Velkommen til paradis!!!! Ingen gade at krydse for at komme til stranden! Vi er 2. niveau. Gå ud af huset, direkte på sandet! Vi er beliggende ca. 120 meter fra vandkanten. Dune Walk East er en hævet, 1-etagers duplex. 1650 sq ft. 10 sovepladser. Det har to soveværelser med privat bad, det tredje soveværelse deler et stort badeværelse med det 4. soveværelse, der har to køjesenge !!! Det perfekte sted til en familieferie eller genforening. Lej begge sider i alt 8 soveværelser og 7 badeværelser !! (Se vores anden liste VRBO # 739865)
  Du vil elske at slappe af på dækket, mens børnene bygger sandslotte i det hvide sukker sand nedenfor !!!
Der er 2 svømmebassiner og en tennisbane i dette bjergfront samfund i Morgantown.
Der er masser af shopping, golf, vandrestier, minigolf, gåvogne og restauranter i nærheden. Har du ikke lyst til at gå ud for at spise? Intet problem ... køkkenet er udstyret med alt hvad du har brug for ... eller grill udenfor på grillpladsen og se den smukke solnedgang mens du slapper af din bekymring væk !!
Så luk øjnene og forestil dig bare dig selv på balkonen med den kølige, blide brise, der blæser og de rolige lyde fra havets bølger bryder sammen!

We enjoyed our family vacation- we had 6 adults and 6 children under 12. The beach is a short walk over several sand dunes in soft sand. The pool is around 1/2 mile walk, took 10-12 minutes. There are two pools, one was under maintenance probably due to recent rains. There was an updated covered grill area underneath the house with brand new grill. Could use some grill tools. There is clutter under the duplex from previous guests. Overall this is a great value for the money. Location: there is a nearby dollar general and Sassy Bass Market- have to go in to Gulf Shores otherwise and it’s a 25 minute drive. Wonderful small community with uncrowded beaches. Drive in to Gulf Shores to eat out. We made great memories.

Very happy with our stay. We did rent a golf cart for going back and forth to the beach assess points. We were traveling with our adult children and 6 month old grandson. So we may have brought more than usual to the beach each day. (Babies require a lot of stuff). Really enjoyed our stay and recommend it.

The home is the third back from the beach, but there is still a very pretty view of the water from the porch. Makes for a perfect morning coffee setting. The walk to the beach is fairly short, although carrying chairs, toys, and other beach gear with kids made me wish we booked a place with a walkway. The photos portray a very nice, well-maintained beach home, but we found the property to be quite different in person. While the beds and dishes were clean and the location was great, the home showed signs of deferred maintenance. Several interior doors, including the bathroom and bedroom doors, required significant force to open and close. The dryer was broken. Closet shelves falling down. We also found mold on the shower curtain, peeling paint, and a couple of holes in the walls. The downstairs area where the beach chairs, boogie boards, and sand toys are stored looked cluttered and unkempt, and the laundry room was filled with miscellaneous seasonal and household items, making the home feel more like a personal storage space than a vacation rental.None of these issues ruined our vacation, but together they made the property feel very different from the listing photos. At this price point, we expected a property that was well maintained, thoughtfully presented, and guest-ready. With some repairs, decluttering, and better upkeep, this could be a much more enjoyable place to stay.

Great location and view of the ocean

We enjoyed our stay. The property was clean a d spacious. Loved how pet friendly the home and neighborhood was. Will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Morgantown Spring Break

The house was as expected. Check-in process was easy. A nice beach with little traffic was exactly what we wanted for a spring break getaway.

Great stay for our family.

House was great and just what we needed. We had 8 people and more than enough room with 2 beds we didn’t even use. You’re able to walk straight to the water from the house. We’re all in decent shape and had no issue but I could see some would maybe need to drive a short, less than 1/2 mile, to the beach access in Morgantown.

