The property was well laid out with plenty of space throughout the house. The location was excellent. The pool was a great addition and spacious. The porch allowed for a stunning view. The amenities were lacking. The hot tub was inoperable. There was no body soap or shampoo. Most vacation rentals have coffee for the guest for at least the first morning. For a beach rental not to have beach towels seemed a little odd. Overall, it was a decent house.

Thank you for the 4-star review for Under The Sea. I’m glad the layout, space, location, pool, and porch view worked well for your stay. I’m sorry the amenities fell short — especially the inoperable hot tub and lack of body soap, shampoo, coffee for the first morning, and beach towels. I’ve shared this with our maintenance and housekeeping teams so the hot tub will be assessed and starter toiletries, coffee. If you’d like to share any other specifics, please message us via Vrbo. We’d love to host you again.

Great location with awesome beach/ sea view. Pool in good shape, heated and clean. Only complaint is the downstairs bedroom areas, which was musty due to bad air A/C circulation. Giving you the feel of a legionnaires disease environment. Otherwise everything else was as advertised.

This house was great for our party of 18 that ranged from 18 months to 75. The layout was great and we appreciated the downstairs suites that allowed families to have a contained space to themselves. We did not have any issues with certain rooms only being accessible from outside. The house is fully stocked and has a garage full of beach chairs and an umbrella available. Access to beach was easy and the beach was not packed with people. We did pay to have hot tub heated and it heated quickly and definitely got hot. We did not pay to have pool heated and found the pool to be a perfect temp. House is well maintained and beautifully decorated. One call out is the bedroom space accessible through the garage was significantly hotter than the rest of the house. We worked with property manager and they installed a portable AC unit, but it took several days to resolve. Just making note of it if you are looking to use this space in the heat of the summer.

Thank you for the 5-star review of Under The Sea. I'm glad the layout, downstairs suites, stocked beach gear, and easy beach access worked well for your multigenerational group, and that the hot tub and pool temps were to your liking. I apologize for the heat in the garage-access bedroom and the delay getting a portable AC in place. We appreciate the detailed feedback and hope to welcome you back.

Large family vacation and celebration

A wonderful vacation stay for our large adult family of 21 ages 19 to 80. With no small children and all the grandchildren are not married, we made the sleeping arrangements work. Beautifully furnished and the covered back deck was the best feature for us. Only negative was the hot tub which was spa tub-did not heat >87(paid for it) but management reimbursed us. Great stay.

Under the Sea is Over the Top

We have stayed in four different beachfront houses and this was definitely the best. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have experienced. The house was clean and we loved how close we were to the beach. The pool is large and that was a great break from the ocean. Also, management was very responsive when we had a question or wanted to add something like turning on the heat to the hot tub. I would highly recommend Under The Sea to anyone who needs a house of this size.

Great Location

Wonderful location on the beach. The set-up of the house was perfect for our group of 16. Beds were comfortable. I had to text the property manager a couple of times, and she was always quick to respond. A few minor things that would make the property even better: 1) house could use a deep cleaning, 2) a few newer pots and pans are needed, 3) it would be nice if the hot tub was included in the price of the rental. Overall, we loved it and are considering renting it again in the future.

Group Trip to Myrtle Beach

The rental was very nice and clean. The location was perfect and the check in and check out process were very good. When we rented it we thought it had 8 bedrooms, but that wasn’t really true. It has 3 bedrooms up and 2 or 3 areas below with several beds so if you need you own space —your own four walls - as a room just be sure to ask for the details. Outside of that, all was great!

Family vacation

We were very pleased with this beach rental. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed as well as the chairs and toys for the beach. The Ice machine in the garage is a game changer and the pool held all of us with floats with no problem. Any issues were dealt with by the owner immediately. The only improvement we can say may be a window air conditioner for the bedroom near the garage that gets hot at night.

The best Myrtle Beach vacation ever!

We had 19 people in our party, and thoroughly enjoyed this house! It was beyond what is described in the pictures! And very spacious! Large kitchen, updated appliances, and well stocked kitchenware! Beds were comfortable, and plenty of them! Pool was fantastic, and plenty of seating! Loved the deck, with its carpeted floor for the little ones, lots of seating and great view! We sat out on the deck a lot, perfect for our large family! I can't say enough nice things about it! Plan to look into booking it again for next year!
