a location to unload our luggage, except in the covered garage. There is a spot to unload on the opposite end of this Inn, but not any closer to the elevator and not convenient. The garage is great, but there is a flight of stairs to get out of the garage, no elevator plus major ice hazard at threshold leaving the garage entrance. Next the bags, groceries, skis, etc have to be carried 75-100 yards to the front door of the Inn. Next there's a lobby to a more narrow set of stairs to the elevator. The ski lockers are in this lobby, but one does have to walk back towards the garage to get to the ski slope, so easier to leave our equipment in the truck. Unfortunately the elevator was having major work done on it the last two days we were there. Up 4 flights stairs to get to unit. Hot tubs were very foamy, sauna out of order since the end of the year, elliptical did not work. Won't stay in Steamboat at this unit again due to these extrinsic factors. This location is not for the weak, faint of heart or disabled. When mentioned to My iTrip as the emails suggest, they said they didn't know any of this and would contact HOA.

Great Location

The location of this property was great. Just a short walk to skiing. The property was clean, well equipped, and had a comfortable bed. I would suggest getting a new love seat couch. The one there is pretty worn and not attractive.

Cozy Condo

We arrived to town on Saturday and easily picked up our keys for the condo and made our way to Ski Time Square. The underground parking was easily found and a great perk for not having to worry about what you may have left in the car and bears. As with any condo it was a short walk from parking to the front of the building. The condo itself was clean and well equipped for guests. The furniture was extremely comfortable although one couch is very worn. We loved the ease with getting to and from the condo and the comfortable secure feeling once we were inside. Staff were great with contacting us via text and email after arrival to make sure we had what we need. Another great stay in Steamboat!

Ski Time Condo

Location was good. Very confusing directions to get garage pass and fob. One of the residents had to help us as there wasn't a fob in the lock box. Meanwhile we had parked our car in the garage and couldn't get into it or into the condo. Tried 2 times to reach management service. Did have a quick response on 3rd try and they brought by a bottle of wine for our trouble.

Ski Time Square

A great place to stay. Very convenient location on the mountain wit views of lower mountain. Our place was clean and had everything we needed. iTrip staff were extremely helpful and would recommend and be staying again ourselves

Summer Roadtrip

We enjoyed our VRBO stay. Upon initial arrival, our keys were not available at the pick up location down the road from the property. They did not give us the parking pass as expected but quickly responded to my text stating such and brought up key promptly. The unit is a walk from the parking garage or other parking nearby. The unit was very clean, well equipped for us (though we did minimal cooking), and had plenty of supplies. Check out was very easy. We probably wouldn't stay here again if we found ourselves in Steamboat Springs. Highlights: spacious, clean, quiet (though I don't think there were a lot of people around), well stocked with supplies and kitchen items for us, comfortable bed, good value (for us at the time) Cons: check in process, accessing unit (long walk), getting in/out of parking garage (hard angles to navigate) Food Recommendations for Steamboat Springs: Cruisers Sub Shop, Lime + Salt

Space with a View

I like to break these reviews into pros and cons from my perspective. I would rent this unit again. The location was convenient with easy access to town. Pros: -Comfortable Bed (If I see complaints in the reviews about the mattress I automatically rule out the property) -Spacious Common Area -Convenient Ski Lockers -Covered Parking -Nice View -5-minute walk to skiing -Outdoor Hot Tub 15 steps from unit Cons: -Thin walls (music and bathroom noise for adjacent units) -Parking Fob used to gain car access to the garage stopped working on 2nd day of stay -I cut myself on a broken casserole dish that was placed back in the cabinet.

Great Condo

Would totally rent this unit again. Pros: Super comfy condo and great location. Parking was easy and close. Can't go wrong with Steamboat. Nice gas fireplace that turns on instantly. Lots of plugs to charge phones, etc. Unloading was pretty easy. Park right by the main entrance with no hassle to unload, and short walk to elevator up to the condo unit. Morning walk to the slopes is easy, even with a 10 year old. I think I counted about 150 steps and then stopped counting in my head as we were nearly there. You cross a street and then you can ski down to the Christie lift or the Gondola. Our 10 year old said "I really love this condo" one night when getting tucked into bed. Cons: The key lockbox was a little tricky. The face folds forward instead of the curved ring of the lock unclipping like regular locks. There is no washer/dryer in the unit itself. It would be helpful if there were two keyfobs and two locker keys as there was only one. There are ski lockers right at the entrance that are super convenient. There is a spa but we didn't check it out due to covid concerns.

Probably better during Ski season

Pros: Location is great to ski lift, trails and hiking Secure parking Walk to shops and restaurants with easy bus access Dog & Kid friendly (although did not have either) Very very clean Beautiful/Great views from patio and living room Living room comfortable and inviting Wifi and cable included Summer price was reasonable Bed was comfortable(no pressure points bothered) Front grounds are well kept and people gather there to play games or eat Cons: -Stairs-many stairs to maneuver with bags just to get to elevator -Unit needs updating with avocado shower and sink and Dated Original kitchen -Complex is poorly kept (needs painting, parking lot repair and more) -Low shower head (5’8” and had to stoop a bit to rinse my hair) -Very poor lighting in bedroom -For a summer visit the place gets pretty warm in the afternoon with high temps outside ranging 86-89 and will finally cool down around 2-3 am. 2 Portable fans available but ceiling fans would be better summary: Overall all a decent place that is clean(important) and wonderfully nestled in the mountains, but property/complex need work.

Great Place to Stay

Older but very well maintained condo. Very clean. Well equipped kitchen. Great location near the slopes. Steamboat is a great place to visit! Don't miss hiking up Rabbit Ears Peak.