It was a nice split duplex like home. I don’t think I realized it shared a porch and stairs with another renter. The walk to the beach is doable for sure but just farther than I anticipated and views were obstructed to the beach more than I thought. It was nice, just wanted to share those few things in case it is important to other renters.

Family time at beach.

Beach was a little hard to walk too. Other condo owners were not very friendly.

Thank you for your review…but I feel it’s important that you should have told the whole story….The reason the beach was hard for you to get to is because you have mobility issues and use a walker. The beach is directly in front of the house by approx 300ft. There are no streets to cross. The President of the HOA called to let us know that the neighboring house called to say you blocked their driveway, on more than one occasion….to unload your beach gear, so they were not happy with you when you ignored their request to please stop blocking their driveway.

Beach House

My husband and I stayed for a week with 5 of our kids. The space was very homey and plenty of room for all of us. The beach was a very short walk away. We enjoyed spending time in the evening out on the deck listening to the ocean waves. I always love staying in Fort Morgan because the beaches aren’t crowed at all. There was also a pool which the kids loved! I would definitely recommend this property!

Fort Morgan Beach trip

Needs work. The air conditioning is insufficient for the house. The main area was always hot. While the back bedrooms were cool. We bought a fan to in order to spend time in the main den/kitchen. The couch was so uncomfortable no one could sit on it. The beach was great. Fort Morgan and Gulf Shores is a great place to vacation.

Our AC is more than enough to cool entire house, in fact it is a new unit and bigger than what is needed. Our guest comfort is of upmost importance. We asked you to send a photo of the thermostat, the photo showed it was set at 70 cool and the temperature was 70…which means the AC is working perfectly. We still sent an AC Tech there and he confirmed everything is working exactly as it should….but when the heat index is 106 outside, and blinds and drapery are left open in the living room, it is going to be warmer than the rest of the house! Once guest was educated about keeping blinds, drapery and doors closed, we never heard another word about AC not cooling properly in living room.

Great porch breeze

Loved the breeze and views from the porch. Perfect using both sides for 3 generations. Owners very responsive to a water leak and repaired in hours. Beach access over the dune is not easy to navigate. Need to be very fit to walk-in and especially if you are hauling beach gear. The community need a beach access at this end. Pool was nice because of green seaweed that comes in June.

Fort Morgan!

Location was great! So close to the beach. It is a duplex and would like a choice on side next time. Yes, there will be a next time. Lay out great for us two family's with plenty of bathrooms and beds. Construction was an inconvenience with neighboring house, but not a complaint. Owner was great with communication. Will come back and totally recommend. Fort Morgan beach was not crowded and very quiet, store down the street was visited frequently for ice and little things. Dollar General met the sand play necessities!

Great beach, okay house. No longer front row view.

Just traveled there for Labor Day weekend. Had 6 adults and 7 kids (one infant). Unfortunately there is now a house being built right in front of this house that blocks most of the ocean view. Other than that, the house is as described. Here are the positives: * Plenty of space for everyone to sleep * Place was clean and HVAC worked well * Beach was not crowded at all. We expected this being labor day weekend but we had plenty of beach for ourselves * The pools were nice and never crowded either Here are the negatives: * They are building a brand new house between this duplex and the beach. So the beach view is very obstructed * The bathrooms felt a little old but worked fine * The bed spreads were what you'd expect to find at a cheap hotel Overall we had a good time at the beach and enjoyed the house.

We are so happy to hear that you loved the house and your family had a great time. There is a house being built approx 80 yards in front, but in NO WAY obstructs all the views! The lots are spaced accordingly, so that is not possible. There is still PLENTY of direct gulf view! We are also priced extremely reasonable for a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath, 2nd tier house, with no streets to cross to get to the beach! We are sorry you did not like the summer quilts. I can assure you they are not cheap. We put lightweight quilts on the beds in Spring/Summer because no one wants a heavy comforter on them in the hot, summer months, Thank you for booking with us and we hope to see you again next year!

