Kabinen har 4 soveværelser: 2 kingsize-senge - en konge på hovedniveau med den anden konge i kælderplan, begge senge har nye Serta-madrasser. De 2 dronningssenge er på 3. niveau. Hovedniveau konge seng / bad har et klo fod badekar og et brusebad. Stueetagen king seng / bad har et brusebad, og der er et badekar / brusebad på 3. niveau for de to dronning soveværelser.

Der er et 77 "Samsung væggehængt fladskærms-tv med surround sound-system og sektionssæder i kælderplanet. Der er også et bog- og videobibliotek på kælderniveau. Brothers Weekend

Excellent place to relax and connect. Cozy home with plenty of space for 4 guys. Loved the fire pit and the big screen to watch the World Series. Definitely would return especially with proximity to Biggs Island Brewery!

Comfortable stay and nice people in this area.

Plenty of fish to be caught if you like fishing. Rustic accommodations. Bedroom separation is great. Only 1 bedroom had an attached bathroom we thought there was going to be two master suites, I must of misread the listed. Our family tended to congregate on the middle floor but unfortunately the furniture there was rather uncomfortable and no tv to watch in that area. Make sure to bring junky shoes due to shorelines is red mud area. .

Very Happy

Love how quiet the inlet is. Neighbors are quiet and setting is very private. Love that the dogs were allowed. The house was plenty large enough for many people and fit my large family perfectly. I didn’t like the lack of toilet paper and paper towels but with the dollar general down the street we made do. I’ve never seen a place that charged more for towels and bedding also, but that too, we made do on. All in all, it was a beautiful house, perfect setting. Baby frogs were everywhere and my children kept catching them. Beds were perfectly comfortable. If you’re not from the area, fyi, the diet will stain! It’s quite red. The marina down the road was great to rent a pontoon from and BobCats bait was a great bait shop! Love the town! Ada was very kind and prompt! I appreciated working with her. I highly recommend!

Amazing lake house!

What a wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed the house. It was perfect for hosting our daughter’s little birthday party. Very convenient to the lake, gas station, dollar general and Clarksville shopping. Super nice property owners. Very accommodating!

A serene retreat

Our stay was wonderful! The host was exceptionally responsive from day 1 and eager for everything to be perfect. We had an amazing weekend celebrating my daughter’s graduation from college. Everyone enjoyed having the space to enjoy nature, fish from the dock and indulge in conversations in the kitchen and around the fire pit.

Lovely Cabin

Beautifully decorated for a December stay! Charming and cozy cabin. Clean and well stocked with appliances needed for cooking/baking…we are a family that loves to cook! Super quiet neighborhood and convenient to Clarksville. Can highly recommend.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful week staying at Stillwater. The house is very clean and well-maintained. The property is beautiful and we loved the lake. It feels very secluded, yet you are only 15 minutes from a grocery store which is very convenient. Thank you for a peaceful week's stay.

Amazing Log Cabin

Ada was the very best in being available to answer any questions! The cabin is just like the pictures online and even better. Perfect for a family and/or friends getaway. Everyone had their own space yet great family areas. And close to State Parks & beaches for the grandchildren 2 & 4 with splash pads. Food Lion is only 10 -15 minutes for anything you need for meals. Ada, thank you for sharing your wonderful family cabin. It was so well appointed, clean and in good working order. Only regret was that we wanted to stay longer! Sue & Don Williams

Wonderful Stay - Beautiful Cabin!

My husband and I stayed here with our 4 year old, 1 year old and my parents for three nights and were so pleased! It it more beautiful in person. The cabin was spotless, great location, peaceful and serene. Beds were very comfortable and everything was exactly as described. Have nothing but positive things to say about it. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Absolutely Amazing!

This cabin is absolutely amazing! It’s peaceful, picturesque, clean, grand, and inviting. The owners are so accommodating, informative, and make you feel welcome. From the moment you walk in you feel at home, and it’s just as nice as described. The only downfall is that once you stay here, you will not want to leave. If you love the lake and are looking for the perfect place to stay, then you will adore this beautiful cabin! We hope to stay again in the future.

Perfect getaway

We were looking for a cozy and festive cabin to ring in the new year, and this one was perfect. The space was super comfortable for our group (plenty of beds and space just as advertised). The beds were comfortable and ready for us (we did the linen package). Not a stocked kitchen in terms of basics (BYO olive oil, flour, tin foil, etc) however was as advertised. Food Lion 20 minutes away made it easy enough. I would recommend a key chain as well as updates to the cabin binder (with spotty service sometimes it was hard for me to get the vrbo app to load so having the directions in the binder would be helpful). I also had hoped that from the linen package there would’ve been more towels for the hot tub, however I never reached out for more and we made do. All appliances in working order and the host was SO responsive, always answering within minutes which I deeply appreciated. Hope to return to this special space again one day! I highly recommend it! Also desperate to find out where they got the bedroom star pillows - I am in love with them!

Spacious cabin. Great layout for families!

