What a peaceful location for this terrific Lodge! 3 levels of living with everything you will ever need for your next vacation to include Central Air Conditioning, WiFi & SmarTV! In a very quiet Northwoods location. 250 feet of private frontage on Chain Lake. Plenty of privacy!

Outside on the walk out deck is a Gas BBQ Grill, 2 dining/patio tables & chairs PLUS a wonderful lake-view. The lower level sports a walk out to the lake; wood burner ring for outdoor nightly fires, charcoal grill & more seating. At the lake is a new pier that will handle all size boats to include pontoon. FREE boat launch nearby. Boat rental delivery available.

The Lodge is fully furnished on all 3 levels.

Main level is open living area space

Kitchen stocked for all your cooking needs plus dishwasher. All linens & inside towels provided. Starter supplies of paper products, personal hygiene items and cleaning supplies.

Dining table & breakfast bar with with walkout sliding patio door offering a great lakeview! Mini work space with desk, multi function printer, fax, copier.

Stone faced wood burning fireplace, SmarTV, plenty of seating living room. Wood fireplace provided along with a variety of board games!

Also on the Main Level there 2 Bedrooms & 1 full bathroom with tub & shower.

Lower level rec room with table tennis, mini bar, game table, seating, streaming TV & door to the outdoors. Along with 1 private bedroom, bathroom with standing shower & laundry room.

The upper loft area overlooks the main floor living room & has 5 twin beds, card table & dresser. Great view of Chain Lake!

Plenty of trail opportunities. Walking & Hiking. Snowmobiling in the winter. ATV routes.

We ask you to NOT move the furniture and when departing lodge should appear as it did when you checked. Bag garbage and put in cans by the garage.
On ck out day ALL wash dishes and put away where they were when you checked. Strip all dirt bedsheets, pillowcases and towels put in laundry bags.
No firearms, fireworks or paintball activity. WI law prohibits discharge of gun within 100 ft of dwelling. $100 penalty. Potential prosecution.

This property was perfect for our family of six and an infant for size. I would make a suggestion to have some bare essentials in the kitchen such as salt/pepper, some kind of oil, foil, Kleenex, rubber spatula.

Nice cabin with lake access, plenty of beds, and a great deck balcony. However host experience at check out is a little unreasonable. There are strict checkout expectations (especially with a 9:00am timeline). Highly unusual requests: dishes can not be left in the dishwasher and must be put away in arbitrary, yet specific locations. Along with dinning room chairs and furniture being returned to its exact location (with in inches).Specific demands beg a reasonable renter to ask: what is the cleaning fee for? Again beautiful space and location. Plenty of room to enjoy.

We had a lovely holiday weekend vacation. There was more than ample space for our family plus a well-equipped kitchen grill for making meals on property. The wrap-around porch with lake view was delightful. Check-in/access was smooth and the property manager was proactively communicative. The location between Rhinelander and Eagle River was perfect for our planned activities.

The house was great, nice and clean, had lots of space, and everything we needed for a weekend away. The host Holly was awesome, super responsive, helped us with where to find snowmobile trails by the house, and gave us ideas of other events to go to around the area!

True Northwoods Experience!! We have been coming to the Northwoods for years. We typically stay on the Three Lakes Chain, but after trying Chain Lake we are hooked! It is a smaller, quieter lake but you are able to get to 4 other lakes via easy navigatiable channels. We rented a fishing pontoon for 2 days and were able to explore all the area has to offer. Our boys, 14 and 11, enjoyed fishing and swimming off the dock. We enjoyed dinner & cocktails on the deck overlooking the lake, evening sunsets, and nightly fires. The host has everything you need for an enjoyable and relaxing vacation. We did have a slight hiccup, after heavy storms rolled in, we lost power for 12.5 hours. After texting the host she immediately contacted the power company to keep us updated on how long the outage may last. She and her husband stopped by with ice to keep our groceries from spoiling and assisted with how to flush the toilets without electricity. Even though it wasn't a great way to start our first day of vacation, we managed to make it enjoyable. The cabin stayed cool and we were able to find enough candles to help navigate the dark. Cabin was very clean and I am extremely picky. We will definitely stay again!!

An Ideal Getaway

This property was well-kept, the house was ideal for our family, and the location couldn't be beat. Holly's communication was top-notch, and our stay was excellent overall.

Great Hideaway

Clean, Comfortable, away from crowds yet easy access to attractions. The Star gazing was amazing. Host was very professional & accessable. Will definitely be back!

I was unsure that you could get to the other lakes on the chain. The little river (in some areas) is a little shallow but I was able to take my 17 1/2 foot fishing boat to all the lakes. We had a good time. Thank you

Summer

Clean and plenty of sleeping room. Enjoyed fire pit, backyard had plenty of room and no stairs to dock. Beautiful view of the lake. Enjoyed our stay.

Perfect combo of seclusion and lake life!

We loved the lodge! The kids had a blast fishing and watching wildlife during the day and playing ping pong and board games at night. The layout is perfect, and the outdoor area has a perfect view. Holly was amazing to communicate with when we had questions (she is very knowledgeable about the area). Could not have asked for a smoother experience:) We will be back! A!

Loved it!

The VRBO is on a more peaceful 5-lake chain in Sugar Camp. It was beautiful. The house is a great size for a group. We could’ve fit more than the 7 adults we had. It was a great base to go into Eagle River on some days, and to go out on a pontoon we rented from Dan Towne, who we highly recommend! He even dropped the pontoon off for us at the house’s dock! We also loved going to Pitlik’s right on the chain. Great atmosphere and bloodys! Great place to stay!

Great place!

Everything was as listed! Loved the proximity to the lake. The pier was awesome. The fire pit worked well, and they provided plenty of wood. We even had a great time hanging out in the basement when it was raining. I would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay. The water was warm for swimming. There's plants growing off the sides of the dock but off the end is a sandy bottom for swimming. We caught some pan fish off the dock. There was plenty of room for everyone in the cabin. The basement rec room was great for the kids. There was firewood for us to use for campfires. We appreciated the AC since it was a hot week! The host was wonderful.
