Perfect family vaca

Loved staying here. It had everything our family needed. The kids enjoyed the games in the home, swimming off the pier, and the very friendly neighbors. We docked our speed boat at the pier and loved how quiet Diamond Lake is. We loved every minute and hope to return.

Diamond Lake vacation home

This is a spacious and excellent location for our family. The amenities were wonderful especially for our 10 month old grandbaby. Thank you for sharing your lake home with us!

Weekend getaway

Our stay was perfect! The Home is amazing and Vicki is really easy to work with and made sure everything went smoothly. We had a fantastic stay. We enjoyed the lake during the day and patio area with a bonfire at night time to roast some marshmallows! Overall the home has everything you could need, I would highly recommend to anyone! Thanks for a great stay!

The highlight of the summer is always the yearly vacation with family. Of course, it is never long enough and there are never enough pictures. Memories include peaceful mornings on the pier , beautiful sunsets, designer donuts, the cute farm store, a 9 hole golf course, nightly walks for ice cream, and the warm clear water great for floating and boating.

Lakeside beauty. Plenty of space. Depth of lake in front of dock is 6-7 feet. Superb property. Would book it again in a minute.

Wonderful Holiday Weekend At Diamond Lake with Family

My family and I truly enjoyed our time at Diamond Lake. We were extremely happy with all the room we had to play games, talk, make family meals and sleeping accommodations. The place was very beautiful and the view from the windows were stunning. The house was very clean and had all the things we needed to enjoy our stay. Beautiful lake home, perfect for an Notre Dame weekend!

My family and I absolutely LOVED our stay at this house! The setting was incredible. Waking up to the sunrise over the lake was breathtaking. There was plenty of space for everyone (adults and children) and it was very very clean. We rented the house for a Notre Dame football game. It was about 30-35 minutes from campus and an easy drive. We are all still raving about this property and can’t wait to return next year! The owner Vicki was so nice and communicative. Highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful

Upon entering Vicki's lake house, you're not only surrounded by the warmth and magic of the lake but by the warmth and magic of the house itself! It truly is a place where memories are built. My family and I (6 of us) went see a Notre Dame game and stayed for 4 days and the house was a great retreat from a busy football weekend (82,000 in attendance ). Vicki is a wonderful host and very approachable. You want for nothing, from the WiFi to info on the lake and all the other comforts of home, it's all there. We just wished we could stay longer! If you're in the area of Diamond Lake and need a little paradise for a few days, look no further than here. Thx Again Vicki and hopefully we'll be in touch next spring Dan Cook Grimsby Ont Canada

Comfortable cottage in the cove

Nice property and great location for our needs. We were in town for a family member’s wedding and this location was within walking distance of their home, as well as the wedding venue (Diamond Lake Yacht Club). We enjoyed the protective cove on the main part of the lake that the home and dock sits in, as we were well sheltered from the winds that were coming out of the north, giving us calm waters to swim in with the little ones and warm days to lounge on the pier and patio. We appreciated all the different spaces the home offered on multiple levels, the baby gate at the top of the stairs (we had a 1 & 3 year old traveling with us), and the readily available pack & play crib, high chair, and other baby/toddler paraphernalia, especially since we traveled in by air. The outdoor spaces are amazing, especially on the lakeside. Due to favorable weather, we spent most of our awake hours outside on this magnificent patio. The home itself is comfortable and has everything you need to have a great vacation at the lake. We would definitely recommend this property & owner, and we would return again.

Diamond Lake is a Gem

We used Vicki’s place for a “late summer getaway” and was very impressed. Beautiful home and a wonderful outdoor setting. The house is huge (the 8 of us never even used one of the bedrooms). We spent very little time indoors, even though it rained for two of our 5 days because it was so nice to sit outside by the lake. It was fun watching the eagle dive for fish; watching the boats film commercials in the early morning; and watching the sunrise off the left side of the lake. Very relaxing. We also brought our own boat and anchored it about 20 feet off the dock. Tubing, wakeboarding, and wake surfing was the highlight for the kids. The water temp was 71 in mid-September, which felt pretty refreshing in 68 degree air temps! And as the start of college football rolled in this weekend, there is no better place to watch the game and take in the lake at the same time then in that family room. We had a great vacation and enjoyed our stay. We really appreciated the communication from day one to check out. Great experience and will consider it again next year.

Wonderful Labor Day Weekend!

We enjoyed every moment of our stay! Vicki's lake house was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 5 children. The kids had a great time playing in the water, large living area and basement. We had fires each night and truly enjoyed every moment! We hope to return next summer!

Perfect Home for Couples Weekend.

A beautiful home with an amazing view on a crystal clear lake. What a perfect place to share the company of lifelong friends. Everything we needed was provided. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, spices, etc. There was plenty of outdoor seating. And, a fire pit! Plenty of room for parking. And, a pier for the boat. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and hope to return.