Floor plans of the duplex worked for us; disappointed in poorly maintained property

PROS: 1. The duplex is located back from a section of the beach that is not heavily populated. 2. The layout of the two duplex units worked for our family of 22. CONS: Both sides were poorly maintained: water stains and mildew on ceilings in the main room; towel racks missing; broken down picnic table with exposed nails; exposed nails on dry-rotted deck railing; unpatched holes in wall; broken shelves in refrigerator that were still stuffed in top cabinet, despite a previous review with same complaint; seats of woven chairs broken or sagging; no round table in one side of duplex as advertised; replacement window trim still not painted; old windows and other items from "2020 renovations" still piled under the house. I have over 20 photos of the items I am describing, but there is not an option to attach photos. I called Dana after we got to the rental to ask her to remove the picnic table with the exposed nails. She said she couldn't remove it, but she would have someone come by and hammer the nails down. No-one ever came to to this, nor did we hear back from her about this concern. We will return to this area of Fort Morgan, but we do not recommend this rental due to inaccurate description of property, unacceptable maintenance condition, and poor response from owners.

Sadly, when guest break things and money is taken out of their deposit, VRBO allows them to leave a bad review! This guest stayed for 7 nights and did not have 1 complaint her entire stay! We believe she had more guest than what was allowed on her reservation because the place looked like someone had a huge party! She will never be welcomed back! She has been blocked from renting any of our properties! She is the only guest who left a negative review all summer….go figure!

Great place

We had a wonderful vacation. The house was awesome my only concern was below the house there was lumber and stuff laying in a heap and I was concerned with critters being attracted there.

Quick and easy beach access…short walk

The home was not at the level we expected. As we drove up to house on first evening we were greeted by construction debris along the driveway and a huge pile of construction debris and trash under the staircase leading to entrance. We were told by a neighbor that debris/trash has been there for several weeks. It’s a very dangerous situation for anyone with children. The mattresses on all the beds were horrible and pillows were lumpy. The higher star review is only because of its nearness to beach.

Wonderful family trip!!

This house was just right for the 7 of us. The kids loved the long hallway to run and play. The kitchen was fully stocked if we wanted to cook. The walk to the beach wasn't bad. Some of it was on the end of the street. All the bedrooms were good and there was a bathroom for each bedroom. We would love to rent it again!

Nice house

I was a little disappointed in the house. We found clothing left over from previous guests in 3 of the bedrooms and chips on the floor. The kitchen cookware could stand to be replaced. Overall we still had a good time. The beach and access to it were very nice.

Almost perfect.

All was well as far as booking and checking in. The first thing I noticed when I walked into the property was the smell of urine, it wasn’t hit you in your face strong so I didn’t make a big fuss of it. My 2 youngest kids sleep in the bedroom with the bunk beds, the next morning they said their room smelled like pee. I went into the room and sure enough, the smell was more noticeable than when we first checked in. The remainder of our stay they slept in one the other bedroom and kept that room closed. That was the only negative thing about the property. The decorations were well appointed, walking distance to the beach was great. I would have liked for the pot and pans to be updated, I couldn’t find a pan that didn’t have the non-stick surface all scratched up.

Family Fun!

Perfect location for large family fun!..Short walk to the beach... away from crowds on the beach. The house and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed.

Family Vacation

Very clean and easy to work/communicate with! The grill is a park style grill but still good to use. Short walk to the beach!

We have been married for 18 wonderful years!! I am very blessed to have married my best friend! We enjoy lots of outdoor activities and staying active! When Ron isn't golfing and I'm not playing tennis...you will find us at the beach!!! We have 3 rescue 'fur babies' that go everywhere we do! I wouldn't want to vacation without them and that's why we offer a pet friendly vacation home!

We fell in love with this house and everything it has to offer! It has the most beautiful, panoramic, unobstructed views of the sandy white beach and the blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico! It is very spacious and I love offering the option to rent both sides out as one house for large families or groups at an affordable rate!!

Rent one side or two...for a million dollar view...it's up to you!!!!!