Great cabin on large lot right on the lake. Perfect spot for my wife and me, three teenaged boys, and a four month old black lab. Loved the huge fire pit, fishing from the dock (though didn't catch anything :-)), and views of nature form the deck, and so much more. Owner - Ada was great work with. Beautiful place/spot!

Beautiful log cabin and amazing private lake front property

Absolutely loved the house and the property! The backyard is very private with lots of trees and two private docks. Ada is a wonderfully nice lady! She responded very quickly to all of our inquires. Would love to rent this house again!

Anniversary Celebration

This was a perfect location for a small 50th wedding anniversary celebration. Property was easy to locate and spacious for our group of eight. Ada clearly communicated what was available at the property so we were well prepared.

Awesome family vacation on the lake

We had an amazing week at this property! Everything as advertised and more. The house is superb with everything that you can think of in the kitchen. Plenty of pots, pans, baking dishes, utensils, sharp knives, etc to do just about anything you wish. The lake front was great. We spent every day on the lake with plenty of space for a boat and a jet ski. The lake was quiet all week and the cove was perfect for swimming and fishing. There was lots of space for our family to spread out. Ada was a great host. Super responsive to all our questions and needs.

Family Friendly Perfect Vacation

Our friends and us decided we wanted a nice family escape when we found Still Waters. We both loved that we could bring our dogs with us...and they LOVED their time at the lake. There were 4 adults and 3 kids. The kids were 8 and 10. The location of the cabin was perfect! There was a walk down to the lake front, but once there it was so nice. The house is located on a quiet cove with very little traffic all week. The kids were able to swim safely without worry of having them watch out for boats. The bottom was pretty muddy, so the beach area got a little slippery throughout the week. There was plenty of shade by the lake to relax in while the kids swam. I brought our hammock and was able to hang it right at the water's edge. The men and children also all enjoyed fishing from the docks and shores. They were able to catch several bass and crappie which we brought home to enjoy! The house was nice and provided enough space for all of us. Based on the description of the rooms and beds, I was expecting one more room in the basement with multiple beds that the kids could have used together. However there was only one king bed in the bedroom and a couch in the common space. The main level has another king room and upstairs is two queen rooms with a full sleeper sofa in the loft area. The upstairs was quickly claimed by the three kids. The kitchen was well stocked and had what we needed to cook simple meals. The table and bar seating was adequate for all of us. We also loved spending the evening out on the deck and porch. We tried out the hot tube but half of the jets were a little too powerful with no way to adjust them. The hot tub was also a little low on water. We hope to be able to return to Still Water soon!

Cabin Feel with Designer Charm

This offering looks exactly like VRBO listing --well appointed luxury with rustic designer charm. Its spacious rooms & exterior decks offer quiet spaces to recharge one's inner self. The beds and linens are fantastic. The kitchen is well equipped and outdoor grill was easy to use. Amazing deck overlooks a well kept yard and fire pit area. Lakefront area is cleared for easy access but the water is low this spring. We loved our stay and Thank the hosts for sharing their beautiful home.

I grew up in Virginia and built this home as a retirement home. We currently live in Florida, but are blessed to stay at Stillwater's at least 5 months a year!

Derfor valgte værten dette overnatningssted

I absolutely LOVE Clarksville. The beauty of the Lake is breathtaking and the folks are some of the most hospitable I have seen. I chose this property to build the cabin on, because it is on a cove and gives you that private, cozy, feeling my husband and I love! The water view is beautiful, but the trees are equally so.....like being in a treehouse!
There is a large circular driveway that makes it convenient to park trailers and cars.
There is close to an acre beside the cabin for family football, soccer, volleyball, etc., so bring your equipment!
I really enjoy looking out the kitchen window and seeing all the woods and the fact that there are no houses on either side of us for compete privacy.

We had always loved log homes and wanted to eventually retire in one for part of the year! I am an interior designer by profession, so the home was great fun to furnish by "antiquing" locally for some of the furnishings. We spend at least 5 months a year now to be with our daughter and family!
The hot tub was a must for us and we're certain that our guests enjoy that amenity too!
There is a great surround sound system to companion a 77" Samsung TV with a large sectional and wood burning fireplace (logs on site for your use) on the ground level. A walk up bar competes that interior entertainment area with a table and four chair on the outside patio beside the hot tub!
Another great area is the large flagstone deck with cedar gliders and a fireplace. There is wood by the fireplace for your use.
The main level has a large deck that offers picnic table and benches, rockers, chairs and occasional tables! The Charbroil grill is located on the deck.
A gas fireplace is on the main level with ample seating for family gatherings.
During the holidays this room has a 9' Christmas tree with mantle decorations too!
The kitchen is GENEROUSLY stocked with any utensil, pot pan you may need to serve a lovely dinner at the 10 person dining table.
The white claw foot soaking tub in the master bath is a real luxury too to enjoy after a day of boating!
We have been so grateful to the many guests that have treated our home as their own and look forward to hosting YOU as well!!!!!