Enjoyable Stay

My family meet at this fantastic home to celebrate a few birthdays. We had a fantastic time, enjoyed the amenities. Beds were comfortable. Outside patio area was great for a family. One suggestion: The thermostat was wifi. Maybe someone should turn it on before guest arrive and cool it down on hot days. Really hot inside , especially with moving everything in.

This place is perfect inside and out

I liked everything about this home. Lets start with the drive, it took me 2.5 hours from South Chicago at 3:30PM on the Friday of Memorial weekend, it was a quick trip. I suggest taking 80 all the way to South Bend. We had family with us ranging from 74 - 8 and this house provided a lot of space for all of our varying interests. The interior is very big and comfortable with a lot of area in the basement for our children to relax and watch movies or play ping pong on the table provided. The patio area overlooks the lake and provides plenty of room to spread out and relax under the umbrella, sit by a fire pit, or grill. The dock is again very big and the depth ranges from 2' - 5' providing a chance for young and old to swim or just sit and watch the boats go by. The position of the home on Diamond Lake was perfect and this lake is excellent for boating, fishing, swimming, and tubing. My 21' boat had plenty of depth and clearance for easy docking and push off. We hit the popular sunken island and tied up with other families to enjoy family time together. Fishing the Southern and Eastern portion of the lake produced Pike and Bass. The dock provided catfish fishing for the kids and they caught several with hot dogs and WD40. The lake doesn't have gas but the garage has a large funnel that was perfect for fueling at the homes dock with a gas can, and if you need a gas can they have a 6 Gal. one in the garage as well. As a renter I don't expect the neighbors to pay me much attention but the neighbors here were beyond nice and treated us as if we had lived their for years. This house lacks nothing and I would love to rent here again.

Making Fun memories on the lake

First off, Vicky, was wonderful and very responsive in answering all the questions. She was a delight to work with. The house is extremely well staged. The kitchen has every pot and pan you could want. The towels were thick and plentiful. The house is on a very nice section of the lake. You can swim off the end of the pier. There is a protected area that you can swim in also. Neighbors were very nice and pleasant. I loved that Diamond Lake has a sand bar to anchor and play in the water. We rented a boat and the folks at the marina couldn't have been nicer. It was a wonderful week full of memories.

Great house, great location. Excellent for grandchildren. Only downfall was a small yard.

We loved our week in Cassopolis. The house was located in a quiet neighborhood and was excellent for our family which included 5 grandchildren under the age of 5. The lake was beautiful and the sandy bottom and shallow waters were ideal for the little ones. An additional surprise was a small park with a sandy beach just a few houses down the road. Lots of room inside enabled our three families to have some privacy when needed for nap time. Vicki, was easy to communicate with and graciously answered all our questions quickly. Thanks for a great vacation!

Amazing!!

We have rented many homes for our large family vacation throughout the years, but never have we found one as well equipped as this home. The home owners have thought of everything and provided so many of the small things that you don't expect to find in a vacation rental. The kitchen was very well equipped, right down to the sharp knives and dish soap. There were enough chairs for our family of 15 to have seating together for meals, plenty of silverware and two refrigerators. The view of the lake is magnificent from several windows in the house, even from the kitchen when cooking and washing dishes. Everything was in good working condition and the caretaker stopped in to make sure we had everything we needed. The lake was amazing and even though we didn't have the warmest weather the water was warm enough to swim. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with our family, we look forward to staying again. The Nelson Family

Great, relaxing vacation at the lake!

We had a great stay! We were here for about a week, and the house was perfect for us - plenty of room to spread out and relax (and for the kiddos to play). Everything was as described, clean and in good working order. Vicki was responsive and helpful, and the recommended dining options were great - we particularly liked dinner at Fat Cam's in the patio with live music.

A comfortable place to relax

Our family loved spending a week on Diamond Lake! The house was clean and easy to live in, and there was ample space outdoors to enjoy the view of the lake and play in the water. The home owners made everything easy for us to relax and enjoy and the weather all week was perfect! We rented a pontoon boat for the week at Diamond Lake Marina and the Marina owners, Steve and Kathy, were also very helpful. We hope to go back next year! G. Harvanek

A slice of heaven.

This place is a slice of heaven. The lake is a gorgeous teal blue. You have to see it to believe it. The house was great. Very clean with a ton of room. The views of the lake are magnificent. My granddaughters (5 & 3). Had a blast. The water is shallow in front of the house and they loved it. In fact it was hard to get them out of the water. We rented a boat and discovered the sand bar in the lake. A lot of boats anchor there and we met some wonderful people and again my granddaughters loved the shallow water as we did too. We obviously had a great time with some wonderful memories. I highly recommend this house and lake. I can tell you we will be back.
